The faceplate portion is arranged to support and dispense the sheet products, has an opening comprising a rectangular portion with a centrally disposed arcing triangular portion having a centrally disposed arced apex, the rectangular portion extends from an upper edge of the faceplate to the arced apex, the opening is arranged to expose a plurality of the sheet products on one end of the body portion through the rectangular portion and to expose a planar surface of a single sheet product through the arcing triangular portion.

Abstract: A tissue dispensing device for use with a standard tissue carton is formed as a helical coil spring that is highly stretchy and has a top coil that is fastened around a dispenser aperture in a top surface of the tissue carton with the remainder of the helical coil spring inserted into a space between the top surface of the tissue carton and top of the stack of tissues within the carton with a bottom coil thereof resting on top of the stack of tissues. The helical coil spring forms an open circular space within its coils under gravity that provides a vertically-extending support structure for supporting a tissue next to be dispensed from the tissue stack in a vertical standing position with a leading part thereof extending through a membrane opening of the dispenser aperture of the tissue carton to enable a user to grasp the leading part to withdraw the next tissue to be dispensed.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing interfolded disposable sheets is disclosed. The dispenser includes a removable panel that is attached to the first sheet in the stack contained in the container. When the removable panel is pulled off the container, the first sheet in the stack is partially or completely withdrawn from the container. The removable panel may be adhered to the first sheet using an adhesive material. The adhesive material may be contained in a recess formed in the removable panel. The recess is designed to protect the adhesive material during manufacture of the product and/or to prevent the adhesive material to adhering to other portions of the product. In one embodiment, after the stack of sheets are loaded into the dispenser, the recess is inverted forming a protrusion that contacts the first sheet in the stack and forms a bond between the removable panel and the first sheet.

Abstract: A napkin dispenser with a springless means for urging napkins therein toward an opening in the front face of the dispenser. The front face has two side edges with each side edge connected a side wall of the dispenser and each side wall has at least one inclined guide that is sloped downwardly toward the front face. The means for urging napkins comprises a generally vertical plate having at least one nub on each side edge, with each nub associated with an inclined guide of one of the side walls, so that the plate urges the napkins disposed in the structure to move toward the opening in the front face through which the napkins can be withdrawn from the napkin dispenser independent of a spring.

Abstract: The invention relates to a dispenser of sheets stacked inside a compartment, such as a vertical one, with a dispensing slot and provided with means for slowing the advance of the stack of sheets. This dispenser is characterized in that such means are represented by flexible elements mounted so as to project into the compartment, elements on which the sheets rest. In one embodiment the flexible elements are made up of fibers and form brushes. The elements may also be in the form of flexible blades or that of the coils of a spring.

Abstract: A disposable dispensing carton for paper and nonwoven sheet materials is provided that can be made from paperboard blanks and includes a set or ridges, integral with the dispensing carton, that extend into the interior area of the dispensing carton adjacent the dispensing opening located in the bottom of the carton. The ridges off-set the weight of the overlying sheets to a degree that allows the dispensing carton to employ heights in excess of about 40 cm as well as hold and dispense stacked paper products having sheet counts between about 250 and about 1000 sheets.

Abstract: An interfolded paper napkin dispensing system composed of: (a) an outer housing defining an interior space; (b) stacking means mounted within the outer housing for holding a stack of paper napkins within the interior space; and (c) a dispensing face defined in the outer housing proximate to an end of the stacking means. The dispensing face has a central portion projecting out from the dispenser and a dispensing throat located in the central portion. The dispensing throat is composed of a slot portion having a length sufficient to permit a paper napkin to be pulled through by a user, but a relatively narrow width that prevents more than a few napkins from being pulled through the throat at one time. The dispensing throat further includes a finger access portion to help a user grip and pull a paper napkin through the dispensing slot despite the relatively narrow width of the dispensing slot.

Abstract: The device for dispensing multi-fold paper towels has a housing for holding a generally vertical stack of the paper towels and including a lower portion through which individual towels can be dispensed from the stack. The lower portion includes an elongated opening through which a fold of the bottommost towel can extend and be accessible for a user to grab and pull the bottommost towel from the stack. One side portion of the towels rest on a plurality of laterally spaced ribs or ramps located in the vicinity of the front edge of the opening and inclined at an angle upwardly and forwardly relative to the front edge. These ribs or ramps effectively transfer a portion of the pressure applied by the stack on the bottommost towel toward the rear, thereby reducing the force required to pull the bottommost towel from the stack. The opening preferably is shaped to cause the fold of the bottommost towel to assume a C-like shape and thereby reduce the amount of the fold readily accessible to a user.

A first end wall defines a dispensing throat for permitting removal of paper products from the interior area. A mechanism urges paper products within the interior area toward the dispensing throat in a dispensing direction. A first, second and third of the exterior walls intersect the first end wall on opposite sides of the first exterior wall forming a portion of the interior surface. Protrusions extend from the portion of the interior surface on the second and third exterior walls into the interior area for contacting the paper products to oppose the mechanism for urging. The protrusions on the second wall are staggered from the protrusions on the third wall in the dispensing direction.

Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing objects such as billiard chalk and containers of powder comprises a housing with a front door and two hoppers in it, one hopper for a stack of pairs of chalks and one for a stack of containers of powder, a shelf located below the hoppers, a chute beginning behind the shelf and leading to an access opening in the housing below its front door, and two coin mechanisms in the door of the housing. The coin mechanisms have push rods mounted so that they intercept the selected object when pushed. Placement of coins of the appropriate denomination enables the pushing of the push rods toward the selected object and its pushing from the shelf into the chute.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing folded, interleaved towels. The dispenser has front and back walls joined by side walls and a bottom wall with a central paper towel dispensing slot therein extending between the side walls. The dispenser has supports on the inner surfaces of the front and back walls for partially supporting sub-stacks of a stack of paper towels carried in the dispenser. The supports reduce the weight of towels carried by the bottom sub-stack of towels making it easier to dispense the towels. The dispenser also has support surfaces at the bottom for supporting the bottom towel by narrow portions adjacent its front and back sides making it easier to dispense one towel at a time.

Abstract: A device for preventing napkins from bunching at the dispensing opening in a napkin dispenser. A pair of pressure relief rods are provided along the upper and lower portions of the dispenser face plate to relieve pressure between the face plate and the center portion of the napkin stack. Accordingly, the friction between each napkin is substantially reduced, thereby permitting individual napkins to be withdrawn from the dispenser without displacing napkins remaining in the stack.

Abstract: A dispenser for folded paper napkins including an enclosed cabinet having an opening in the front thereof through which napkins may be removed individually. A pair of V-shaped guides are mounted on inside surfaces of opposite sides of the cabinet. A drawer for holding a supply of folded napkins has a pair of V-shaped ribs formed along opposite sides which slidably engage the guides to movably support the drawer within the cabinet. A carriage assembly including a pressure plate for engaging the rear of the napkin supply in the drawer has a pair of V-shaped slides affixed to opposite sides. The sides slidably engage the ribs to movably support the carriage assembly in the drawer. A pair of constant force springs are affixed to the cabinet and engage the rear of the pressure plate to urge the plate and carriage assembly forwardly of the drawer against the rear of the napkin supply to facilitate individual removal of the napkins through the cabinet opening.
