Abstract: An energy-saving and heat-preservation cookware is disclosed. The cookware includes a cookware body, a cookware lid and a cookware seat. The cookware body comprises a heat-preservation body, and a heat-conductive bottom below the heat-preservation body. The heat-preservation body is of a double-layer vacuum structure. A heat-conductive metal block is provided inside the heat-conductive bottom. With this invention, it is simple in structure and convenient for use, the heat conduction of the cookware body is even and fast since a metal block is provided between the inner layer and the outer layer of the cookware bottom, and owing to the heat preservation of the double-layer structure, the heat dispersing is slow, and the heating time required is greatly reduced during cooking foods, thus it is energy-saving.

The cover-lifting mechanism includes a piston rod. Both ends of the piston rod are pivotally connected to the pot body and the upper cover respectively. The piston rod extends corresponding to an angle between the upper cover and the pot body when the upper cover is lifted. With this arrangement, the user can lift the upper cover with a less force. Further, the upper cover can be prevented from covering the pot body suddenly to damage the components and electric circuits therein and to protect the user's finger from getting hurt if the user puts his/her finger on the upper edge of the pot body. Therefore, the present invention really improves the practicability and safety of a pot.

  • Publication number: 20120060819
Abstract: The invention is a stove system that is portable, has a double walled external structure for the passage of air used in combustion of the fuel, which air also maintains the external surface at a cool enough temperature that it can be touched, and which air flow prevents the waste of heat laterally to the ambient air from a hot outer surface. This increases cooking efficiency, because almost all heat that reaches the air flow between the two walls is drawn right into the combustion chamber in the form of preheated air by reason of the chimney effect. Thus almost no heat can escape the outside wall except by reaching the cooking pot bottom and pot sides after passing out the cover vents as exhaust. An internal heat concentrator ring improves the overall efficiency of the burner. The stove is preferably powered with coal, and uses about half as much coal as a conventional coal fired stove resulting from cooking efficiency. Provision is made for generation of electrical energy from the excess stove heat.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a baking cup having a base section, a periphery section, and at least one tab extending beyond the periphery section. The tab(s) is configured to allow a user to lift and remove the baking cup from a baking utensil mold without having to touch the baking utensil or content of the baking cup. An exemplary method of using such a baking cup includes arranging the baking cup on a utensil, producing a baked good, and removing the baking cup from the utensil using the tab(s). The tab(s) may be formed part of or attached to the baking cup. In one embodiment, a method of manufacturing tabbed baking cups includes arranging shapes such as circles on a sheet of bake-proof material, utilizing the leftover to form tabs for the circles and cutting the circles and corresponding tab(s) to form the baking cups.
