  • Publication number: 20090218365
Abstract: A liquid dispensing device including a dispense head configured to be placed and secured onto a bottle of liquid in a manner which enables the liquid to be dispensed. The dispense head includes a stopper having gas inlets and a liquid intake tube. A gas intake and a dispense spout are also mounted on the dispense head. A valve assembly allows pressurized gas to be introduced into the dispense head and into the bottle of liquid such that selective channeling of gas or liquid can be controlled to flow through the dispense spout thus enabling either liquid to pour through the spout or gas to clear the spout. A system utilizing this dispense head and a method of dispensing liquid using this head are possible with this device.

Abstract: The self-contained octopus adapter of the invention has a plurality beer outlets and sits between the pump and the Sanke coupler and transmits beer out and air in through channels similar to those in the devices on either side. The beer supply to any given one faucet of the plurality of faucets or taps is not sent through a single hose line at any time and the flow of beer or other beverage may be increased. Seals on the device will aid in maintenance of pressure and avoidance of leaks. No division of the hose lines is necessary, nor external pressure increases, and thus the unit is self-contained. In an alternative embodiment, the invention may comprise a self-contained pump replacement unit having a CO2 or other gas cartridge which sits upon the various devices of the beer flow path and provides gas from above.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for correcting a cock driving device in a beverage dispense. A manipulating lever for a dispensing cock is correctly opened and closed at all times by the cock driving device. The manipulating lever for the dispensing cock is provided with an interlock member which moves back and forth integrally with the lever, and the interlock member is provided with a magnet. A pair of hole elements capable of sensing the magnet are arranged one behind the other, spaced from each other, on a mounting plate arranged on a slider. The magnet is set to face an intermediate position of both hole elements of the slider staying at a standby position, with the dispensing cock staying at a neutral position. A control board moves the slider for correction to a position at which the magnet reaches the intermediate position of the hole elements if the magnet does not face the intermediate position of the pair of hole elements.
