Abstract: A magazine accessory includes a magazine pouch including a body having an open end for inserting or removing therethrough a magazine. An elastic retention device is pivotally coupled to the body at a pivot so that the elastic retention device can be positioned over the open end. The elastic retention device is constructed of an elastic cord with a stiffening layer, such that the elastic cord can be pulled over the magazine and press against the magazine to retain the magazine in the body of the magazine pouch. The stiffening layer keeps the elastic retention device pivoted away from the magazine when the elastic retention device is pivoted away from the magazine towards a side of the body.

Abstract: A retainer clip including a body having a first end, second end, top, bottom, first side and second side. An arm extends from the body at a junction on the second end of the body. The arm is preferably folded so as to extend along the bottom of the body such that the arm is spaced from the body. The body includes an aperture which extends through the body from the top to the bottom. A stop pin is positioned in the aperture and is capable of extending into the space between the bottom of the body and the arm.

Abstract: Representative implementations of devices and techniques provide locking systems and/or retention mechanisms for an implement holster (such as a handgun holster, for example). Additionally, an implement holster having one or more locking systems and/or retention mechanisms is also described. Locking systems and retention mechanisms may be used individually with a holster or combined for multi-level security of the implement. The one or more locking systems can provide obstruction to the removal of the implement from the holster until intentionally unlocked by the user. Locking systems include hood locks, ejection port locks, and sight covers. Adjustable retention mechanisms can provide a desired retention of the implement while holstered, retaining the implement until a sufficient force is applied to remove the implement.

Abstract: A play tent including a floor having a top surface and a bottom surface, the top surface is positioned inside the play tent, and one or more sidewalls extending from the floor. The play tent further includes an audio device with an actuator configured to turn the audio device on and off from inside of the play tent, and a coupling member that removably couples the audio device to the top surface of the floor. The coupling member has a pocket that houses the audio device and an attachment device that removably couples the pocket to the top surface of the floor.

Abstract: A simple, belt clip—mudpan combination to attach a joint compound, spackle, or mastic holding pan to a user's belt for free hand use of such pan, keeping the mudpan secure, stable, and at the ready for the user.

Abstract: A holster with an adjustable-depth “pocket” for hands-free use and carrying of electronic devices. The pocket is “sleeve like” and is defined by four walls, a stirrup webbing on the bottom, and an elastic restraining cord on top, thus forming a six-element restraining system for dampening device movement. The tongue forms a “stirrup” pendent from the front wall that is looped below the pocket and brought up inside the pocket, where it reversibly and adjustable attaches inside the back wall. The elastic cord is fastened superiorly on the back wall and is secured to the front wall near the top lip with a snap or clasp so that the device is immobilized while permitting access to device controls. The upper lips of the side walls are angulated so as to form a “guide slot” or “rails” for self-centering and guiding the device into the stirrup. The holster may be integrated into complex wearable combinations that are comfortable, durable and multifunctional.

Abstract: A tool retaining apparatus including a base and a tool support secured to the base. The tool support has a pair of spaced arms for supporting a tool there between. A securement member is disposed on the base between the two arms. The support member has a distal end. The distal end and the pair of spaced arms forming a tool holding space there between adapted to receive at least a portion of a tool. The distal end is movable between a first position wherein a path to the tool holding space is closed to prevent removal of the tool therefrom and a second position wherein the path is open to permit removal of the tool from the tool holding space.

Abstract: Disclosed is a shelf having a slanted base. In example embodiments the base may include a protrusion configured to engage an electronic device, such as, but not limited to, a camera. Example embodiments also relate to a system having the shelf and the electronic device.

Abstract: The small game carriage includes an elongated tube having an inner diameter at least the size of the head of small game to be carried. An elongated slot, running parallel to the longitude of the tube, is formed through the wall of the tube. The width of the slot is wide enough to accommodate the neck of small game to be carried, but is too small for the head of the taken game to pass radially through the slot. The slot has a terminus near the end of the tube to stop small game from sliding out the bottom of the small game carrier and prevent spreading of the slot near the bottom of the tube. A reinforcing ring may be used near the top of the tube to reduce spreading of the slot near the top of the tube.

