Abstract: Various carrying mechanisms to transport a storage device, container or unit are shown. The carrying mechanisms actuate between various positions that may interfere with opening a lid of the storage unit. Various configurations of the carrying mechanisms reduce their profile when in use. Also described are multi-segmented carrying mechanisms that provides a beneficial weight distribution while facilitating actuating the carrying mechanism between different positions.

Abstract: A mobile cooling box having a box main body and at least one lid for opening the box and providing access to the inside of the box. The at least one lid is pivotally attached to the box main body by at least two hinge modules. Each hinge module comprises a pin module having a hinge pin with a front end, a rear end, a longitudinal axis about which the lid is pivotable and predominantly a smooth outer surface of a cylindrical shape. Each hinge module further comprises a bearing module having a hinge bearing accommodating the hinge pin. The hinge pin laterally extends with its front end into the hinge bearing. Thus, during pivoting the lid with respect to the box main body an axis of the hinge bearing remains co-linear with the longitudinal axis of the hinge pin.

Abstract: A waterproof device including a casing structure, a cover structure, a first engaging plate, a second engaging plate, a first elastic member, and a second elastic member is provided. The casing structure, on which the cover structure is disposed, includes a bottom plate, a first side plate, a second side plate, a third side plate, and a fourth side plate. The first engaging plate is disposed adjacent to the first side plate, and the first elastic member is connected therebetween. The second engaging plate is disposed adjacent to the second side plate, and the second elastic member is connected therebetween. The first engaging plate can reciprocate between a first positioning position and a first disengagement position relative to the first side plate, and the second engaging plate can reciprocate between a second positioning position and a second disengagement position relative to the second side plate.

Abstract: The bin with flip lid device includes a main body and lid having a first portion and a second portion. The main body includes a plurality of sides, an upper surface, and a bottom surface. The main body further has a first handle arrangement and a second handle arrangement. Each of the handle arrangements are disposed on opposite sides of the upper surface of the main body. Each of the first portion and the second portion of the lid are also disposed on opposite sides of the upper surface of the main body. Each of the first portion and the second portion are hingedly connected along the upper surface of the main body. Each of the first portion and the second portion have at least one tooth which is configured to nest into a corresponding recess in each of the opposite lids where the device is in a closed position.

Abstract: A roasting/serving device has a base rack and a removably attachable raised rack. The assembled base and raised racks are held within a single pan or between a lower pan and an oppositely-oriented upper pan. The pan or pans containing the assembled base and raised racks is/are placed within a wire chafing stand with rotatable handles. The handles are rotatable to clamp together rims of the upper pan and lower pan.

Abstract: Disclosed is a cup lid with pressing linkage, which includes a hollow cover body with a water outlet. A linkage assembly including a first linkage, a second linkage, and a third linkage that are connected in sequence is arranged in the cover body; a though-hole is provided on one side of the cover body, and a pressing handle is hinged to an outer wall of the cover body and is rotatable relative to the cover body around the hinge. One end of the pressing handle is hinged to one end of the linkage assembly through the though-hole, and the other end of the linkage assembly is connected with a sealing plug to open and seal the water outlet. The pressing handle can be operated with one hand and the sealing plug is driven via the linkage assembly to open or close the water outlet.

The foot basis of the telescope device-foot is fixable at a housing of the test and/or measuring device. The fold-out section is mounted foldable at the foot basis. The fold-out section is foldable in a direction pointing away from the housing of the test and/or measuring device. The slider is movable in a direction of a back side of the test and/or measuring device relative to the foot basis.

Abstract: A container assembly for a vehicle having a container receiving base having one of a catch and a catch receiving space and a removable container selectively disposed on the container receiving base, the removable container having a container body defining an item receiving space, and a handle pivotally connected to the container body and being movable between a locked and an unlocked position, the handle having an other one of the catch and the catch receiving space, the other one of the catch and the catch receiving space being movable with the handle, where in the locked position, the catch is received in the catch receiving space, preventing separation of the container from the base and in the unlocked position, the catch is out of the catch receiving space, allowing separation of the container from the base. A removable container and a vehicle incorporating the container assembly are also disclosed.

