With the line separators still attached to the base plate, the stripping basket can be quickly unfolded for use. This is convenient when on board a boat, awaiting a turn to fish. For longer term storage, such when packing in a suitcase for travel, the line separators can be removed for maximum portability.

    Abstract: A holster for securing a pistol having a barrel with a chamber, a muzzle, a slide having a front and rear portion, includes (a) an open-bottom enclosure sized to accommodate the slide, wherein a cavity defined in a front portion of the enclosure is sized to receive the muzzle but not allow the slide to enter therein; (b) a securing member pivotally attached within the enclosure near a rear portion thereof and shaped to correspondingly mate with a rear portion of the slide; (c) a lever disposed externally to the enclosure and attached via a connecting member to the securing member; (d) a spring disposed between an interior surface of the enclosure and the securing member; and (e) a protuberance extending from the interior surface of the enclosure and sized to be received into the chamber when the pistol is secured within the enclosure.

    Abstract: Two components slide with respect to one another, and hold a stack of cards. A first component includes three members extending into a chamber formed by its C-shaped cross-section. When the components are slid apart, the first card in the stack is partially exposed. The card is pushed back past the outer members providing resistance to prevent the cards from moving while allowing only the top card to be pushed past the outer appendages to expose the next card. When the components are pushed together, a bump on an L-shaped component assures that the cards are aligned in a stack. The two outer members include tangs at their terminations that retain a stack of cards within the chamber and prevent them from sliding past. Between the outer members, a central spring extends in an angled configuration into the chamber and presses against the cards and frictionally retains them in position within the chamber.

    Abstract: The dual magazine pouches allows one of the two magazines to be partially ejected from the pouch automatically when the pouch is opened so that a shooter has quick and easy access to the magazine yet the remaining magazine is retained securely within the pouch. The pouches include a main body formed by a cargo pocket sewn to a back/flap, which extends above the cargo pocket and folds over to enclose the open mouth of the pouch, and an “elevator” mechanism, which automatically raises one of the magazine when the pouch is opened. The “elevator” mechanism is provided by two elastic members: an elastic retention band and an elastic “elevator” band or cord. The retention band snugly holds a first ammunition magazine against the back/flap when fully inserted into the pouch. The elevator band forms a “saddle” within which a second ammunition magazine sits. Fully inserting the second magazine stretches the elevator band.
