    Abstract: Reservoirs for fuel tanks, which can be filled via an opening that can be closed by a closing element, are already known. Such a closing element interacts with a sealing seat and is arranged on a bearing that is located in the region of the opening and is fixed to an edge area of the opening by at least two struts. In prior art, the opening, with the bearing and the struts, is often produced as a single-piece together with the reservoir and the base by injection molding. A disadvantage thereof is that the struts can undergo material shrinkage during production, which leads to a tension of the struts between the edge area of the opening and the bearing. This can lead to an irregular deformation and hence to an uneven sealing seat, so that the closing element does not seal in a tight manner and that the valve has a leak. in the reservoir according to the invention, the sealing of the opening is improved by at least one strut not having a rectilinear form, thus obtaining elastic expansion compensation.

A bladder type storage tank is fabricated by forming first and second shells, which when joined together at a center region of each shell, form a tank enclosure, the first shell having first and second openings therein away from the center region of the respective shell, coupling a bladder to the first opening in the first shell so that the bladder will be within the tank enclosure when the first and second shells are joined together at a center region of each shell, temporarily holding the bladder in a collapsed state away from the center region of the first shell with one or more strings and passing the strings through the second opening, welding the first and second shells together at the center region of each shell to form the tank enclosure, and withdrawing the strings to release the bladder.

A method for constructing a full containment LNG system is also provided. In one embodiment, walls and a roof for a secondary container are assembled, but leaving an end open. At least one primary tank is brought into the secondary container. A second end wall is then erected to form the enclosure for the secondary container.
