Abstract: A blister package is provided including a blister for holding and dispensing articles. The blister package includes a backing and a blister defining an opening and having an integral, re-closable closure for selectively covering the opening. The closure may include snap elements that can be snap-fitted into notches in the blister for securely retaining the blister in a closed position. Optionally, the closure may joined to the blister by an integral, flexible fastener, which may be a strap and/or a living hinge. A method of packaging an article in a blister package includes: (a) forming a plastic blister, (b) forming an opening in the blister, and (c) forming a closure integral with the blister for covering the opening.

Abstract: An exemplary cover assembly includes a bezel, and a spring-loaded cover. The bezel includes an opening, a pair of slots, and a pair of pins. The opening is defined in the bezel for accessing a device installed thereto. The slots are defined adjacent opposite ends of the opening respectively. The pins are formed adjacent the slots respectively. The spring-loaded cover covers the opening of the bezel, includes a pair of fixing plates formed thereon slidably received in the slots of the bezel. Each of the fixing plates defines an arcuate groove that slidably receives the corresponding pin of the bezel, where the cover is capable of being pivoted open and shut.

Abstract: A container for packaging food for transporting and selling to consumers is provided. The container includes a base having a pair of inwardly recessed pockets for capturing a pair of extending latching portions on a lid. The pair of extending latching portions has concave grooves allowing the extending latching portions to flex inwards from an initial position for insertion into the pair inwardly recessed pockets. When the pair of extending latching portions are inserted into the pair inwardly recessed pockets, the pair of extending latching portions expand back to their initial position and protrusions within the pair of inwardly recessed pockets retain the pair of extending latching portions creating a tight fit and preventing the lid of the container from being easily disengaged from the base of the container.

The moisture proof resealable non-cylindrical container may be made of plastics, such as polypropylene and polyethylene. In addition, the non-cylindrical container has a cap, which includes a thumb tab to facilitate the opening and closing of the container.

Said closure member, consisting of a rubber elastic material, is captively connected to the housing by an extension and can be swung open and closed in a similar manner to a hinge. The body includes a flange which projects downward from the seal and a skirt which projects upward from the seal. The flange is engagable with the interior surface of the container and the skirt retains a reclosable lid in its closed position. The frangible seal covers an opening in the body and has a tear strip which is defined by a pair of spaced-apart grooves. An integral finger grip is located at one end of the tear strip. The finger grip has a pair of upwardly-angled gripping tabs which are attached to the tear strip by a spacer. The lid is tethered to the skirt and includes a lifting tab. The tether and the lifting tab are located in respective notches in the upper edge of the skirt when the lid is closed.

The container is preferably stackable and self-supporting, and the mechanical interlocking seal includes at least one interlocking bead and groove pair located on the lid and flange. The container may also be collapsible via folding of the tubular structure.
