Abstract: The table serving tray may be a pair of tray elements that are interlocked together at an adjoining wall portion of a wall that is attached to a base. The adjoining wall portion of each tray may have an approximately semicircular cross section lip interlocking element on a portion of an upper edge of the adjoining wall portion. Each adjoining wall portion may have a centrally disposed channel that form a hole when the pair of tray elements are interlocked to place the tray on a table and around an upstanding projection thereof.

Abstract: A nestable multiple compartment tray (10) for faux painting material and applicators is provided. The tray (10) comprises a rigid one-piece monolithic housing which comprises a bottom wall structure (11) presenting an outer perimeter defined by a plurality of spaced bottom wall segments (12) and a sidewall (14). The tray (10) is further comprised of a series of first divider walls (22 and 24) and at least one second divider wall (26). The sidewall (14) has a plurality of sidewall segments (15) which present front (16), rear (18), and opposing side (20) sections. The divider walls (22, 24, 26) cooperate with the sidewall segments (15) and bottom wall segments (12) to present individual fore (28) and aft (30) compartments. The fore compartments (28) are suited for receiving faux painting applicators and the aft compartments (30) are suited for receiving paint. Each divider wall (22, 24, 26) is constructed with at least partially spaced wall portions (32) which present corresponding cavities (34) therebetween.

Abstract: A divided storage container includes an elongated arcuate base having first and second rounded ends, and opposing inwardly and outwardly curved perimeter portions extending between the ends. An upstanding container wall cooperates.with the base to define an enclosure having an open top for receiving items for storage. The container wall has a concave surface extending upwardly from the inwardly curved perimeter portion of the base to the open top of the enclosure. A vertical divider is attached to the container wall for dividing the enclosure into separate adjacent compartments. A supplemental item holder is attached to the concave surface of the container wall outside of the enclosure, and defines a third compartment for receiving and storing items. The first and second ends of the arcuate base cooperate to stabilize the container on a supporting surface when the third compartment is filled.

Abstract: A housing for suturing tools including a cylindrical housing having an upper end, a lower end, a cylindrical side wall therebetween, and a hollow interior. The cylindrical housing has a central dividing wall disposed within the hollow interior extending between the upper and lower ends. The central dividing wall equally divides the cylindrical housing into a first section and a second section. The cylindrical side wall of the first section has an opening therethrough positioned intermediate the upper and lower ends thereof. The cylindrical side wall of the second section has at least one opening therethrough adjacent to the lower end thereof.

Abstract: A drinking vessel is provided having the dual purpose of providing in addition to drinking therefrom to also smell the aroma emitted from the drink by providing the drinking vessel with at least one inner element inside the drinking vessel dividing the drinking vessel into drinking compartment from which a drink can be sipped and providing an aroma compartment from which the aroma of the drink can be smelled while drinking from the drinking compartment and that the drinking compartment and the aroma compartment have different configurations.

Abstract: A ice fishing implement caddy for holding a plurality of ice fishing implements. The ice fishing implement caddy includes a frame having a bottom wall, a first end wall, a second end wall and a top wall. The top wall has a plurality of openings extending therethrough. A slot extends through the top wall and is positioned generally adjacent to the first end wall. The frame has a height generally between 14 inches and 18 inches. A dividing wall is attached to and extends upwardly from the bottom wall. The dividing wall is attached to the second end wall and extends toward the first end wall. Each of a plurality of intermediate walls traverses the bottom wall and extends between a first side edge and a second edge of the bottom wall such that compartments are defined between adjacent intermediate walls. A portion of the intermediate walls extend through the dividing wall such that compartments are defined within said frame.

Abstract: The present invention provides a storage pod for storing equipment and parts for use in underground mining operations, said storage pod being self supporting and removable from a transport or operational vehicle whereupon said pod is carried in use, said pod comprising a generally rectilinear body which forms an open topped upper compartment having a front wall, a rear wall, side walls and a floor, and a lower compartment located below said floor, said lower compartment being divided into a series of elongated storage slots, said slots being accessible from the front and/or rear of the pod. The invention also provides an underground mining machine in assembly with a pod of the type described above, the vehicle and pod having cooperating locking formations thereon for releasably locking the pod the vehicle for the duration of a mining operation and adapted to allow removal of the pod from the vehicle and replacement thereof with another pod as and when required in use.

