Abstract: A vacuum seal lid for turning existing containers including plate, bowl, pan and even cutting board into a vacuum storage container comprises a top plate having an opening, a sidewall, sealing means for preserving vacuum, and a knob adapted to be at a first position in which it is above the opening to facilitate evacuation and handling, a second position in which it is at least partly below the opening to facilitate stacking and storage and a third position between the first and second positions in which the vacuum is released. The top plate may further comprise a first plate in which the opening is located and a second plate having an elastic membrane and a smooth lower surface constituting part of the sealing means for sealing containers smaller than the lid. The sealing means also comprises a sealing membrane located below the bottom surface or on the outer surface of the sidewall for sealing containers larger than the lid.

Abstract: A container lid with a latch handle is taught that incorporates a drinking lip, having a flared brim, configured to interface with a liquid container. A lip sealing ring is disposed on the drinking lip creating a watertight fit between the lip and the container. A lid body, having lid male threads, is configured to interface with container lid female threads, and the lid body includes a bottom cover which forms a dead air space for insulation purposes within the lid. The lid body incorporates a vertical arched handle with a snap-in hinged spring loaded latch for quick release attachment of the container lid and container securely to an object. A lid sealing ring is disposed on the lid body forming a watertight fit between the lid body and the container drinking lip.

Abstract: A single, thin piece of folded material attaches to a single serving container to provide a strong, sanitary spoon. Folding score lines on the handle portion of the spoon give the utensil strength and provide a simplicity of use suitable for children. The disclosed utensil may be attached to existing containers or may be built into containers during the manufacture of the underlying container, or may be available as a stand-alone product. The disclosed utensil may be integrated into packaging material such as overwrap sleeves used to package food containers.

The cup and the lid enclose the bottom opening of the container to allow the container to be filled with a snacking food. A handle is attached to opposite sides of the container configured to enable a person to carry together the container, the cup, and the candy.

The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable cover that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The cover is pivotably connected to the lid. The lid also includes a rotatable handle that may be pivoted by a user from a first position to a second position. When pivoted, the handle is operative to cause the cover to pivotably rotate about a pivot point between an open position wherein a user may access a liquid contained in the beverage container and a closed position wherein the liquid is sealed within the beverage container. Thus, a user may simply rotate the handle of the lid to selectively open and close the cover.

The single piece lid cap having a first vent located normal to a natural vertical upward move of the aerosolized contaminants, and a second vent at a back end of the single piece lid cap, oriented substantially parallel to the vertical upward movement of the aerosolized contaminants. The aerosolized contaminants are detected, collected, contained, neutralized, and eliminated by the article within the housing, allowing only uncontaminated air out of the second vent through a natural upward movement of the aerosolized contaminants.

The at least one clip is an over-the-center clip and includes a hook and a catch to selectively retain the lid in sealing engagement with the container rim.

The invention includes a cover having a central recess; a handle within the recess; and a hood configured to selectively cover the recess and handle. The handle may include a longitudinal spine member and a plurality of ribs. The ribs may be configured to transfer downward force applied on the hood to the cover, thereby supporting the hood. The handle may also include a tab extending from the ribs to resist withdrawing the handle from the recess, thereby facilitating removal of the cover using the handle. The cover, the handle, and the hood may be constructed from transparent plastic, such as poly-carbonate, thereby enabling a user to see whether any undesirable things are beneath the lid.

Two generally parallel longitudinal ribs extend across the platform and project upwardly from the platform. The longitudinal ribs extend from the lower encircling segment at the front of the base to the rear of the base. Short bridging ribs are evenly spaced parallel to one another and extend laterally between and connect the two longitudinal ribs. A plurality of cross ribs extend outwardly from each longitudinal rib to the encircling segment.

The lid securing device further includes first and second adjustable strap systems, with each strap system having a portion that extends in the space between each pair of upper and lower panels of the first and second support pieces, with the portion of the first strap system crossing the portion of the second strap system in each of the spaces between each pair of upper and lower panels. Each strap system further includes a fastener that allows the length of the strap system to be adjusted.

Abstract: The apparatus of the present invention implements a canteen cup cover that can be deployed in conjunction with the standard military issue canteen and cup. The canteen cup cover of the present invention is most preferably manufactured from a durable metallic material, such as stainless steel. The canteen cup cover has one or more integrated slit-like apertures and may be selectively placed over and removed from the canteen cup, thereby providing enhanced functionality for the canteen cup for certain cooking applications. In addition, the most preferred embodiments of the canteen cup cover comprise an integrated signaling mirror. A specific cooking method, using the canteen cup cover is also disclosed.

An actuator handle actuates movement of the drum.

Each container has base (14) and lid (16) elements, with one of them having an outer rim part with a pair of long handle sections (80, 82) that can be pivoted up to form a handle assembly for carrying the container. The sections that form handles are formed in the lid element (16) rather than in the base element (14), so a person does not have to contend with long bouncing sections if the person eats a meal out of the base. One of the elements has vertically undercut grooves (50) and the other element has horizontal projections (52) that slide into and along the grooves. The grooved element has vertical passages (120) along which the projections can move vertically until they can slide into and along the grooves.

The container has a plurality of flexible loop frames each contained in a pocket connected to form sides of the container in an expanded configuration. The handle has a first end extending through a buttonhole in one of the pockets and encircling the flexible frame and the pocket portion containing the flexible frame. The handle may further have a second end extending through another buttonhole in the pocket or an adjacent pocket and encircling the flexible frame and the pocket portion containing the flexible frame. The edge of the buttonholes is preferably finished with strengthening structure.

Abstract: The present invention is a male and female safety cap to protect hose and liquid transport fittings and the hand of the operator. The male safety cap has a circular disk with a diameter larger than the female fitting and a loop handle. The female safety cap has raised parallel ridges to protect the cam arm and a loop handle. A T-handle cam is provided to improve handling. In one embodiment, the safety caps are covered in a resilient material to reduce shock. In another embodiment, the safety caps are molded from an electrical dissipative material to prevent static electricity buildup and discharge when removing the safety cap. The loop handle forms a continuous arcuate structure to provide protection to the operator's hand. The safety caps can be color coded or affixed with labels to prevent product cross contamination. Safety caps can be adapted to threaded couplings and fittings.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding stacked trays includes a cover and a hooking unit. The cover protects an upper surface of the stacked trays. The hooking unit is connected to the cover. The hooking unit is drawn from at least two side surfaces of the cover along the side surfaces of the stacked trays, to hold both lower ends of the stacked trays. Thus, the stacked trays may be easily held only by hooking the hook on the lower end of the stacked trays.
