The panel assembly includes a panel, a locking module and a retention module mounted on two opposite sides of the panel. The retention module has fixing portions engaging with a first side of the box. The locking module includes a bracket fixed to the panel and a cover slidably connected to the bracket. The cover includes securing portions. The cover is movable relative to the bracket between a locked position in which the securing portions engage with an opposite second side of the bracket and a released position in which the securing portions are away from the opposite second side of the bracket.

Abstract: A food container includes a body and a lid. The body has a first containing space which has a first opening and a first rim on the edge of the first opening. The lid has a second rim coupled to the first rim. The first rim is extended to form a first horizontal section which is extended to form a first bent section. The first bent section further is extended to form a first latch section. The second rim is extended to form a second horizontal section, a second bent section and a second latch section. The first and second latch sections have respectively a first and second positioning portion. When the lid covers the body, the second horizontal section presses the second bent section in contact with the first bent section so that the first and second positioning portions are engaged, thereby to enhance coupling strength and sealing tightness.

Abstract: A fuel cap for a filler neck on a fuel tank includes a cap body having threads for engaging the filler neck when the fuel cap is installed on the filler neck and a cap handle rotatably mounted on the cap body. A clutch acts between the cap handle and the cap body to permit the cap handle to rotate freely on the cap body when the clutch is disengaged. When the clutch is engaged, rotation of the cap handle will rotate the cap body so that the user can remove the fuel cap from the filler neck to refuel the vehicle. A pressure-sensing diaphragm disengages the clutch when the pressure differential between the fuel vapor pressure and the atmospheric pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold and engages the clutch when the pressure differential between the fuel vapor pressure and the atmospheric pressure is less than the predetermined threshold.

Abstract: A self service automated dump station is provided using a control mechanism for the collection of money that releases a latching mechanism located on a removable lockable cap that sits upon the dump station's drain line. In one embodiment provided, the removable lockable cap is lifted from the dump station inlet line by a remote foot pedal—this allows for a cleaner and more efficient means for inserting the hose from the waste tank of a vehicle into the dump station inlet line. Money payment can be either made by cash or by credit or debit cards. The operation of the dump station is made more efficient and requires fewer interactions between those who need to transfer waste from their vehicle waste tanks, such as operators of campers or recreational vehicles, and the dump station operator. Remote sensors can also be deployed to minimize the possibility of spillage or over-fill of the dump station if the dump station is not hooked up to a sewer system.

Abstract: A product storage container that includes a container body, a slide mechanism, and a frangible tear strip. The container body includes a base portion that is joined to a cover portion through a hinge section. The cover portion provides an upper flange extension that defines a first slot, the base portion provides a lower flange extension that defines a second slot, and the hinge section allows the cover portion to move between an open position and a closed position. The slide mechanism is positioned within the first and second slots and is configured to secure the cover portion in the closed position when arranged in a first position. The frangible tear strip maintains the slide mechanism in the first position, and upon severing, allows the slide mechanism to travel to a second position which enables the cover to be moved to the open position.

Abstract: A flexible film package having an adhesive based reclosable fastener having a flexible film substrate forming a plurality of package walls sealed to form an interior cavity for receiving a product; the plurality of walls having at least two opposing flexible walls; a package mouth, initially sealed, to permit access to the interior cavity; a low tack pressure sensitive adhesive (LTPSA) layer disposed on each of an exterior surface of the parallel walls, the LTPSA sized and oriented in positions to oppose one another at a plurality of positions when the package is reclosed to allow progressively decreased size of the interior cavity as product is removed; and wherein a bond strength of the LTPSA to the flexible film substrate is greater than an adhesion between LTPSA areas. The mouth can be formed by a peelable seal or by a defined area of weakness.

The cover mechanism is used for either covering and protecting connectors of the external interface assembly, or exposing out the external interface assembly. Accordingly, the cover mechanism has at least three positions, and can move between a locked position, a partially released position, and a completely released position.

Abstract: An improved closure for a container. The container includes a lip having a plurality of downwardly extending angled surfaces, each terminating in a recess, and a shoulder which defines an open top of the container. The closure includes a plurality of lugs which are configured to engage the angled surfaces when the closure is rotated and mate with the recesses to secure the closure in place. To secure the tabs in the recesses, the closure includes one or more springs which extend downwardly from the top of the closure and contact the shoulder of the container to urge the closure upwardly with respect to the container. To separate the closure and the container, the closure is pressed toward the open top of the container, thereby disengaging the lugs from the recesses and allowing the rotation of the closure to disengage the closure from the container.

Abstract: A device and method for connecting a cup and a lid includes a cup portion that has a lip, the lip extending from an outer circumference of the cup portion at an open end of the cup portion. The device has a lid portion and a collar portion. The collar portion engages with the lip, thereby holding the collar portion to the cup portion. A series of magnets and/or metal pieces couple magnetically attract the lid portion to the collar portion. As pressure within the cup portion increases beyond a predetermined point, the series of magnets and/or metal pieces partially disengage, thereby allowing escape of excess pressure.