Abstract: A cooking pot with internal dividers defining compartments to segregate food being prepared therein is disclosed. Each compartment acts as an autonomous cooking pot, sealed from the other compartments. A lid may be used to cover a portion of the pot, usually corresponding to one of the compartments, so that one compartment is covered and another compartment is uncovered. The cooking pot is of conventional external dimensions, so that a standard lid may be used to cover all of the internal compartments. Various configurations of the cooking pot allow for from two to several internal dividers to form from two to several internal compartments, respectively.

Abstract: An inventive partitioned closed container comprises a cylindrical main body, a partition provided within said main body in a body therewith along the longitudinal direction thereof and lids for closing openings of the main body. The lids are joined with the main body and the partition by means of frictional agitating joining or laser welding. Thereby, it is possible to realize a good joining condition and to assure reliability in terms of strength without increasing the weight and the cost.

Abstract: A microwave steam tray is made of a thermo-formed co-polymer polypropylene quality food grade plastic. The microwave steam tray comprises a plastic container having a dish portion and a connected lid. The dish portion includes a bottom surface with four sidewalls extending therefrom to define a dish interior. A plurality of ribs are raised from the bottom surface to provide a cooking plane. Steam channels are formed between the ribs. The ribs extend radially from a moisture reservoir positioned within the dish interior. The moisture reservoir includes a retaining wall having a cup portion formed within the retaining wall. Recesses are formed within the retaining wall. Liquid based food products may be placed in the moisture cylinder during cooking. Steam generated from the moisture reservoir easily travels down the radial steam channels.

Abstract: A compartmentalized cookware system for cooking a plurality of different food items in a single container. The compartmentalized cookware system includes at least one cooking containers having a bottom wall, a perimeter side wall upwardly extending around the bottom wall, and an upper edge defining an open top into the respective cooking container. The cooking container has at least one dividing wall therein upwardly extending from the bottom wall of the respective cooking container and dividing the cooking container into a plurality of cooking compartments.

Abstract: A two-chamber container including an integrally injection-molded main body having an upward opened inner chamber and an downward opened outer chamber surrounding or below the inner chamber. The inner chamber has a first annular flange vertically upward extending along an outer periphery of its opening. The upward opening of the inner chamber may be selectively closed with an upper cover. The upper cover may be differently designed for the two-chamber container to provide different usage depending on actual need. But the upper cover always includes a second annular flange vertically downward extending along an inner periphery thereof, such that the second annular flange is tightly fitted in the first annular flange when the upper cover is closed into the upward opening of the inner chamber of the main body. A bottom plate is plastically welded to the downward opening of the outer chamber, so that a dual-liquid and floating ornaments may be contained in the outer chamber for display and decoration purpose.

Abstract: A container is disclosed, including an outer shell with an integral handle and two flexible bags within the outer shell. The outer shell has a top, a bottom and sidewalls. The outer shell also defines two openings on opposing walls. Each of the bags within the outer shell defines an aperture sealed to and surrounded by a mouth, which defines a fluid passageway from the interior of the corresponding mouth to the outside of the container. The mouth is sized and shaped such that fluid can be poured through the mouth from a source having an outlet spaced above the mouth. The handle extends outwardly from the top of the outer shell and has sufficient strength to provide essentially all support for the container when the bags are filled with liquid in either of two positions: in the first position, one of the openings is facing upwards; in the second position, each of the openings is facing sideward.

Abstract: A paint apparatus is disclosed having a plurality of trays for use with a paint roller. A paint reservoir within each tray retains the paint. A grid portion is integrally formed in a lower surface of the paint apparatus, and has a plurality of channels and/or projections. The channels are curved, thereby providing increased surface area for the paint roller. The paint apparatus is also included in a kit containing paint application devices, practice paper, and instructional materials. The paint apparatus is further provided with a metering system which includes a plurality of grids and a mesh structure. The stackable grids are placed within the paint reservoir and permit the paint to wick up to a top surface of the stackable grids. During use of the apparatus, a user fills the paint reservoir with paint to a point below the top surface of the stackable grids. The user the rolls the rolling device over the grids, thereby loading the nap portion with paint.

Abstract: A partitioned storage tube for tip-ups and other ice fishing accessories including an elongated, cylindrical body partitioned into five separate tip-up storage compartments for storing and protecting tip-ups when not in use. A structure for protecting the tip-up reels is incorporated into the body. Elastic straps provide an adjustable means of securing a cover to the body. A cylindrical interior compartment is accessible through an access opening in the cover to store ice fishing accessories that may be longer than the tube. Drain apertures in the bottom of each tip-up storage compartment facilitate the removal of excess moisture. The storage tube is made of a durable plastic material so it could be used as a stool when standing upright with the cover on.

