Abstract: Disclosed is a pressostatic odor control cover for slurry treatment tank with a device for reducing the inner volume occupied by harmful and malodorous gases emitted from the surface of the slurry. The treatment tank is delimited by a base and by lateral containment walls. The cover includes: a gas impermeable flexible membrane; a gas-tight continuous fixing unit of a margin of the membrane to the tank; an insufflation unit of air inside the cover; and a discharge valve of the air out of the cover. The odor control cover also includes a diaphragm permeable to liquids and to gases, arranged to delimit a reduced volume of the odor control cover available to the harmful gases and to the malodorous substances released from the slurry. The air insufflation unit is connected to the cover above the diaphragm. The discharge valve is connected to the cover below the diaphragm.

Abstract: A garbage can riser system for facilitating a flip lid on a garbage can to be opened when the garbage can is full includes a garbage can that has a top end. A riser is provided and the riser is positionable on the top end of the garbage can for increasing a functional height of the garbage can. A flip lid is positionable on the riser such that the flip lid is spaced above garbage contained in the garbage can. In this way the entire volume of the garbage can be filled with garbage without having the flip lid contacting the garbage when the flip lid is opened.

Abstract: A waste or recycling container system is disclosed. The container system includes a container and a rigid liner for inserting into the container. The liner includes a supporting structure provided on a wall of the liner. The liner also includes bag retention structures. The liner is capable of being placed in the container in a first position and a second position. In the first position, the bag retention structures are below an opening of the container. In the second position, the supporting structure rests on a resting portion of the container walls and the liner is elevated with respect to the first position such that the bag retention structures are above the opening of the container.

Abstract: An apparatus for securely holding a flexible material has a first securing member has a first outer circumference and a first shape, and a second securing member having a second inner circumference and a second shape Wherein the second inner circumference is about the same size, or slightly smaller than, the first member's first outer circumference, such that the second member positioned upon the first member creates static friction between the first outer circumference and the second inner circumference. The apparatus has a backing support that is in physical connection with, or incorporated as part of, either the first member or the second member. A thin flexible material, such as a plastic waste bag, placed between the first member and the second member is secured by positioning the first member and second member together, the positioning and static friction not shearing the flexible material.

The receptacle may include a compartment enclosed by walls of the trash receptacle, the compartment being the enclosure for receiving trash, two parallel and planar horizontal bars or rods within the compartment, with the bars or rods being structurally configured to receive and dispense garbage bags. The receptacle may also have a lid over the compartment, the lid providing access into the compartment.

Abstract: An adaptor, system, and method for collecting for a breast pump. A breast milk bag has a hole adjacent an end margin. The bag can have a reclosable seal and a zone of weakness for separating a sealed portion from a header. An adaptor has inlet end and an outlet end and defines a flow passage. The inlet end is securable to the outlet of the breast pump so liquid therefrom can flow through the flow passage. A slot extends through the adaptor wall to at least partially define a retainer for extending through the hole to mount the bag on the adapter. In a method of use, the bag is secured to the adaptor using the retainer, filled with breast milk, sealed while secured to the adaptor, and the sealed portion of the bag can be removed by tearing the bag along the zone of weakness.

A hood attached to the lid surrounds the opening. An aperture in the hood allows passage of the packaging into the lid opening. The hood includes rear, right, left, and top walls. RF absorbing material covers inside surfaces of the chute and hood, including a front panel on the chute front wall, a rear panel on the hood rear wall and the chute rear wall, a left side panel on the hood left side wall and the chute left side wall, a right side panel on the hood right side wall and the chute right side wall, and a top panel on the hood top.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein are related to a reusable grocery bag with a set of disposable liners coupled to an inner surface of the reusable grocery bag. Embodiments disclosed herein utilize disposable liners to reduce, limit or eliminate the spread of bacteria and germs while a consumer is shopping for various items. In embodiments, the disposable liner may be comprised of biodegradable materials.

Abstract: A waste bag dispenser system is described which is comprised of track guides known as rails, and a replaceable waste bag cartridge attached to the bottom of the rails, which are preferably surrounded by screen walls. The waste bag cartridge stores a plurality of waste bags stacked on top of each other, connected temporarily in sequence. Each waste bag has multiple connecting tabs (T-bar tabs) affixed to the bag which align with and insert into a slot in the rails such that the tabs may only exit the slot from the top of the rails. The rails and waste bag cartridge are held in an aligned arrangement via either a clasping mechanism or a surrounding structure which inhibits the movement of both elements. Waste bags are pulled up from the waste bag cartridge to the top of the rails and held in place via at least one hook.

Abstract: An ostomy closure is disclosed for sealing an ostomy pouch after use and removal from an ostomy mounting plate. The ostomy mounting plate is secured to an individual. The ostomy closure comprises a cap body defining an interior surface and an exterior surface extending to a peripheral edge. A cap flange is coupled to the peripheral edge of the cap body and extends from the interior surface of the cap body. A cap locking member is integral to the cap flange. A cap lip defining an interior surface and an exterior surface extends from the cap flange for manipulating the cap body and the cap flange. The cap flange couples with a pouch flange of the ostomy pouch for defining a sealing closure for maintaining the stool and the stool odor within the ostomy chamber and a locking closure for preventing inadvertent removal of the cap flange from the pouch flange.

Abstract: A bag holder for holding a t-shirt bag includes a holder frame and a holder handle that is secured to the holder frame. The holder frame selectively holds the t-shirt bag and including a first handle restraint that restrains a first bag handle of the t-shirt bag, a second handle restraint that restrains a second bag handle of the t-shirt bag, and a bag support region that supports the t-shirt type bag near the bag opening. The holder handle is movable relative to the holder frame between a carrying position in which the holder handle is used for carrying the holder frame and the t-shirt bag, and an attachment position in which that holder handle is used for hanging the holder frame and the t-shirt bag near a vertical surface.