Abstract: A plastic closure includes a shell having a base wall with a skirt for securement to a container finish and a lip that extends radially inwardly from the skirt at a position adjacent to and spaced from the base wall. A liner is compression molded in situ against the base wall, and between the base wall and the lip. The lip has a plurality of circumferentially spaced passages that extend through the lip for venting air during compression molding of the liner.

Abstract: A locking mechanism for a storage container is provided. The locking mechanism is positioned on a center post of the storage container and includes a sled, a handle or knob, a connecting mechanism, a sled arresting mechanism, and a lock. Depending upon the position of the lock, the handle can unlatch the container. When the lock is in the unlocked position, the sled arresting mechanism allows the unlatching of the container. When the lock is in the locked position, the sled arresting mechanism prevents the unlatching of the container. The locking mechanism is resistant to drill attack due to its vertical configuration and positioning of a cover on the center post.

Abstract: A fluid collection security device for storing, securing and collecting fluids from a receptacle. The receptacle comprises a reservoir in its interior, a cover defining a siphon opening for accessing fluid within the receptacle, a trough or plate defining one or more drain openings for pouring fluid into the receptacle. The drain openings are designed so that siphon tubes and other fluid removal or theft devices cannot penetrate them. The device further includes a locking arrangement that only allows secured access to the siphon opening to remove fluid from the receptacle.

A driving projection on the lid engages a second counter structure on the insert to rotate the insert with the lid, so that the lid and insert do not move relative to the object as the lid moves to the locking position.

Abstract: A security closure system for terminating the hose-connector connected to the outlet of a storage tank whose contents are to be periodically pumped out. A first male-outlet component is provided with an outer, circumferential annual groove for reception therein of camming elements of camming arms, and has a terminal projecting tongue provided with an opening or hole for receiving a locking device, such as a padlock. The male-component is further provided with an enlarged mounting flange for mounting the male-component to a wall of the storage tank or to a bulkhead adjacent the storage tank. The security closure system also comprises a second female part, which is a female closure cap that matingly receives therein the first male-component. The closure cap has a slot for passing therethrough the tongue of the first male-component, whereby a padlock or other lock may be used for locking the cap in place over the first male-component.

Abstract: Provided is a security package which generally comprises a casing for housing a product and a collar for locking the casing. The collar generally has a locked and unlocked configuration and comprises a first locking member having at least one male locking mechanism, and a second locking member having at least one female locking mechanism lockable to the at least one male locking mechanism. The casing generally has an open and closed configuration, and comprises a cavity shaped to substantially conform to the product. In the locked configuration the collar secures the casing in the closed configuration. The casing may comprise a first and second casing portion, and these may be integrally formed with the one or more of the first and second locking members. The collar may form a perimeter around the casing, may be adjustable, and may house a security device such as an RFID (radio-frequency identification) tag.

Abstract: Containers with child resistant safety caps are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the cap contains (1) an overlay and (2) a solid base. The overlay fits around at least a portion of the cap's solid base. At an end of the overlay is a thumb tab for facilitating the opening and closing of the cap. The overlay also contains a skirt that is perpendicular to the thumb tab. The skirt of the overlay contains a tab. At the end of the solid base proximal to the location of the tab on the overlay (when the cap is in the closed position) the solid base contains a notch. When the cap is shut, the overlay is secured around the solid base. If an upward force is only applied to the thumb tab, and then the overlay is lifted up, while the solid base of the cap remains secured to the container.

A lock ring is mounted on one of the base and the lid for motion between a first position and a second position. At least one lock member is formed on the lock ring. At least one stationary lock member is formed on the other one of the base and the lid. The lock member is offset with respect to the stationary lock member when the lock ring is in the second position such that the lock member does not engage the stationary lock member.

Abstract: A child-resistant lift-top container is disclosed. The container includes a vessel, a lift-off inner cap and an outer locking cap. The outer locking cap engages the lift-off inner cap and is rotatable about the inner cap. The vessel includes a generally downwardly-facing abutment that engages an upwardly-facing abutment on the locking cap to lock the container and prevent the lift-off inner cap from opening. The container is opened by rotating the outer locking cap to disengage the abutments, permitting the lift-off inner cap to be lifted to open the container. The outer locking cap includes at least one spring that engages a spring-engaging surface on the vessel as the outer locking cap is rotated to assist in disengaging the abutments and to allow the outer locking cap to return to its closed and locked position.

Abstract: Collapsible storage device and system having a container with a planar section and side wall pivotably joined to the base so that the container is movable between a collapsed configuration in which the container is substantially flat and an expanded configuration defining a top opening and a side opening to an interior of the container. The storage device further includes a cover frame. Locking members are provided for securing the frame to the sidewall to close the top opening of the container and to form a rigid structure. The locking members include a complimentary shaped locking tooth and slot. The storage device is further provided with a closable flap or door which provides access to the interior of the container through the side opening when the container is in the expanded configuration.