Abstract: A process produces a tubular body with at least one dividing wall extending across its length and forming longitudinal chambers disposed next to each other. A foil strip is used whereby a dividing-wall strip or a section of dividing-wall strip is cut to length and is fastened at its lateral outer edges on the foil strip or section of the foil strip, with parallel alignment with the foil strip or section of foil strip. The lateral edges of the foil strip or section of foil strip are then joined with each other thereby either directly forming a tubular body or forming an endless tube, from which tubular bodies are then cut to length. The tube is then solidly joined with a tube head having a dividing bridge conforming to the arrangement of the dividing wall in the tubular body. The tube head has a dispensing aperture closable by a closure.

Abstract: A beverage package and a method of forming such a package defines a primary chamber containing an insert defining a secondary chamber. The insert has a seating in the form of a bore within which is received the lower end of a tube which is fitted to the insert. When the package is charged with beverage such as beer having gas in solution and sealed to form a headspace containing gas at a pressure greater than atmospheric, beer from the primary chamber fills the tube. The secondary chamber contains beverage and gas at a pressure greater than atmospheric and on opening the container the headspace de-pressurises causing beverage and gas from the secondary chamber to be ejected through the tube. A restricted aperture between the bottom end of the tube and an opposing wall of the insert causes froth to be developed in the beverage in the secondary chamber as the beverage flows into the bottom end of the tube. The frothy beverage then flows through the tube into the headspace.

Abstract: A bifurcated paint roller and painting method using such. The paint roller is a hand tool having two roller portions, which each of the roller portions having a nap for picking up and spreading paint. The roller portions are spaced transversely from each other and rotate independently of the other. A paint pan is provided with the bifurcated paint roller and is itself bifurcated. The paint pan includes two receptacle portions, each of which holds a paint having a different characteristic. A divider separates the receptacle portions such that the paints having the different characteristics are prevented from mixing. The distal end of the hand tool includes an open ended slot for reception of the divider such that each of the roller portions is dippable into their respective paints. Alternatively, the hand tool may include tubes mounted thereon and feeding paint to the roller portions.

Abstract: Devices are described for fitting into pressurized individually packaged beverages (typically canned beers, ales and stouts), by which gas at high pressure is stored within the package for jetting into the beverage as the package is opened to atmosphere. One embodiment comprises a length of tube (10) having a gas jetting orifice (14) which in use is submerged below the beverage in a pressurized can having a gaseous headspace, which can be used to charge the tube with gas during the passage of the filled can (16) along a conventional canning line, on which the can is inverted after filling which brings the orifice into the gaseous headspace.

Abstract: When dispensing carbonated beverages, particularly beers and especially draught stout, it is desirable to obtain a close-knit creamy head. To achieve this a container (1) includes a separate closed hollow insert (5) containing substantially no oxidising gas and means (6) responsive to opening of the container (1) to provide communication between the inside of the insert (5) and beverage (7) contained in the body of the container (1) upon opening it to jet gas from the insert (5) into the beverage (7). The means (6) preferably has the form of a pressure responsive valve. The insert (5) may be arranged so that its internal pressure is increased after the container (1) is sealed or the means (6) may have a different relief pressure when initially inserted into the container (1) from that upon opening the container (1).

Abstract: A thin type ink jet cartridge consists of a passageway for holding ink, a thin type ink holder made of transparent material for accommodating the passageway, a graded scale put on the thin type of ink holder to quantitatively check the volume of the ink held in the passageway, ribs for structurally reinforcing the thin type ink holder, nozzles for discharging the ink held in the passageway at a recording paper, a shutter for covering the shutter when the ink is not discharged from the nozzles, a protecting plate for protecting the recording paper from contact with the nozzles by surrounding the nozzles positioned at a concave portion surrounded by the protecting plate.

Abstract: A beverage package has a can 1 within a primary chamber 5 to which is located an insert 6 having a secondary chamber 10. The insert has a bore 11 within which is received a lower end of a capilliary tube 15. The can 1 contains beverage such as beer 20 having gas in solution and sealed to form a headspace 21 containing gas at a pressure greater than atmospheric. The tube 15 contains beverage and its upper end opens into the headspace 21. The secondary chamber 10 contains gas at a pressure greater than atmospheric and on opening of the container the headspace 21 de-pressurises causing beverage and/or gas from the chamber 10 to displace beverage through the restriction of the capilliary tube 15 directly into the headspace 21 causing froth to develop in the headspace.

