Abstract: Device for arranging and holding therein contaminated objects, particularly contaminated objects such as contaminated nappies. The device includes a container and a lid. The lid includes a hollow tube, open on at least an outer end, in which a body is arranged in reciprocally movable manner. The lid can pivot relative to the container between a first position, in which an object can be arranged in the tube from the outside, and a second position, in which the body can move downward in the tube under the influence of the force of gravity in order to push the object into the container. The device further includes a pedal and a releasing device, where the releasing device pivots the lid from the second position to the first position during a displacement of the pedal due to a pedal force exerted on the pedal.

An internal receptacle includes glass, is housed within the inner cavity of the external receptacle, and has a bottom and a side wall. An intermediate element, including plastic or elastomeric material, is interposed between the internal receptacle and the external receptacle. The side wall of the internal receptacle includes a ring having a free upper face and a lower contact surface. The intermediate element is interposed between the lower contact surface of the ring and a support surface on a collar at the upper end of the side wall of the external receptacle. The collar has a step-like seat open upwards and toward the inner cavity of the external receptacle and extending between an upper free face of an upper edge of the collar and the support surface.

Abstract: A disposable medical vacuum drainage bag includes a flexible enclosure made of a flexible material. The flexible enclosure is configured to define an interior chamber. The flexible enclosure has a first fluid port and a second fluid port. The flexible enclosure has a collapsed state and an expanded state. A framework is located in the interior chamber. The framework has a plurality of frame structures configured to rotate in unison about separate rotational axes between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, wherein the collapsed configuration facilitates the collapsed state of the flexible enclosure and the expanded configuration facilitates the expanded state of the flexible enclosure. An actuator is coupled to the framework. The actuator is configured to rotatably transition the plurality of frame structures between the collapsed configuration and the expanded configuration.

Abstract: An animal waste containment assembly includes a container that is positioned outdoors to be accessible to people walking their pets. A drawer is slidably integrated into the container and the drawer supports a garbage bag for collecting animal waste that is deposited in the container. A lid is hingedly coupled to the container and the lid covers the opening in the container when the lid is positioned in a closed position. A deodorizer dispenser is disposed on the lid to dispense a measured amount of the chemical deodorant when the lid is opened. A foot pedal is movably disposed in the container and a linkage is movably coupled between the foot pedal and the lid. The lid is urged into the open position when the foot pedal is stepped upon to facilitate the person to deposit the bagged animal waste into the container.

Abstract: A bracket is delineated for supporting a pool liner to form a framed pool. The bracket comprises an upper frame including a plurality of first supporting tubes. A plurality of second supporting tubes couple to the upper frame for vertically supporting the upper frame. A plurality of connectors couple the plurality of first supporting tubes to one another to form the upper frame and also couple the plurality of second supporting tubes to the upper frame wherein each connector of the plurality of connectors is coupled to the first supporting tubes via a press-fit connection without using pins or other retention members. A framed pool including the bracket is also delineated herein.

Abstract: A collar compression system is configured to press a shirt collar and restore the collar to its store-bought form. The open triangle press body is placed on the inside of the shirt collar. The open triangle press body can be made of plastic to hold the shape of the collar. The three separate press members are also made of plastic. One press member is located on the left, right and rear side of the open triangle body. In this embodiment, the living hinge may be made of plastic, metal, or a combination of both. The living hinges connect the press members to the open triangle press body. In one operation, the open triangle press body can be placed on the inside of the collar and the three press members may be placed over the top of the collar to compress the collar, which shapes the collar to its pressed form.

Abstract: A waste-basket-liner-bag-retaining apparatus including a pair of liner bag retaining apertures formed on opposing sides of a waste basket to receive and secure a waste basket liner bag. Reusable aperture covers can be secured over the apertures to occlude the apertures. A waste-basket-liner-bag-retaining apparatus includes hook inserts secured to either side of a waste basket to provide hooks for retaining an end of a waste basket liner bag. In another embodiment, two sets of magnets, each set formed within, or secured to inner surfaces of, opposing waste basket container walls of a waste basket container that secured magnetized hooks. A waste-basket-liner-bag-retaining apparatus includes apertures formed on opposing sides of a waste basket container, each with a retractable cover to secure portions of a liner bag in the apertures. The retractable covers may include rotatable bag retaining tabs.

Abstract: A container includes a base and a wall disposed about and attached to the base. The wall defines a rim spaced from the base, as well as a compartment extending between the base and the wall. A lid having an inner surface and an outer surface is coupled to the wall for covering the compartment. The container has a diverter bar for separating the compartment into at least two sections in a first position. The diverter bar has a body that extends between body ends, with the body releasably engaging the wall in the first position. A retainer attaches to the lid for receiving the diverter bar and securing the diverter bar to the lid to define a storage position. A lip extends outwardly from the body whereby the lip engages the retainer in response to the diverter bar being in the storage position.

