An exterior port of the sleeve directly and fluidly interconnects with the interior of said inflatable portion, wherein a slotted portion is aligned with the port to receive the port when the cuff is wrapped about the limb of a patient. The slotted portion is sized to provide a range of cuff sizes wherein the cuff can be entirely made from a biodegradable or recyclable material. A plurality of cuffs can be packaged for sequential dispensing thereof.

Abstract: A dispenser includes a container having panels defining a cavity for holding a supply of a product. The panels include a top panel having an opening for dispensing the product and a side panel extending orthogonally to the top panel. The top panel is connected to the side panel along a top edge. The dispenser also includes an affixing tab extendable from the top panel along the top edge. The underside of the affixing tab is a mounting surface on which is an adhesive material. The affixing tab is moveable between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the affixing tab lies flat against the side panel. In the open position, the mounting surface is exposed and securable to a support surface using the adhesive such that the affixing tab and the adhesive are capable of securing the container to or suspending the container from a vertical or horizontal support surface.

Abstract: A bandage dispensing device dispenses bandages with an upper protective layer of its packaging removed so that a person can dispense a bandage using only one hand. A separator placed near an opening in a wall of the housing of the device separates the upper protective layer from a roll of interconnected bandages so that only a bandage and a lower protective layer emerge from the housing of the device. The separator has at least one arm that protrudes from the side wall of the housing in a perpendicular direction and separates an upper protective layer of the packaging. The upper protective layer that has been separated by the separator gathers inside of the housing. In the roll of packaged bandages, the upper protective layer is releasably attached to the lower protective layer.

Abstract: A package containing sheets and having an orifice for dispensing the sheets from the package. The sheets may be joined together to allow pop-up dispensing. The sheets have first and second faces facing first and second directions, respectively. The package has two orifices in communication with each other. The sheet may be grasped through the first orifice and communicated to the second orifice for subsequent pop-up dispensing. The sheet inverts about an axis during such communication so that the first side of the sheet may face towards the second direction, and vice versa. If the sheets are wetted this arrangement also allows the wetting liquid to be distributed onto an adjacent sheet during dispensing without an additional step.

Abstract: A newspaper vending machine includes a dispensing sled and an elevator supported by a frame within a housing. The elevator includes a base slidable between a rearward position, for loading a stack of newspapers, and a forward position. The dispensing sled engages the newspaper stack and is translatable between upper and lower positions to dispense the periodicals from an exit area. An actuation arm projects outwardly from a front panel for engagement by a user and is translated along a substantially vertical pathway as the dispensing sled is moved between its upper and lower positions. The frame of the vending machine is translatably supported on rails for movement between a retracted condition in which the frame is located within the interior and an extended condition in which the frame extends beyond a front end of the housing.

Abstract: According to one exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a center-pull bottom feed dispenser includes a housing defining a compartment and including a center-pull bottom feed arrangement for dispensing a sheet material that is in the form of a roll of the sheet material. The sheet material can be a pre-moistened airlaid web. The dispenser also includes a tray that supports the airlaid web roll and includes an outlet opening through which the airlaid web is fed to be accessible to a user. The tray includes a moisture retaining feature that directs fluid from the pre-moistened air-laid web away from the outlet opening and toward an outer peripheral edge of the roll.

Abstract: A towelette dispenser is provided with an integrally molded lid. The lid has a central aperture for allowing access to a roll of towelettes maintained within a tub receiving the lid therein. The separation bar bridges the aperture, and provides a rip fence in the form of a fingered thimble that is angled with respect to the lid as a whole. The thimble is offset near one edge of the annular opening so that a user may access the back side thereof to thread an edge of the leading towelette through the thimble without having to remove the lid from the tub. A well is provided in the smaller portion of the aperture and a cap for the lid is provided with a stuffer tab to urge the leading edge of the next towelette into the well when the cap is closed. Barrier caps are also provided to seal the interior of the tub during shipment and storage before the first use of the towelette dispenser.

The materials and structure of the container allow tissues to be impregnated with an active substance—such as a fragrance—as each tissue is dispensed from the container. The disposable container and a package including the disposable container and a plurality of tissues located within the container are described.

Abstract: A tissue product, which includes a carton and a stack of tissues, is provided with a flattened arched-shaped sheet that supports the stack of tissues. As the tissues are withdrawn from the carton and the weight of the tissue stack is reduced, the flattened arch-shaped sheet gradually assumes its normal arched shape, thereby raising the stack of tissues within the carton. Raising the stack substantially reduces or eliminates “fall-back”, which is a common dispensing problem, as the stack height is reduced.

