The side walls of the tray which have the openings have, in each case in the region above the wall portion which has the at least one opening, a freely upwardly projecting tongue (9), which is connected via a bending line (10) to the wall portion which has the at least one opening, and is located beneath the tongue. In the fitted state of the lid, the tongues of the side walls butt against sloping portions (59) of the lid.

Abstract: A cooking appliance is provided. The cooking appliance comprises a cooker body for receiving food and a lid for covering the cooker body. The cooking appliance has a front side for facilitating cooking operations and a rear side spaced apart from the front side. The cooker body comprises at least one latch slot disposed on an inclined rear side of the cooker body. The lid comprises at least one latch bar disposed on a periphery thereof and extending outwardly therefrom. When the lid is detached from the cooker body, the latch bar is operable to be inserted into the corresponding latch slot to secure the lid at the inclined rear side of the cooker body, allowing a user to secure the lid to the latch slot without reaching a rear side of the cooker body by hand, and to retrieve the food without accidentally contacting the lid.

Abstract: Mobile device cases are provided which, in a first embodiment, selectively limit a user's ability to control the user's own mobile electronic device. The case includes front and rear portions joined together and defining therein an opening for receiving a mobile electronic device, such as a mobile phone. A locking mechanism is provided for selectively securing the opening in a first locked position to prevent operational access to the mobile electronic device by the user until a predetermined condition is met. The case includes an indicia of time visible to the user during the period of time of prevented operational access. In a further embodiment, a case is provided with first and second polymeric shells each having an interior and an exterior surface thereon and connected together by at least one hinge portion. The first and second shell portions form a cavity of sufficient size to cover a mobile electronic device sufficiently to prevent access by its user.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to waste containers and, more particularly, relates to a locking device for waste containers. The locking device is gravity actuated to an opened position on tilting of the container for dumping. The locking device allows the lid of the container, when the container is in an upright position, to be locked to prevent unauthorized access to the container. When the container is tilted from the upright position, e.g. to empty the contents of the container, the locking device is gravity actuated to allow the lid to open.

Abstract: Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to an internal cover/vent handle arrangement, in association with a container, such as a 5 gallon bucket with a slanted sidewall for evacuating air volume above stored material. The disclosure relates to a squeeze-actuated vent valve arrangement arranged and configured to be easily operated even while deeply recessed in the bucket. The disclosure also relates to a deflectable outer seal arrangement configured to seal against a slanted sidewall of a bucket.

Abstract: A storage compartment formed from two halves designed to fit a paint lid, the two halves being connected by a living hinge or other suitable connection type. The two halves can be sealed over the paint lid. An optional magnet holds the storage compartment and lid to the bottom of the paint can, ensuring the lid remains in proximity to the paint can. A second magnet may also hold the lid in place within the storage compartment. Molded clasps or other closure elements are used to close the lid over the storage compartment. A rotatable arm can be tilted up from the storage compartment to allow for carrying of the open paint can along with the lid keeper storage compartment.

Abstract: A water resistant tote box is provided. The tote box includes a base, longitudinally extending sidewalls, laterally extending end walls, and a two-piece lid. The base includes a concave lower surface that matches a convex upper surface of the lid, for preserving the structural integrity of the convex upper surface when stacking a like tote box thereon. The two-piece lid includes a pair of lid halves including a rear end hingedly attached to the sidewalls and a free end including interlocking flaps that are securable via a line of connection. Drain troughs disposed on the walls are in fluid communication with drain channels disposed on the lid, enabling moisture to flow off the top of the tote box. Drain gutters disposed on the lid halves are configured to direct moisture, permeating the line of connection, towards the walls. In this way, the tote box has a synergistic effect of resisting water by directing moisture away from the top of the tote box and preventing moisture from leaking into its interior.

