  • Patent number: 10583513
Abstract: The invention relates to nuclear power and can be used in the manufacture of fuel elements for nuclear reactors. Embodiments of a welded joint between a fuel element casing and a plug comprised of high-chromium steel are proposed, providing for increased durability of the sealing of nuclear reactor fuel elements as a result of the formation of a high quality welded joint between the casing and the plug without the need for subsequent heat treatment of the weld seam, which simplifies the manufacturing process. This is achieved through the formation of a ferrite phase in the metal of the seam by adjusting the structure of a joint between the casing and the plug of ferrite-martensite and ferrite steels in various combinations and by keeping the necessary ranges of the size ratios to ensure the formation of the aforesaid phase.

  • Patent number: 10340765
Abstract: A motor unit is received in a first space of a motor case. A frame contacts an inner peripheral wall of the motor case and is fixed in an inside of the motor case. A cutout, which is formed in at least one of the motor case and the frame, forms a seal groove, which extends in a circumferential direction between the motor case and the frame. A cover covers the seal groove and forms a second space in an inside of the cover. A seal material is received in the seal groove and limits intrusion of liquid, such as water, from an outside of the motor case and the cover into the first space and the second space. In this way, intrusion of the liquid into the first space and the second space can be limited with the seal material provided in the single seal groove.

Abstract: A motorcycle saddlebag is formed of a plurality of panels. The saddlebag includes an outer panel, an inner panel, a lid, and a hinge. Some embodiments may also include a bottom panel. The lid is coupled to the outer panel by the hinge. The inner panel includes flanges extending around at least some of its perimeter edges. The outer panel is generally U-shaped shaped and receives the inner panel such that the flanges engage inner surfaces of the outer panel. The flanges are joined to the inner surfaces of the outer panel such that the outer and inner panel (and, in some embodiments, a bottom panel) cooperate to define a storage chamber. In some embodiments, portions of the outer panel extend beyond the inner panel and may be trimmed after bonding of the inner and outer panels to customize an inner contour of the saddlebag for different motorcycle applications.

Abstract: A chemical storage tank includes at least a main body and two sealing members combined together with each other, integrally made of acid-proof and alkali-proof materials, with a storage space formed inside it for storing any chemical material or product, and with a circumferential wall having its upper and its lower end respectively formed with a connecting opening. The sealing members are integrally made of the same plastic material of the main body, respectively combined together with the upper and the lower connecting opening of the main body by Electronics high frequency welding or heater welding. Thus, the welding portions between the main body and the sealing members are located around the circumferential wall, able to prevent pressure in the tank from damaging the chemical storage tank to insure safety.

Abstract: The aim of the invention is to produce can bodies (24?) comprising a can shell (24) and a closing element (31b, 32, 31a) that is fixed to one face of the can shell (24). Said aim is achieved by producing a tube (11) from a metal strip (1), optionally from directly adjacent sections (112), by means of a shaping step, at least one optional cutting step, and a continuous welding step, sections of said tube (11) being used as closed convex surfaces for cans. The sections are shaped by a shell-shaping device in such a way that can shells (24) are provided into which a closing element (31b, 32, 31a), especially a can bottom (31b), can be inserted. The longitudinal seam (11a, 124) can be produced inexpensively and at great precision essentially as a continuous seam in the welding step by means of simple installations.
