Abstract: The present invention is a unique prescription label, printed on one side that allows a consumer to check and verify the accuracy of the prescribed medication as well as to provide additional information on the medication container by increasing the usable size and area of the prescription label with an informational tab extending radially from the container, the present invention also provides a means for easy application of the prescription label onto the container by scoring the facing on the first portion and second portion of the label and scoring the backing of the second portion of the label in order to create an even fold between the two portions.

Abstract: A cap cover made of a folded fiberboard material adhesively held together in a configuration to fit over an existing bottle cap. The cap cover is formed of a die cut pattern which is folded to provide a peripheral band surrounding a vertically extending edge of a bottle cap and which has a height to extend downwardly to engage the bottle shoulder. The cover has a top extending horizontally across the top of the bottle cap. Brightly colored cap colors can be provided for drawing attention to the product and provide additional surface area for printed information, graphics, and the like which identify the product and/or provide eye-appeal and draw attention to the product.

Abstract: A beverage bottle is provided, with a sidewall detail representing a gemstone, in which the gemstone representation is carried by and secured to the sidewall of the bottle, either directly on the surface thereof, or in a recess thereof, with or without a setting, with the gemstone representation preferably having a plurality of facets for reflecting light outwardly of the gemstone and thereby suggesting a quality product in the bottle.

Abstract: A feeding device and a method for facilitating the transition from non-oral tube feeding to oral feeding is disclosed. The device comprises a fluid reservoir having a fluid outlet, a nipple having a fluid outlet, a shield attached to the nipple base, a conduit for conveying fluid from the reservoir to the nipple fluid outlet and a manually adjustable valve that is operable to prevent and control the flow of fluid through the conduit. The method comprises the steps of providing a device of the type just described, acclimating an infant to the device by closing the valve and inserting the nipple into the infant's mouth. The valve is then opened to permit the very slow flow of fluid through the nipple outlet. Additional feeding regimens are provided in which restriction of the flow of fluid is gradually relaxed over a series of feedings until the infant is able to withdraw about sixty cubic centimeters of fluid during a twenty minute feeding without distress.

Abstract: A plug and wickholder is configured to be reliably sealed to the neck of a bottle which contains a liquid to be atomized and to a cap which seals the bottle during storage. The plug and wickholder includes a first generally tubular wall which contains a wick and which fits tightly into a cap sealing wall, and it further includes a generally cylindrical sealing wall which fits tightly into a bottle neck. A second generally vertical tubular wall is interposed between the first generally tubular wall and the generally cylindrical sealing wall.

Abstract: The invention is a container with a sealing lid and a compression nut and is composed of compressible cylindrical walls. The container volume can be adjusted to equal the volume of content minimizing content contact with air. The container can be further pressurized for preservation of contents that need pressurization. The container walls are created in the form of helical collapsible screw thread bellows. The integration of a compression nut, a screw and a collapsible bellow arrangement enables the container to be compressed precisely, effortlessly, easily while retaining structural rigidity, stability and providing a non-slip gripping surface. By adjusting the pitch of the screw threads a variety of mechanical advantage ratios can be achieved thus the effort for compressing the container can be optimized. The compression nut is detachable and transferable from one container to another enabling it's cost to be shared between multiple containers.

Abstract: A bottle packaging sleeve, and method of using same, for placing advertising on wine and spirits bottles, which provides both advertising and a way to protect the bottles from damage in a shopping bag or box, comprising a sheet of cushioning material, the exterior face of which is provided with informational material, the sheet being sufficiently elastic to be fitted onto a bottle. Optionally, the sleeve includes a bottle girth adaptor for coupling a first and second end of the sheet of cushioning material while further adapting to the girth of the bottle.

Abstract: A fluid distribution device, in particular of cosmetic product, of the type comprising a bottle adapted to contain the fluid and having a distribution orifice, a decorative case (8) covering the bottle, said case having a body (12a, 12b) and retaining means (24, 16) adapted to retain the body with respect to the bottle. The retaining means comprise a collar (16) integral with the decorative case and articulation means (18) connecting the collar to the body. The flexible bottle assembly has an upper end threaded to fit into the bottom of the spray nozzle and its lower end is threaded to fit onto the bottle of liquid to be sprayed. The length of the flexible assembly is preferably about 3½ inches.

The memento provides a convenient means of saving and storing product information that helps the user find and purchase an equivalent bottle of the desired product at a later date. The bottle memento system comprises a wine bottle (for example), a label affixed to the wine bottle, and a detachable memento affixed overlying the wine bottle. The memento is used to identify the wine bottle. In some aspects the memento is a detachable portion of the label. In other aspects, the memento is affixed directly to the bottle as an auxiliary label. The memento can include such information as the vintager, vintage, type of wine, type of grape, growing region, location of vintager, awards, price, barcode, reviews, coupons, or distributor.

The pouch portion can be adapted to contain a loose snack food item or a packaged snack food item.

Abstract: A bottle adapter includes a connector having a containment region for holding a composition and an internal threaded portion that engages threads on a bottle neck and has an opening in fluid communication with the containment region. An upper end of the connector has an aperture that is in fluid communication with the containment region. The adapter also includes a first seal for sealing an opening in the threaded portion and a second seal for sealing the aperture. In use a removal of the first seal permits fluid communication between the containment region and fluid in the bottle, permitting the formation of a mixture. A removal of the second seal permits the mixture to be dispensed. Methods for storing a composition for subsequent mixing with a fluid and for delivering a mixture of a composition and a fluid are also addressed.