Abstract: A system for separating waste by type and collecting the separated wastes, preserving the integrity of the separation during the collection and consolidation, comprising a multi-compartment inside container for the initial separation, an outside container that interfaces with the inside container so that the separated contents of the latter can be dumped into the former, a mobile collection unit that transfers the separated wastes from the outside container to a plurality of bins, again preserving the separation, and transports the waste to a distribution facility. The volume of the separated waste is reduced by the collection vehicle as it is dumped through hatches on the top of the vehicle into chutes that lead to the appropriate bin for that type of waste. The collection vehicle grips, lifts and inverts the outside container, made up of three subcontainers, and then separates them so that each can be positioned over and aligned with a different hatch on the top of the vehicle.

Abstract: The invention is a sidewall for a cargo vessel having a seamless, snag-free interior liner. The wall includes an exterior skin that is rivetted to a first side of a supporting sidepost, and a seamless, snag-free interior liner that is mounted to the second side of the sidepost. The method for making the sidewall includes rivetting the exterior skin to the first side of the supports, and then gluing the seamless interior liner material to the second side of the supports with or without tension, and so that the interior liner is not at all pierced by fasteners, or only pierced in areas that are not likely to contact cargo. In a preferred embodiment, the interior liner is mounted to the second side of the supports under tension to maximize the interior liners' ability to absorb and deflect cargo impact and remain snag-free, sag-free and puncture resistant.

Abstract: In a portable container having a receptacle adapted to receive liquid, the receptacle having an opening on the upper surface of the container for both receiving and discharging liquid. In the preferred embodiment, the portable container also has a second set of receptacles adapted to receive powders, each receptacle extending between the upper and lower surfaces of the container, having an opening on the lower surface for receiving the powders and an opening on the upper surface for discharging the powders.

Abstract: An autoclave tray for the sterilization of medical and/or dental instruments, equipment and appliances includes an autoclave tray which is configured with a uniform row and column pattern of crossed-slot sterilant apertures each of which have a geometric center, the pattern being generally uniform in its overall spacing between such geometric centers. Selectively installed in selected ones of the sterilant apertures are instrument holders which begin as extruded lengths of material which are then cut to the desired length and shaped with appropriate relief for the receipt of the items to be autoclaved. The holders are loaded into selected sterilant apertures by pressing an enlarged base portion of the holders into and through the sterilant apertures. By the use of the crossed-slot apertures the holders can be arranged either vertically or horizontally in a top plan orientation or may actually be used at right angles to each other allowing items to be autoclaved to be installed diagonally.

Abstract: A portable tool container including a cylindrically shaped base with a flat bottom and sides defining an upwardly opening main compartment. A plurality of trays are affixed to the sides of the base in stacked relationship for pivotal movement between a closed position overlying the main compartment and an open position in which the trays operate as counterweights to maintain the base securely in an upright position. A cover attached to an upper one of the trays and pivotal between a closed position overlying the upper one of the trays and an open position allowing access to all of the trays. A tubular member affixed within the main compartment and positioned to be coaxial with coaxial openings in the trays and the cover in the closed position and to receive an elongated tubular tank for a torch, the tank locking the trays and the cover in the closed position.

Abstract: A fork segregating partitioning array for use with a fondue pot. The fondue pot is of the type defining a container with a large cavity to receive meltable foodstuff to be warmed by a heating source. The partitioning array consists of a cup member, freely releasably engageable into the container large cavity, and at least two partitioning walls disposed in crossing fashion relative to one another, whereby four distinct subcavities are defined within the cup member. The subcavities are for use in segregating a corresponding number of forks in cooking fondues such as meat fondue or chinese fondue. The cup member is further pierced by a plurality of through-bores, for free passage of the meat soup between the fondue pot and the cup member and vice-versa.

A large space is defined between the other side surface of the end portion and the other side wall of the groove opposing the former, through a thick spacer, and the sealing material is set in a thick form in this space.

Abstract: Cash drawer system for a point-of-sale terminal having a housing, a latchable drawer, and a mechanism for forcing the drawer outward. The drawer slides on a pair of slides positioned beneath the drawer, and the drawer is latchable to the slides by latches located in the front of the drawer. Orienting features of the slide and drawer cooperate to orient the drawer for latching during drawer insertion. The drawer is also laterally movable on the slides, which prevents jamming, binding and racking of the drawer if the slides are in a non-parallel position. A central portion of the drawer may be lower than the edges to provide increased media space below a cash till.

Abstract: A case having a base and a cover is disclosed. The base and cover are releasably secured to one another in a first position such that the base and cover may be moved axially and may be pivoted with respect to one another. The base and cover are permanently secured to one another in a second position such that the base and cover may be pivoted with respect to one another. The respective movements of the base and cover in the first and second position enables the case to be displayed in a fully open condition allowing the consumer to view the product within the case.