A customized pool skimmer face plate system is also disclosed, including at least a skimmer face plate cover; a template having a size and shape proportional to the size and shape of the face plate cover; a water-resistant material bearing a color, pattern, or design; and a wrapper created from the water-resistant material using the template that complements neighboring colors, patterns and designs surrounding the skimmer face plate installation location.

An O-ring is compressed so that the opening portion is liquid-tightly sealed, which forms a sealed water storage space in a tank body. The portion of the lid that compresses the O-ring is a corner portion formed by an end surface of an annular plate portion and an outer peripheral surface of a tube portion. The portion of an inner liner that compresses the O-ring is a portion of the inner liner attached to an inclined surface. An end portion of the inner liner attached to the surface of a bulging portion is located outside the water storage space.

The upper lid portion extends downward to an outer lip. The lower lid portion extends downward to an inner lip. The inner lip is inward of the outer wall of the body portion when the lid is in the closed position. The outer lip is outward of the outer wall of the body when the lid is in the closed position.

Abstract: A waste disposal container of smaller shipping profile is disclosed with an inner rotating support structure and an outer casing, where the inner rotating support structure and/or the outer casing may be shipped in separable parts and reassembled by the end consumer. The inner rotating support structure also may offer at least one bag attachment points to hold on to the body of the bag where the bag attachment points are designed to be lower to accommodate collection of cat litter.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides vacuum insulated articles having two—or more—insulated volumes at reduced pressure. An article may include a first vent communicating with a first insulating space, a second vent communicating with a second insulating space, a first circular insulation seal sealing the first insulating space at the first vent; and a second circular insulation seal sealing the second insulating space at the second vent. Also provided are methods of fabricating vacuum insulated articles.

Abstract: A bag securing device is described that fits over the corner of a corner of a produce shipping container once a shipping bag contained therein has been opened and splayed over the edges of the container. By fitting the devices to each of the four corners of the container, a shipping bag is securely held therein substantially eliminating the risk of the bag being pulled from the container when the contents, such as lettuce, are dumped there from for further processing.

Abstract: Provided are exemplary embodiments of a trash container. The trash container for collecting trash or waste may include an outer container having a first cavity and an inner container being connected to the outer container and being positioned within the first cavity. The outer container may include a bottom first wall, opposing first walls, and a back first wall to define the first cavity. The inner container may include a bottom inner wall, opposing inner sidewalls, and a back inner wall to define a second cavity. A space between the walls of the outer container and the inner container would be created.

Abstract: A berm for receiving and retaining fluid is provided. The berm includes flexible impervious sheeting shaped to include a floor area surrounded with opposed end and side wall sections forming a containment area. The berm includes a plurality of A-frame braces arranged in vertical positions about the flooring for supporting the end and side wall sections. The retaining and support members are engaged with the brace members and the stabilizer members holding the end and side walls in generally elevated positions and in engagement with the braces forming the containment area.

However, current receptacles available to dispose of used personal care products fail to provide for a hygienic, easily accessible and discreet that is designed for small spaces, such as a home bathroom or public restroom stall.

Abstract: A trolley 2 for use in recyclable waste collection in an aircraft or other catering environment is conformal with a normal aircraft trolley. The trolley 2 comprises a horizontal tray 14 18 19 20 21 comprising a plurality of horizontal apertures, each aperture comprising a rubbish bag 19 20 held therein by its edges 22 between a tray base 14 and tray cover 18 that snap together. Before use the rubbish bags 19 20 are contained within the horizontal tray 14 18 19 20 and are freed to hang vertically within the trolley 2 when in use. The trolley 2 comprises a retractable lid which covers the tray assembly 14 18 19 20 21 when the trolley 2 is not in use. A liquid waste container 21 also fits into the tray and is independently removable for emptying without removing rubbish bags 19 20. The apertures and/or the rubbish bags 19 20 are colour coded according to the type of waste they are intended to receive and according to the colour coding employed in the country where recycling is intended to occur.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container (1) having a hollow shell defining a body with a dispensing aperture, and a bag (4) within the shell (2), the open end of the bag extending through the dispensing aperture and being secured with respect to the outside of the shell. The bag (4) is made from a material suitable for containing the intended contents of the container (1). Therefore the shell (2) may be formed from a material that would not be suitable for containing the intended contents of the container alone. The shell (2) may be formed from a biodegradable material, such as wood or paper pulp. The bag (4) may be separated from the main body of the container to allow for separate disposal. The container (1) may be sealed by providing a spout through which the contents of the container are to be dispensed, and by folding the spout over to create a nip which seals the container.

Abstract: Waste disposal devices and methods are provided. The device includes a housing, a lid, a bucket frame, a pair of members, and a foot pedal. The foot pedal is operatively associated with the lid and the pair of members so that the lid is in the closed position and the pair of members is in the non-use position when the foot pedal is in the upper position. Further, the foot pedal is operatively associated with the lid and the pair of members so that the lid is in the open position and the pair of members is in the use position when the foot pedal is in the lower position.