Abstract: A wipes dispenser includes a container having an interior holding a plurality of wipes. A grip orifice provides communication between the interior and the exterior of the container, and the grip orifice serves to prevent wipes from falling back into the interior. The dispenser also includes a rip fence, and a lead end of a lead wipe of the plurality of wet wipes within the container extends through the grip orifice and then through the rip fence such that pulling on the lead end to pull the lead wipe against the rip fence causes the remainder of the lead wipe to be removed from the container and become disassociated with the remaining wipes of the plurality of wipes. As the lead end is pulled against the rip fence, the following wipe of the plurality of wipes is pulled through the grip orifice to provide its lead end outside of the interior of the container, and the grip orifice prevents this lead end of the following wipe from falling back into the interior of the container.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a wipe-dispensing device that can fit around commonly used doorknobs or door handles, and a method for issuing wipes from the device so that they may be used as a protective barrier between the hand and the doorknobs. The device may include a molded circular ring made of plastic or any suitable hardened polymer. The ring fits around a doorknob or door handle so that the inner edge of the ring is proximal to the outer edge of the doorknob base which is fixed to the door. Commonly used adhesive can be applied to the bottom half of the device to allow the apparatus to be attached to a door and to be positioned proximate to a doorknob as mentioned above. The device may also be attached to a door with screws inserted through the device. In an alternative embodiment, a gap can be included in the apparatus so that the ring is not continuous.

The enclosure of the station may be located in a public venue, and conveniently dispenses wet wipe towelettes for people to clean their hands without resort to soap and water. A trash receptacle contained within the station enables ready disposal of the towelettes by the patrons after their use. By making a good hand hygiene available to customers, a merchant or public authority can help to reduce germs, viruses, and bacteria that can otherwise cause the spread of infectious illnesses.

In different positions, the rotating or sliding cover enables various functions of the flag dispenser. For example, the cover may be moved into a position to enable withdrawal of tape flags by a user. The cover may also be configured to move into a position that covers and protects the tape flags. In refillable embodiments of the writing instrument, the cover may also be removed to enable a flip cover portion of the flag dispenser to be opened to provide access to a tape flag chamber.

At least a portion of an adhesive material is disposed at a location on the removable panel such that the adhesive is not exposed to the interior volume of the container in an adhesive state. A clip of interfolded disposable sheets is inserted into the interior volume of the container. After insertion of the clip, the adhesive material is exposed in an adhesive state to the interior volume of the container and contact is made between the adhesive and the uppermost sheet of the clip of interfolded sheets such that the removable panel is attached to the uppermost sheet.

Abstract: A novel towelette dispensing assembly is presented comprising a housing and a frame wherein the housing is attached the frame, which in turn is releasably secured between the mounting brackets of a conventional toilet tissue roll holder. The frame includes parallel-spaced opposing support arms and mounting means. The mounting means is intended to be positioned on either side of a toilet tissue roll such that the expandable spindle provided as part of a conventional toilet tissue dispenser may engage or pass through said mounting means. The support arms of the frame assembly extend beyond the mounting means to bear against the wall or vertical surface to maintain the frame assembly in a substantially vertical position. One embodiment includes a novel tissue roll spindle. The towelette housing can take various shapes to accommodate a variety of conventional commercial towelette containers.

Abstract: A secure and portable paper currency container and dispenser that is designed to allow the user access to the paper currency stored in the unit with one hand. The paper currency notes are folded and placed in the container by the user. The container dispenser is designed to allow the user by following the provided instructions to fold and place the paper currency notes in the container. The container dispenser may be attached to a vehicle, person or clothing as the user may choose. The container design allows the paper currency notes to be accessed one at a time until the container is empty. At that time the container may be refilled by the user or disposed of. Coin currency may also be placed with one hand in the container dispenser when in a closed operating position for storage and may only be retrieved by the user when the container is opened.

In one embodiment, the dispenser includes a container body (12), a dispenser housing assembly (52) housed within the container body, arid a lid (14) which forms a moisture-tight seal with the container body. The dispenser housing assembly includes a product reservoir, a dispenser housing in engagement with the product reservoir, and a flexible indexing arm that is movable relative to the dispenser housing to dispense the pre-cut pieces of film. The pre-cut pieces of film can be encapsulated within a perforated continuous carrier (30) and contained within the product reservoir. The flexible indexing arm has features that cooperate with the continuous carrier to index the continuous carrier and dispense an individual pre-cut film piece. In an alternative embodiment, the dispenser employs a suction cup (150) in the container lid which is forced onto a film piece in a stack of film pieces to be dispensed.