Abstract: Some implementations can include a zero turn radius utility vehicle that is operated in a standing position by an operator using foot controls provided on the utility vehicle. Accordingly, the operator's hands are free to operate handheld equipment (e.g., a line trimmer, edger, blower, etc.) while the operator controls the utility vehicle via the foot controls. Further, the utility vehicle may have a single third wheel (and no mower deck or other deck or protrusion) extending from the front of the vehicle frame so as to minimize any protrusions to the front of the vehicle, which can permit the operator to work on the ground in front of the utility vehicle using handheld equipment without interference from a mower deck, while remaining in a standing position on the utility vehicle and being able to simultaneously control the utility vehicle (via foot controls) and perform work with handheld equipment.

Abstract: A compact cooking implement includes a pan, a top flange, a handle, and a stand flange. The pan has a rectangular bottom and four perpendicular walls. One of the four walls extends from each of four edges of the bottom. The top flange is disposed on a top edge of the walls of the pan. The top flange extends perpendicularly outward from a top edge of each of the four walls. The handle extends outwardly from the top flange. The stand flange extends from the top flange outwardly at an angle from a plane including the top flange.

Abstract: Solutions for leveling the surface of cookware are disclosed. In one embodiment, at least one detachable adjustable leg makes contact with the stove surface to tilt the cooking surface to make it level. The pressure on the stove surface can be increased or decreased, thereby increasing the tilt until the cooking surface is level. In another embodiment, at least one detachable adjustable leg is weighted at one end and the weighted end extends outward to make the cooking surface level. In yet another embodiment, the cookware comes with at least one adjustable leg permanently attached. In all cases, multiple adjustable legs can be used to increase the stability and accuracy. In another embodiment, adjustable legs protrude from the top or bottom surface of a grate that typically covers a flame on gas stove surface.

Abstract: A cooler includes a main body which includes a base, an upper rim, and one or more cooler walls extending therebetween. The cooler in some embodiments further includes a removable wheel assembly which includes two coaxial wheels, and an axle. The two coaxial wheels are removably securable to the axle. The cooler still further comprises a wheel fastening system configured to secure the removable wheel assembly to the base of the main body which includes a mount, a clip hingedly connected to the mount, and a locking clasp configured to lock the clip into a closed position to secure the wheel assembly. The cooler yet further comprises a lid including two wheel storage recesses, each being sized and dimensioned to receive and retain one of the coaxial wheel of the wheel assembly, and an axle storage recess sized and dimensioned to receive and retain the axle of the wheel assembly.

Abstract: In one embodiment of a container protector the container protector comprises two opposing side skirts, two opposing end skirts, and a interior lip connected to both side skirts and end skirts. The container protector may also include one or more handle extension to facilitate use with a container having one or more handles. The container protector is designed to sealing fit around the top periphery of a container with the interior lip extending upward to prevent material within the container from flowing outward therefrom during transitions. Such transitions may be caused by heating, transportation, or other disturbances. The precise dimensions of the container protector will vary from one embodiment to the next, and the container protector may take any shape depending on the container for which it is designed.

Abstract: A handle-interlocking airtight boiling pot includes: a rotational body which is rotatably supported at the side of the container and is mounted to rotate between a lid opening position and a lid closing position; a hand grip part formed at an upper end of the rotational body; and an airtightly fixing part which is formed integrally with a lower part of the hand grip part and protrudes toward the lid to airtightly fix the lid to the container by pressing an upper side of the lid when the rotational body is located at the lid closing position. The lid includes: a retaining protrusion formed at an upper side of an edge portion of the lid to catch and retain the airtightly fixing part of the rotational body at the lid closing position; and a contact groove part with which a contact surface of the airtightly fixing part gets in contact.

The container generally does not need to be sturdy enough to reliably carry food without the support. Abstract: A detachable handle for a child's sippy cup. The sippy cup includes a cup portion and a lid portion coupled to the cup portion. The lid portion includes a drinking spout having apertures. The detachable handle includes a ring portion that engages the lid and/or the cup portion, and a pair of grasping portions that extend axially and radially away from the ring portion. Hook portions are radially aligned with, and extend axially opposite the grasping portions, and are engageable with an upper surface of the lid portion. Moving the grasping portions radially inwardly causes the hook portions to move radially outwardly for disengagement from the upper surface and removal of the handle from the sippy cup.

