Abstract: A system for managing the fluid intake of a person is disclosed. The system consists of multiple containers of various volumes, a common lid configured to incorporate a flow control valve, multiple flow control valves having varying flow rates, a date indicator ring incorporated circumferentially on said containers, a content indicator disposed on said lid, a chiller insert, and an optional slip on handle. The user selects a container based on the fluid needs of a person and a flow control valve based on the drinking ability of the person. The user fills the container with a drinkable fluid, and indicates the nature of the contents with the content indicator and the date of filling with the date indicator ring. The chiller insert allows the user to cool the contents without the possibility of dilution as with standard ice cubes.

Abstract: The invention discloses a recycling bin cover comprising a base member engageable with a periphery of a recycling bin's open top; a frame having a plurality of frame members extending upwardly from the base member toward an imaginary apex; a curtain supported on and forming a sidewall extending around the frame; a flap forming an openable sidewall in the curtain; an opening positioned on the curtain and dimensioned to accept materials for recycling into the bin; and one or more lifting members connected to the base member, to the frame, or to both, and extending to form a handle above the recycling bin cover. In order to remove the lid, the user must insert a finger and/or thumb into the indentation(s) and press upward on the lid. The cup has a contour between the ledge and the grasping portion with ergonomic features to increase the user's comfort in handling the cup.

Methods of using the apparatus and the kit are also disclosed.

Abstract: A combination soft drink bottle holder and pitcher type container is disclosed which is specifically adapted to receive a conventional two liter soft drink bottle in a releasable friction fit relationship. The holder and container device includes an integral; handle which permits one to handle and pour the contents of the soft drink bottle in a facile, yet secure manner. When used independently as a pitcher container, without the soft drink bottle, free standing liquids in the pitcher may be stored and poured from the container in a similar manner to conventional pitchers. In a preferred embodiment, a removably lid is provided which fits within top opening of the container and allows pouring of free flowing liquids from the pitcher container without removing the lid which is rotatably mounted between open and closed positions.

Abstract: A coffee carafe with a hidden handle support. The handle support is an annular band that extends around a rim of a glass jar for the coffee carafe. An annular collar fits over the annular band, hiding the handle support from view. The annular collar includes a pour spout and an annular flange that extends against an inside surface of the rim of the glass jar. A silicon adhesive or other suitable bonding agent is used to hold the annular collar in place. The use of the annular collar provides strong support for the handle. In addition, because the bonding agent that holds the annular flange in position against the glass jar does not have to support the handle, materials other than acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plastic may be used for the annular collar and the handle. For example, polypropylene may be used as the material for these two components.

The slit has an upper edge, a lower edge, a first end and a second end. The slit has a length equal to one half the circumference of a tapered cup measured at a point between the upper rim of the cup and the base. The panel is folded along the slit and the upper edge is separated from the lower edge and the cup is introduced between the edges form a cup holder located about the circumference of the cup. The cup holder will fit frictionally about the cup between the rim and the base, adapting automatically to the taper of the cup.

Abstract: This invention is a handle for liquid food cartons. It can be used without regard to the carton opening by separating the top portion thereof or has a spout with a screw cap. The carton handle includes a bail that slides down over the carton and is then tightened down with the flip of a toggle by the thumb of the user. There is a safety stop that prevents the toggle from inadvertently being released. When it is desired to have the bail released or loosened around the carton, the toggle is flipped toward the carton and the bail simply slidingly removed therefrom.

Abstract: A device for holding a container includes an elongated handle. An adjustable band is mounted at one end, and has two sections which project from opposite sides, of the handle. The two sections overlap to form a loop, and each section is provided with a series of openings. A clip receives the overlapping sections and comprises a detent which can be moved into and out of the openings. The band is flexible, and the overlapping sections of the band can be shifted relative to one another to change the diameter of the loop. When the diameter has been adjusted, the detent is passed through registering openings of the overlapping sections to fix the sections with respect to each other. An anchoring bar is also mounted on the handle and is movable radially of the loop between a retracted position inside the handle and an extended position in which the bar projects into the loop. The bar stabilizes a container which is gripped by the band.

The cup body has a tightly sealed and heat insulating cup wall formed by double-layer stainless steel and confining a receiving space adapted to receive a hot or cold liquid. The cover is adapted for closing an open top of the cup body to prevent spilling of the liquid inside the cup body, loss of heat of the liquid inside the cup body to the outside, and entry of dust into the cup body.