Abstract: An apparatus including a liner ring, configured with a wall, to fit within the container so that the liner ring remains in place at a defined distance within the container based on a dimension of the container and a dimension of the liner ring, and a sealant attached to an outer surface of the liner ring configured to contact an inner surface of the container and form a seal is disclosed. Arrangement of a liner with an opening having ends being placed around the liner ring provides for the ends to the opening of the liner being located between the ring liner and container within the container. A system and method are also disclosed.

Abstract: A film-supporting device is used with a waste-disposal unit. The device comprises an annular body. The annular body has an annular wall. The inward radial surface of the wall defines a central opening of the body. The outline of the central opening in a transverse plane of the device has variable diametrical dimensions with a first diameter of greater dimension than the second diameter. The outline has two of the first diameter of generally equal dimension and two of the second diameter of generally equal dimension. The device has tubular film about an outward radial surface of the annular body. A free annular end is dispensed outwardly from the annular wall. The free annular end is closed to form a bag. The opening of the bag is accessible through the central opening and is of optimized shape via the central opening for the disposal of waste. A method for disposing of waste on a scooping tool is also provided.

The container is further provided with a top flange which receives a corresponding liner flange on the liner to seal the separate or connected bottom and wall annulus and facilitate development of a vacuum in the bottom annulus and wall annulus or both and in the liner by operation of the air blower.

Abstract: A waste-disposal device for use with a bag unit of the type having an annular component from which a free end of tube extends to form a bag. The waste-disposal device comprises a bin having an open top end for accessing an inner cavity of the bin. A support is in the bin adjacent to the open top end and adapted to support the annular component of the bag unit for waste to be received in the bag of the bag unit extending in the inner cavity of the bin, by passing through a central opening thereof. A closing mechanism comprises a door pivotally connected to the support by at least one pivot and an abutment surface in the bin, a pivot axis of the at least one pivot being located at a same height or higher than a bottommost edge of the annular component of the bag unit when received in the support and when the bin has a bottom thereof on the ground.

A retainer is pivotally attached to the canister and has a rim that inserts into the aperture of the retainer frame to retain the trash bag. A lid having a hole which aligns with the aperture of the retainer frame is pivotally attached to the canister for allowing the lid to pivot between a closed position covering the opening and an open position. A slid door is coupled to the lid and is slidable between a closed position and an open position.

The closure component includes a support portion defining an opening through which a bag is partly inserted into the compartment and then into which waste is insertable. Abstract: Embodiments described herein are related to a reusable grocery bag with a set of disposable liners coupled to an inner surface of the reusable grocery bag. Embodiments disclosed herein utilize disposable liners to reduce, limit or eliminate the spread of bacteria and germs while a consumer is shopping for various items. In embodiments, the disposable liner may be comprised of biodegradable materials.

Abstract: The present invention provides a recyclable composite container. The recyclable composite container comprises a cardboard hollow body having an open end defining an opening. The body is formed by a sidewall having an inwardly rolled rim at the open end. The container also comprises a framing element which is removably connectable to the open end of the cardboard hollow body. The framing element has a peripheral portion and a hook-shaped connector linked to this peripheral portion. The connector is for engaging with the inwardly rolled rim of the cardboard hollow body. Such construction thereby allows connection of the framing element to the cardboard hollow body by hooking the connector to the rim of the cardboard hollow body, and disconnection of the framing element from the cardboard hollow body by pulling the framing element so as to disengage the connector from the rim.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating hygienic storage and disposal of waste packages such as used disposable diapers include a housing, a lid, and a bag unit having a bag frame and an attached single use flexible bag. The flexible bag is pleated and larger in cross-section at a lower portion than it is at the connection to the bag frame. The bag frame is releasably mounted to the housing so that it will not rotate. The lower portion of the flexible bag is positioned in a storage chamber of the housing that is shaped so as to align and center the bag. A rotatable member having radially extending flexible fingers is engaged with an intermediate portion of the bag. When the lid is closed, the rotatable member will twist the intermediate portion of the bag, sealing odors in the lower portion of the bag. A parent or caregiver will push the waste package through the resistance of the twisted intermediate portion into the lower portion of the bag, and close the lid to re-seal the twisted portion.

Abstract: A recycling bin has left and right sidewalls, a base, and front wall. The front wall is lower than the other three walls, and when two bins are stacked in a 0° stacking configuration, the lower front wall of the lower bin and a sloped surface on the lower portion of the upper bin create a recyclable receiving chute. When stacked, the upper bin is held to the lower bin by a combination of a channel on the lower rear portion of the base fitting over a handle resting upon an upper portion of the rear wall. A lower lip on the lower portion of the rear wall aligns with the handle and substantially prevents front-wards and backwards motion of the upper bin. A portion of the handle fits within a top open portion of the rear wall. The bin also has a plurality of inverted “V” shaped liner retainers.
