Abstract: The basic idea behind the Stillwell Suit Hanger is to make hanging a suit of clothes (pants or skirt and matching jacket) more efficient than the way they exist with an ordinary hanger. This is accomplished by making a double decker hanger that allows the pants (skirt) to hang above the jacket rather than beneath it, thus eliminating the need to dig around inside the body of the jacket to get the pants (skirt) off of the hanger when getting dressed or back on the hanger when getting undressed.

  • Patent number: 8523027
Abstract: A hanger system with hooks attached to and suspended from a hanging or stationary frame, and from one to a multiplicity of rods capable of holding garments or other items, which rest in the hooks. The hooks are designed to allow the rods to rest in vertical relation to one another within the hooks although, depending on the hanging orientation of the hanger system, the rods may hang adjacent to or diagonal from one another. The frame may be hung from a closet rod or similar support, or may be attached to a surface such as a wall or a shelf, either directly or with spacers between the frame and the surface.

Abstract: An exemplary rotatable hanger assembly includes a mounting portion, a close-loop frame, a control device, and a number of hooks. The close-loop frame is connected to the mounting portion, and includes a carrier belt movable along the close-loop frame. The control device includes a first drive unit connected to the carrier belt to drive the carrier belt to move along the close-loop frame. The hooks are connected to the carrier belt and configured to have garments hung therefrom. Thus, the hooks are capable of moving along the close-loop frame when the carrier belt moves along the close-loop frame, thereby allowing aspects of the garments relative to the position of the sun to change.