A biaxially drawn synthetic resin bottle has a recessed portion, and a synthetic resin handle, fitted in an undercut engagement to the recessed portion by insert molding. Abstract: The present invention relates to a kitchen device, namely a cooking vessel to be used with a cooking utensil. The handle has an opening for receiving the stem of the utensil, the opening having a predetermined shape for cooperating with the stem to temporarily hold the stem so that the cooking implement of the utensil hangs above the bottom surface of the container. There is also provided a handle to be joined to a cooking vessel, as well as a utensil to be used with the cooking vessel.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for physically protecting an interface on an electronic device having first and second protrusions, each having a surface. The mechanism includes first and second clamping mechanisms, a hinge assembly and a cover plate. Each clamping mechanism has a pair of blocks that are detachably fastenable together. As assembled along the protrusion surface of the device, the blocks form a channel that rigidly engages that surface. The hinge assembly forms a pivotable joint and can be removably attached to the first clamping mechanism to orient the pivotable joint substantially parallel to the interface. The cover plate can be removably attached to the hinge assembly for disposal to swing on the pivotable joint between closed and open positions. In the closed position, the cover plate securely connects to at least the second clamping mechanism.

The upper support member and the lower support member may have sheet like portions. Abstract: An article sorting apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a container having a bottom and a longitudinally extending sidewall extending therefrom and a panel positioned proximal the container. The panel includes a cylindrically shaped shoulder extending therefrom and that defines a channel in alignment with the shoulder and that extends through the panel for allowing pass-through of a matched pair of socks. The cylindrically shaped shoulder is configured for receiving an open end of a first sock. A second sock is positioned proximal the first sock and inserted into and through a respective channel and disposed into the container.

Abstract: Food serving pans made from heat conductive materials include a gasket positioned over a flange to protect fingers from heat or cold, improve gripping ability, seal against countertops of food serving tables, and/or protect paint or non stick coating from chipping off the flange. The food pan is made from aluminum or other highly heat conductive material. The gasket comprises silicone or other heat resistant and insulating elastomer. A food serving system includes one or more food pans and a food serving table. The food pans maintain food at a desired temperature by efficiently transferring heat or cold from the serving table while the gasket seals against a countertop of the serving table. The gasket can be provided in a kit of differently sized and/or shaped gaskets so as to fit over differently sized and/or shaped pan flanges. A user can install and replace the gasket as needed.

Abstract: A canister includes a body having a shell, a lid, and a handle mechanism. The handle mechanism includes a lever that actuates to engage and disengage a latch pivoted on the lever for locking and unlocking the lid to the body. The lever mates to a fixed handle portion to complete a handle for facilitating handling of the canister. The canister can further include wheels for transporting the canister. The lid can include an elastic portion to press against the body to create a seal. The canister can further include a utensil attached to the underside of the lid, for use to scoop the content from the canister.

Abstract: A container assembly that includes a first container, a second container and a latch arrangement movable between a latched position and an unlatched position is provided. The first container has a first container portion having a first opening into a first interior space in which articles to be transported can be stored and a first cover for closing the first opening. The second container has a second container portion having a second opening into a second interior space in which articles to be transported can be stored and a second cover for closing the second opening. The latch arrangement, when in the latched position, is constructed and arranged to connect the first container portion to the second container portion. The latch arrangement is positioned and configured such that when it connects the first container portion to the second container portion, the first opening and the second opening face opposite directions.

Abstract: A kitchen appliance includes a housing defining a cavity. A heating or cooling element is disposed within the housing. A container is sized and shaped to fit within the cavity. A lid is sized and shaped to at least partially cover an opening of the container. A handle is pivotally mounted to an exterior surface of the side wall of the housing. A first end of the handle is pivotally mounted to the side wall of the housing at a first location. An opposing second end of the handle is pivotally mounted to side wall of the housing at a second location diametrically opposed to the first location. Abstract: The disclosed technology comprises cookware and other vessels (any item capable of non-permeable retention of liquid), such as pots and pans with rugged and collapsible handles which may decrease in length to be ? or less than their extended size and are usable in both a collapsed or an expanded state. Such handles, in embodiments of the disclosed technology, have covers or ends which, in a collapsed configuration of the handle, entirely cover most or all of the extendable portion of the handle, the covers usable as handles when collapsed. Individual links of the handle have inward flanges and protrusions adapted to keep the links from disconnecting, and fold into one another in a cascading manner, either becoming successively smaller, or being of equal overall size or width. Exterior notches on each link are used to keep the links from expanding and contracting into one another without lateral force applied.