The containers can be hermetically sealed without the utilization of linear sealing and capping. The container comprises a body portion and a lid portion operatively connected to the container portion with, for example, a living hinge. The container also comprises a gasket comprising built in compression and a positive lock, wherein the gasket and the positive lock operate in conjunction to produce an audible sound when the lid portion is engaged with the body portion. The gasket can be formed integral to the lid portion or the body portion, wherein the built in compression facilitates compression of the gasket to flip the positive lock into a secure position when the lid portion is engaged with the body portion.

Abstract: Disclosed are apparatus and methodology for securing access to an underground device such as a storage tank. A lockable blocking plate is secured to a filler cap for an underground storage tank in a manner to inhibit access to the filler cap. The locking mechanism is configured such that the lock and blocking plate may freely rotate with respect to the filler cap. The blocking plate may include a side skirt extending to cover portions of the filler cap and, optionally, portions of a standpipe and coupling for the filler cap. Free rotation is enabled by way of an annular groove in a portion of the locking mechanism, and into which groove one or more locking portions may be inserted, or by way of a freely moving swivel boss attached to the filler cap.

Abstract: A fuel sending unit protective cover assembly is disclosed, for protecting the fuel transducer module mounted to a fuel tank. The protective cover is associated with a locking ring. The locking ring engages the E-ring permanently secured to a fuel tank, by rotational engagement of the locking ring with one or more tabs protruding from the E-ring. The cover body with a plurality of descending legs is configured to engage ascending legs on the E-ring. The cover body is configured to permit installation and removal of the protective cover from the fuel tank without removal or disconnection of fluid conduits and electrical wiring.

Abstract: A method of closing a vessel includes using a flexible sealing device to form a seal between two container components of the vessel. The method also includes closing the vessel by locking together the two container components using a locking mechanism capable of bearing an end pressure load against the vessel when the vessel is in operation. The seal is formed and the vessel is closed so that the sealing device bears substantially none of the end pressure load when the vessel is in operation. This method can be adapted to work in relation to many vessel designs and both high and low pressure and temperature conditions.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method to determine the relative position of a container corner lock and/or a group of container corner locks in relation to other container corner locks. Abstract: The invention relates to a method for lifting containers (6), all containers (6) to be lifted being connected by means of locks (1). The method comprises the steps of by an external unit (2, 4) requesting a first piece of information regarding if the locks (1) that are arranged on a container to be lifted are locked or unlocked, requesting a second piece of information regarding one or more given requirements that the locks (1) to be lifted and are locked meet. The perimeter wall has an upper edge defining an opening extending into the container. The perimeter wall includes a rear wall, a first lateral wall, a second lateral wall, and a front wall. A pair of guides is provided. Each of the guides is attached to the upper edge of the perimeter wall and each of the first and second lateral walls has one of the guides attached thereto. A cover is slidably mounted to the container by the guides. The cover is positionable in a closed position extending from the back wall to the front wall or slid toward the back wall to expose the opening.

Abstract: Undesired access to a fuel oil fill pipe having a threaded cap fitting and a threaded cap is prevented by a fuel oil fill-port locking mechanism having: a coupling mateable with the fuel oil fill pipe; a nipple mateable with the coupling the cap fitting; an oil fill-port cover which denies access to the cap; a pair of oppositely disposed apertures in the coupling and a pair of alignable apertures in the cover; a lock pin sized to fit through the aligned aperture; a transverse bore through one end of the lock pin; and a lock pin stop at an opposite end of the lock pin. The cap and the cap fitting are removed from and the coupling is threaded onto the fuel oil fill pipe, the nipple is threaded into the coupling, then the cap fitting threaded into the nipple and the cap threaded into the cap fitting.

Abstract: A locking device for a portable terminal includes a body; a battery cover; and a locking unit for allowing the battery cover to be selectively attached or detached from the bottom of the body, wherein a locked or locking-released position of the battery cover provided by the locking unit is located to be concealed within the interior of the body, so that the locked or locking-released position is not exposed to the outside.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus and/or a system of laser marking of an interior cavity of a securing means of a substance container is disclosed. In one embodiment, a solid-state laser marking system to mark a securing means of a substance container includes a semiconductor laser to emit a pumping laser beam. The solid-state laser marking system also includes a resonator to create the laser beam that is then focused through a lens to mark the securing means of the substance container having a maximum diameter of 5 cm. Further, the solid-state laser marking system includes a solid-state laser crystal doped with a rare-earth element, to produce a laser beam in response to being pumped by the pumping laser beam and a laser resonator. The laser resonator is configured to focus the laser beam of a spot size of less than 150 microns and a beam quality of M2 less than 1.3.

Abstract: A closure for a pouch comprising: (a) a cylindrical sleeve having a first open end and a second open end, (b) a longitudinal slit in the cylindrical sleeve having a close end proximate to the first end of the cylindrical sleeve and an open end at the second end of the cylindrical sleeve; (c) a rod adapted to be arranged concentrically within the cylindrical sleeve having a first end and a second end, the first end of the rod being adapted to engage with the first end of the cylindrical sleeve; and (d) a child-proof lock adapted to be removably connected to the second end of the cylindrical sleeve or to the second end of the rod to block the open end of the longitudinal slit.