The preform is formed from a strip of sealing material including a first longitudinal side surface having a projection projecting therefrom and an oppositely arranged second longitudinal side surface having a notch formed therein. The notch is aligned with the projection with respect to the longitudinal direction of the strip. A first segment of the strip is formed to a first side of the projection and a second segment of the strip is formed to a second side of the projection. The projection forms the substantially right-angled exterior corner of the sealing element following a bending of the first segment perpendicular to the second segment.

Abstract: An integrated grocery bag hook and fuel door release cable coupling member extends through a keyway opening of an interior trim panel. When the integrated member is received in the opening, the grocery bag hook portion is positioned on the front side of the trim panel, and the fuel door release cable coupling is positioned on the back side of the trim panel. When the integrated member is received in the opening in an unlocked orientation, the key portion is oriented in alignment with the keyway opening to permit the key portion to pass through the keyway opening. When the integrated member is received in the keyway opening in a locked orientation, the integrated member is oriented with a locking detent engaging and retaining the integrated member in the locked orientation in which the key portion is prevented from passing through the keyway opening.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a tank cap including a lever member that is constrained from moving to the standing position contrary to the intention of the operator. Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to an insulating device, for example a cooler, and a latch and latching system for securing a lid of the insulating device in a closed position. More specifically, the insulating device includes a chest coupled to a lid, and a ledge extending from the chest. A slot is formed in the ledge and for each slot, a pair of protrusions extend from a bottom surface of the ledge on other side of the slot. The protrusions are received by corresponding recesses formed in the latch. Thus, when the latch is in the engaged position, the protrusions are physically securely engaged in the recesses by virtue of the latch being in a tensioned configuration.

Abstract: A refuse container locking apparatus and method. In some embodiments, the refuse container has a container bin with a container lid rotatably mounted adjacent the open end of the container bin. Some instances of the locking apparatus have a locking hasp arm with a slotted end mounted to a base plate mounted to the container sidewall. The locking hasp is linearly slidable on the base plate between a first arm distal position spaced from container lid and a first arm interlocking position adjacent the container lid. Some instances include a locking bolt mounted on a bolt base mounted on the container lid. The locking bolt is linearly slidable on the bolt base between an unlocked position spaced from the locking hasp arm and an interlocked position adjacent the container lid and in interlocking communication with the locking hasp arm. Some methods can require two hands to operate the locking apparatus.

A first device includes a bar that seats against a doorframe on opposite sides of the door and a clamp that clasps a door latch and applies a force to draw the bar against the doorframe while pulling the door latch toward the bar. The door cannot be opened away from the bar. A second device has a bar that seats against a doorframe at the floor with a two plates that extend beneath the door and around to opposite sides of the doorframe. Removable pins or other locks obstruct the plates from sliding along the bar. The bar is tall enough that the door cannot pass over the bar, thus obstructing the door from opening inwardly. A closer cover slides over a mechanical door closing mechanism to be used alone or with the other devices.

Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing and converting a container includes a platform for slidably accommodating a sheet of packaging material, an actuation mechanism for feeding the sheet through the platform, and a gluing device for applying glue to a portion of the sheet. The apparatus further includes a magnet applicator assembly housing a plurality of magnets, a slug applicator assembly housing a plurality of slugs and a folding mechanism to align the sheet in a final glued form. The magnet applicator assembly applies magnets to the sheet at a pre-determined time, and the slug applicator assembly applies slugs to the sheet at a pre-determined time. The magnet and the slug are attached to the sheet by the glue applied by the gluing device. The magnet aligns with the slug forming a reclosable connection.

In one embodiment, the retail package includes a hall-effect sensor mounted on one portion, a magnet mounted on another portion, and an audio playback circuit that plays prerecorded audio when the portions are separated during opening. In another embodiment, the audio playback circuit can be coupled to an audio output of the electronic device, enabling the package to function as an external loudspeaker. And in yet another embodiment, the package includes a pull-out drawer for storing accessories, such as a manual, earphones, AC adapter, USB cable, and so forth.