In the construction of FIGS. 2 and 3, an unapertured blow-off cap (8) is fitted on an annular rib (15) formed on a partition wall (12) of the can, the cap normally covering fine holes (13) in the partition wall, air under super-atmospheric pressure in gas reservoir (13) bubbling into beer in the main chamber (6) when the cap blows off the rib (15) on opening of the can top.

Abstract: A high security tamper evident package for the shipping and storing of a variety of highly proprietary electronic components. The package has a lid and a multi-compartmented base which are threaded together to actively engage an automatic locking system enabled by breakaway tabs on the wall of the base sliding over and engaging behind ramps protruding from the inner surface of the lid. Upon unscrewing the base from the lid, the tabs break off as pressure is applied by movement against the back of the ramps, leaving permanent evidence of the package having been opened. A textured grip on the bottom of the package provides ease of handling and fits snugly onto a raised ring on the top of another package to allow for easy stacking and efficient storage.

Abstract: Road tanker for an articulated vehicle, for hauling petroleum or other liquid products. The tanker has an elongated vessel provided internally with dividers. The dividers are joined to the side walls of the vessel by "U-shaped" extrusions providing dual connection between the dividers and the wall. The forward end of the vessel is provided with a skid plate which is integral with or located so as to be substantially at the same level as the bottom surfaces of the vessel. The forward and rearward vertical corners are hollow sections to reinforce the vessel at those locations. The vertical sides of the vessel are joined to the top panel by means of rails which inhibit rolling of the tanker from the side panels to the top panel.

Abstract: A holder used to provide scalpels for use during a surgical operation, and to dispose of scalpels after use. A number of scalpels are held in separated positions to be easily grasped when needed. The holder includes a cover for the blade ends of the scalpels, and a retractable cover for the handle ends. Abstract: A dual compartment liquid storage tank has a bottom wall, an annular side wall extending upwardly from the bottom wall and a top cover, to define an interior space. A bulkhead extends across the interior space to divide it into two separate compartments completely isolated from one another. The bulkhead is arcuately curved about a vertical axis and is marginally sealed to the bottom and side walls and top cover to prevent transmission of liquid from one compartment to the other. The curved configuration of the bulkhead withstands pressure differentials due to unequally filled compartments without buckling or distortion or failure of the seals, more effectively than a flat bulkhead.

Abstract: An insulation containment apparatus includes a pair of side panels and a plurality of spacer panels. The side panels are flexible and allow the apparatus to be compressed by accordianing for storage and transport. The apparatus is expanded to form a containment area between the side panels that is placed over a duct. The containment area is then filled with insulation to insulate the duct. Openings are provided in the spacer panels to receive the duct. Stakes are also provided to secure the apparatus in a particular location.

Abstract: Disclosed are blow molded multiple compartment plastic containers having partition members between the compartments that initially form portions of a mold for the container. When molding is complete, the partition members form part of the container, with the molded plastic material of the container substantially surrounding the partition members. Also disclosed are methods for molding the containers.

Abstract: A portable storage device comprises a base having an upright forward wall, an upright panel supported on the base and a storage surface on the base between the forward wall and the panel. The forward wall is substantially shorter than the panel allowing access to the storage surface. The device further includes an elasticized support across the panel at a height elevated relative to the forward wall above the storage surface.

Abstract: A fish tape reel which includes first and second hollow annular reel segments mated together to define a fish tape reel having an enclosed annular fish tape compartment for receiving a lenth of coiled fish tape. The reel defines first and second spaced-apart and opposing side walls and inner and outer spaced-apart and opposing peripheral walls. The inner peripheral wall defines a through void in the reel. A port is provided in the inner peripheral wall of the reel for extending and retracting therethrough a length of fish tape contained in the compartment.

Abstract: A small parts container includes a top wall, bottom wall and peripheral sidewall connected to define a parts containing chamber. A moveable lid affords access to parts in the container. Aligned openings are provided through the top wall and bottom wall and an internal generally tubular wall surrounds those openings for defining a rack member receiving slot through the container.

Abstract: Inserts and a remover are disclosed for use with containers such that the interior space of the container is utilized in the most efficient way. The inserts are sectioned off so that each insert has a plurality of sections. The inserts are further designed with a cylindrical center and outer section that are conical in nature. Each center section includes a cross section for removing the inserts from the container. Further disclosed is a handle for aiding in the removal of the inserts.
