The pie crust protector includes an annular section with a first flange segment and a second flange segment, each of which encompasses first grooves and first cut sections. The first grooves and the first cut sections allow each of the first flange segment and the second flange segment to easily flex and receive a pie and/or a pie pan. The pie crust protector includes a C-cross member segmented on the top and bottom sides. The annular section encloses the outer edge of the pie on three sides and the C-cross member encloses the remaining portion of the pie. The pie crust protector protects the outer edge of the pie during long bake times in standard or convection ovens, regardless of the location of a heating element.

The two hollow bodies are latched using assigned latchways (13-2 to 13-3), which are at least a first row of notches (6, 7) with at least one latch notch (5) disposed on one hollow body (3) and at least a second row of notches (9 through 12) with at least one latch notch (8) disposed on the other hollow body (2). Latchways are disengaged by twisting the two hollow bodies counter to one another about their longitudinal axes so that the latch notches of one latchway (13-3) reside within at least one slideway (14-2, 15-2), which is disposed on one hollow body (2) in a circumferential direction at a distance from the at least one latchway (13-2).

    Abstract: A system for catching and containing a spill of a liquid from a rail tank car consisting of a series of catch pans attached end-to-end and placed between the rails of a railroad track is provided. The end walls of each catch pan are shorter than its side walls, with the catch pans located at either end of the series having an end wall extension attached to raise the height of the end wall to that of the side walls. A sealing gasket is placed between adjacent catch pans, and at least one opening extends through the end walls and the sealing gasket between adjacent catch pans. A drain is located in the bottom of at least one of the catch pans.