Abstract: A cartridge for storing a flowable substance in a bulk container is disclosed. The cartridge includes a shell having a breakable score line and configured to sit inside the bulk container and a bag positioned within the shell and configured to be filled with the flowable substance. The bag has a port for introducing the flowable substance into the bag and a drain spout in fluid communication with the bag, allowing the flowable substance to be drained from the bag after filling. The breakable score line is configured to separate due to force exerted on the shell as the bag is filled, allowing the bag to expand inside the bulk container. A method of filling a bulk container with a flowable substance using the cartridge is also disclosed.

Abstract: A carton includes a pivoting recloseable lid that is easy to open and recluse. The recloseable lid includes a breachable closure aperture section that can be adapted to receive a portion of a bag or other flexible container accommodated within the carton. When the lid is opened, the contents of the flexible container can be dispensed.

Abstract: A corrugated bulk container for shipping, storing and dispensing liquids and semi-liquid fluids. The container is a laminated triple wall open-ended tube having side walls and end walls, and a bag assembly is supported in the tube for containing the liquid or semi-liquid fluid. The bag assembly includes a bag having a fill valve and a dispensing valve attached to it, a bag cassette to which a bottom end of the bag is attached, and a fill valve support plate to which a top end of the bag is attached. The bag cassette has structure to receive and hold the dispensing valve in position relative to a dispensing valve opening in the tube, and the fill valve support plate has structure to receive and support the fill valve. The container is attached to a pallet by severable structure, and the fill valve support plate is attached to the tube by severable structure so that the bag assembly can be removed from the container, for easy collapse of the container for disposal or recycling.

Abstract: A collapsible storage container having a body of flexible material, a top frame defining an opening to the body's interior, and a top cover of flexible material, suitable for use in confined spaces and for stacking. A removable support panel of rigid material can be inserted into the body interior. A support bar made of rigid material can be attached to the interior of the top frame such that a portion of each of the lateral plates of the support panel is secured between the support bar and the sides of the storage container body. Preferably, a grip is attached to a top seam of the container to facilitate moving the storage container.

Abstract: A bag for lining a trash or other receptacle having an interior cavity accessed through an aperture in the elevated rim of the receptacle. The bag features a sealed first end adapted to be positioned at the bottom of the receptacle interior cavity and a sidewall extending to an opening at a second end adapted for positioning on the rim of the receptacle. The opening is formed for a distance less than the diameter of the bag and is stretchable to fit over the rim of the receptacle in a biased engagement therewith.

Abstract: A trash container allows disposable plastic shopping bags to be reused as trash bags. The trash container has at least two hooked projection members attached to the exterior of the trash container for removable attachment of the disposable shopping bags to the trash container. In an alternate embodiment, a resilient band with attached hooked projection members can be used on existing trash containers.

Abstract: A sanitary napkin disposal assembly including a cartridge having an internal storage compartment with an opening at one end, with retaining means for supporting a bag within the storage compartment. There is a rod having an open position, in which a top surface of the rod is accessible, and a closed position in which said rod is housed within the storage compartment, such that when a sanitary napkin is disposed of by being placed on the top surface of the rod in the open position, with the bag subsequently unfolding in a longitudinal extending action into the storage compartment, with the retaining means capturing the sanitary napkin therein the bag, as the rod moves to the closed position.

Abstract: A waste container includes an outer container and an inner container removably mounted in the outer container. The inner container includes a body and two handles. The body of the inner container includes a peripheral wall delimiting an opening. The peripheral wall includes two engaging sections on two opposite portions thereof. Each handle includes two ends pivotally coupled to the engaging sections respectively. Each handle is pivotable to an upward position allowing carriage of the inner container. Each handle is pivotable to a resting position for retaining a peripheral edge of a bag mounted in the inner container.

Abstract: A trash receptacle is provided with retaining elements that project outwardly and downwardly from the upper comer portions of the receptacle. Flexible trash bags having openings in the upper comer portions thereof are used to line the trash receptacle. The retaining elements project through openings in a bag for retaining the bag in lined relation within the receptacle. A drawer is provided in a compartment in the lower portion of the receptacle for use in containing a supply of bags therein.

Abstract: A self-standing disposable receptacle comprises a bin fabricated from disposable material which is rigid enough to be self standing. A plastic sheath is attached to either the inner or outer wall surfaces of the bin. The plastic sheath is provided with handles so that the receptacle may be tied when filled.

Abstract: A garbage bag system for facilitating efficient changing of garbage bags within a garbage container. The garbage bag system includes a plurality of nested bags positionable within a container and attachable to a securing member. The nested bags have at least one aperture, a perforation extending from the aperture, and a slit extending from the perforation to an edge of the nested bags thereby forming a tab portion. The aperture is formed for being positioned upon the securing member thereby preventing the nested bags from falling into the container. The aperture is preferably formed utilizing a hot pinning technique. To remove the inner most bag within the nested bags, the user grasps the tab portion and pulls upwardly thereby tearing the perforation which allows the bag to be removed from the securing member and disposed of.

Abstract: A liquid container includes a tote having a through outlet and a false bottom member or under-tote cavity member. The false bottom member is storable in the tote, and the under-tote cavity member is attachable to the tote. A locking collar is provided for interfacing with the through hole. The locking collar is removable from the through hole. The false bottom and the under-tote cavity member facilitate access to an evacuation member attached to a liner stored within the tote.