Abstract: A tote having both a caddy and a removable mini caddy is disclosed. The removable mini caddy attaches to the caddy with a series of guide walls and guide rails that allow the removable mini caddy to be cooperatively received by the caddy. The handle of the removable mini caddy nests with the handle of the caddy while they are attached, providing the user with a single handled tote that is easy to transport and use while still having the convenience of an extra tote where objects can be temporarily removed and then replaced without the need for transferring the objects from one tote to another. The removable mini caddy may be easily removed and then replaced within the caddy while remaining securely in place during use and transport.

Abstract: A container constructed and arranged to be connected to at least one other container. The container has a container portion, a cover, and a latch member movable between a first position and a second position. A retaining member on the container portion is engageable with the latch member. In the first position, the latch member engages the retaining member to inhibit movement of the latch member away from the first position. In the second position, the latch member is engageable with a container portion of the other container to connect the containers. The latch member is pivotally movable in a clockwise and counterclockwise manner. The latch member can be pivoted upwards to the second position to engage the other container and the latch member can be pivoted downwards to the first position to engage the retaining member to inhibit movement of the latch member away from the first position.

Abstract: A handle of a detachable grilling pan has: a main body with a downward opening and a window, both disposed on the top side of the main body, a shaft, a “L” shaped hook and a spring. The main body is connected to the grilling pan by a fixing plate. The “L” shaped hook is hinged to the shaft, and the long straight free end of it extends out the window of the handle, and the short straight free end of it extends out the opening of the handle body and toward the grilling pan. The spring presses against the long straight end to make the free end of the short straight end hook the opening of the shell of the grill. When the long straight part of the hook is pressed, the hook rotates around the shaft and the grilling pan can be removed from the grill shell.

Abstract: An example cart includes a body establishing an opening for loading and unloading items from the body and a skirt extending downwardly from a portion of the body. A plurality of support ribs span between the body and the skirt. The support ribs establish a lifter receiving area together with an outwardly facing surface of the body and an inwardly facing surface of the skirt. A feature is disposed on an outwardly facing surface of the skirt. The feature indicates the location of the lifter receiving area.

Abstract: A handle attached to cookware piece configured to position the cookware piece within a larger cookware piece in a nested arrangement. The handle may include a body having a slot disposed within a bottom surface of the handle body. The slot may be configured such that when a smaller cookware piece is positioned within a larger cookware piece, an upper edge the smaller cookware piece is equal to or less than the same height of an upper edge of the larger cookware piece. The smaller cookware piece may be held by the slot within the larger cookware piece in a substantially horizontal orientation.

Abstract: A portable caddy, comprising: a base portion; a handle portion removably secured to an upper surface of the base portion, the handle portion having a pair of support members and an elongated member extending therebetween, the handle portion being configured to rotatably support a roll of paper towels above the upper surface of the base portion; a plurality of recessed areas disposed in the upper surface; and an opening in a side wall of the base portion, the opening providing access to a receiving area disposed between the upper surface and a bottom surface of the base portion, wherein the receiving area is configured to store a plurality of plates therein and wherein the opening allows removal of the plates from the receiving area and a rotatable base portion securable to a lower surface of the base portion, wherein the rotatable base portion allows the portable caddy to be rotated with respect to the rotatable base portion.

Abstract: A lockable cap assembly including a handle having at least one protrusion, and a flip cap defining an internal chamber surrounded by a flip cap edge. The flip cap including at least one locking groove configured to engage the at least one protrusion, and an engagement surface. The lockable cap also including a collar having a release mechanism for engaging with the engagement surface. The flip cap being moveable between an open configuration in which a portion of the flip cap edge is not in contact with a surface of the collar and a closed configuration in which the flip cap edge is in full contact with the collar.