The wick holder assembly includes at least two fingers, each of the fingers having an inner surface that defines part of the wick holder passage and an outer surface, and a clip disposed abutting the outer surfaces of the at least two fingers. The bottle assembly also includes a wick disposed in the wick holder passage with at least a part of the wick between the at least two fingers. The wick has an outer surface that abuts the inner surface of the wick holder passage with the clip disposed abutting the outer surfaces of the at least two fingers.

After feeding, the panel and the collar wipe clean the baby's mouth region and are washable for reuse.

Abstract: A security device for a bottle having a neck fitted with a closure comprises a sleeve (10) adapted to fit over the neck of the bottle and a catch member (26) pivoted to the sleeve (10) for movement between free and locking positions. The catch member has an inner portion (13) which projects through an aperture (12) in the sleeve, into the bore thereof, which inner portion (13) is adapted to engage a shoulder of the bottle neck or an edge of the closure, thereby to resist removal of the sleeve (10) from a bottle neck when the device has been fitted thereto. A magnetic armature (38) is connected to the catch member (26) such that an applied magnetic field will move the armature (38) so as then to move the catch member to its free position and thereafter permit removal of the sleeve from the bottle. A housing (11) encloses the release mechanism and also a radio-frequency or other security responder whereby unauthorised removal of a bottle carrying the security device from a protected area will sound an alarm.

The elbow shaped body is shaped to maintain the proximal opening in non-coaxial alignment with the distal opening. The proximal opening includes an externally threaded portion adapted to threadedly receive a retaining cap that functions to lock the nipple over the proximal opening. The distal opening includes an internally threaded portion adapted to threadedly engage the baby bottle. The angled cap further includes a vent aperture through the angled cap adjacent the proximal opening.

The bottle adapter has a base, and the base has a bottom end and a top end. A bottle receiving portion extends from the bottom end of the base, and an attachment receiving portion extends from the top end of the base. The bottle receiving portion includes an outer bottle receiving ring and an inner bottle receiving ring. The attachment receiving portion includes an outer attachment receiving ring and an inner attachment receiving ring. The base of the bottle adapter also includes a passage defined therein for allowing the flow of a fluid from the bottle receiving portion to the attachment receiving portion of the bottle adapter. In an embodiment of the invention, the bottle adapter is sized to adapt both a disposable liner bottle and a traditional bottle to receive both a disposable liner bottle nipple and ring assembly and a traditional nipple and ring assembly.

Abstract: A container for volatile liquids, such a gasoline, is made of a conductive plastic material. An electrical connection is made to the container, such as by using a metal hose clamp around the neck of the container (or a threaded stud which is molded into the container), so that a conductive cable can be electrically attached to the container. At the distal end of the conductive cable a spring loaded electric clip is attached, whereby the electric clip can be connected to a conductive portion on the equipment which is to be fueled. By using the present invention, the benefits of a plastic fuel container, including arbitrary shape, absence of denting or corrosion, light weight, and inclusion of a molded handle, can all be derived without the detrimental effect of build-up of static charge which can lead to an explosion if a spark ignites volatile fuel-air vapors.

The fingers (18) together define a substantially frusto-conical structure such that when the neck of the bottle or other vessel is inserted into the container (10) through the opening (17) the fingers (18) are forced apart to allow passage of the neck until they have moved over the abutment surface formed on it. The ends of the plurality of fingers (18) engaged with the abutment surface to oppose movement of the neck of the bottle or other vessel out of the container.

Abstract: A multilayer sheet, which is particularly well adapted for use as as a label sleeve on carbonated beverage containers, includes first and second coextruded unfoamed layers of polymer compositions each consisting essentially of polyolefin, polystyrene and a compatibility agent. The polyolefin and polystyrene are in a weight ratio in the range of about 30/70 to 70/30, and the compatibility agent is in the amount of about 5% to 10% by total weight. A pigment in the amount of about 10% to 15% by total weight may be included in one or both of the coextruded layers. The polyolefin preferably is selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene and mixtures thereof, and the compatibility agent preferably comprises a styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene block copolymer. One of the unfoamed layers preferably is thicker and of higher strength than the other layer, while the other layer has a smooth uniform exterior surface.

Abstract: A tank sump has a one-piece body comprising a hollow base member for collecting fluids leaking from a piping system, the base member having an upper portion and a lower portion, and a hollow riser section having an upper portion and a lower portion, the riser lower portion extending upwardly from the base member upper portion, the riser section having sidewalls with alternately adjacent vertically extending wall portions and outwardly extending, U-shaped grip portions. An integrally formed cover is defined on top of the riser section upper portion. The cover may be cut off from the riser section of the body. A gasket may extend between the cover outer periphery and the outwardly extending grip portion of the riser section, and a mechanism removably secures the cover to the outwardly extending grip portion with the gasket therebetween, in a substantially water resistant sealing manner. The cover may alternately be cut away from the body and discarded.

The article carrier may be readily inserted onto, or removed from, the beverage container. Likewise, when the carrier is inserted onto the beverage container, the package of snacks may readily be added to or removed therefrom.

Abstract: A container for drugs which features a cylindrical vial with a cylindrical skirt joined to a base unit housing a timer unit with a time display. A switch sets a time which remains on display, indicating the last time the switch was actuated, i.e. the last time medication was taken. The base unit is removably mounted to the vial with a ball and socket arrangement so that the base unit may be retained, even though the vial is discarded.