Abstract: A holder for carrying cell phones and other small items is arranged to attach to a belt or other strap, or to a belt loop. The holder is of simple construction, including an elongated backing member and a cover that is attached to the bottom region of the backing member to form a pocket or holster that is open at the top. The backing member is divided near its upper end by a fold to form a first flap and a generally rectangular opening through the backing member, sized and shaped to accommodate a belt loop, is placed adjacent to and below the fold. A second flap is attached to the backing member at a location adjacent to and below the opening and is arranged to fold upwardly to cover the opening and to form a channel for a belt or other strap. The second flap is secured in that position by folding down the first flap and securing it to the second flap.

Abstract: The preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a device that encapsulates and carries a pet toy, such as a ball, by means of a flexible structure with an opening able accept the toy. This device may also incorporate a constraining mechanism to ensure the retention of the pet toy. The device may also incorporate a fastening mechanism providing means to affix the device to a strap like object.

Abstract: A support cushion comprising a first member comprising a first support surface and a second member coupled to the first member, the second member comprising a second support surface. The second member is configured to move relative to the first member between a first configuration and a second configuration. The first support surface of the first member and the second support surface of the second member are configured to cooperatively support a first electronic device when the second member is in the first configuration, and the first support surface of the first member is configured to support a second electronic device when the second member is in the second configuration.

Abstract: Implement lock assembly for retaining batons, nightsticks, and other handheld devices within a holster. The assembly includes a base, a lock, and a release. Operation of the assembly is by a user applying pressure to the lock, pivotally moving the lock from an open position to a closed position. In the normal open position, an implement may be inserted or removed from the holster. In the closed position, the lock retains the implement within the holster. The lock may be opened by applying pressure to the release. The lock may engage and retain a baton along the length of the baton grip, allowing a user to adjust the position of the baton within the holster when the baton is retained by the lock.

Abstract: A device holster may be adjustable to accommodate different sized devices, such as guns, weapons, tools, etc. One example configuration may include a front cover that includes a number of engaging snap portions and a molded surface area that provides a cavity shaped as a hand gun barrel and hand gun trigger housing, and a rear cover with a larger surface area than the front cover which provides a number of receiving snap portions corresponding to the engaging snap portions.

Abstract: A device holster may be adjustable to accommodate different sized devices, such as guns, weapons, tools, etc. One example configuration may include a front cover that includes a number of engaging snap portions, and a rear cover with a number of receiving snap portions that engage the engaging snap portions, and each of the receiving snap portions also has a screw and a receiving nut that is adjustable to increase or decrease a retention and a corresponding distance between the front cover and the rear cover.

Abstract: A belt clip for supporting a paint container from a user's waist belt while allowing the painter spill free freedom of movement and secure means for stowing a paint brush. The belt clip has an integral body configured to have an elongated back, a neck extending outward from the proximal end of the back, a head, and a magnet embedded in the head. The belt clip is configured to have a recessed channel for receiving the bail of the paint can and a separate integral hook part for supporting a paint container having a peripheral lip. The back is configured to allow the belt clip to pivot slightly side to side about the wearer thereby accommodating a limited range wearer movement. The magnet allows a user to secure a paint brush to belt clip so that the bush is oriented directly over the open paint can, thereby reducing inadvertent painting errors and messes.

Abstract: A belt mountable tool lanyard device includes an enclosure having diametrically opposed first and second openings, a plurality of internal dividers within the enclosure forming a plurality of lanyard device chambers wherein each chamber has at least one chamber opening that faces in the same direction as one of the first and second openings and wherein at least one of the plurality of chambers has a second chamber opening diametrically opposed to the one chamber opening forming a belt receiving loop.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding electronic devices within view of a user without having to utilize the user's hands. The apparatus comprises a wearable base that extends around a user's torso and/or neck. A stand that comprises a frame, device holder and attachment member that is releasably attached into the base. The stand is capable of maneuvering the device through all range of motion to assist user in the viewing of the device without hands.

Abstract: A cellular telephone holster is provided. The holster is formed of walls defining a cavity to hold the cellular telephone. The holster may be attached to a user's belt, pants, other article of clothing, or accessory. A spacing is defined by one of the walls, preferably a front wall. This spacing extends from one end of the wall to the other. In operation, a user may pass a finger through the spacing to access a cellular telephone or other device stored therein, and by drawing the finger through the length of the spacing, easily remove the cellular telephone.

Abstract: A baton holster includes a cylindrical body part for keeping a baton, an attachment attached to the body part, and locking means for locking the baton into the body part. The baton holster further includes a frame arranged to be locked at least partly on top of the baton. In an arrangement in the baton holster a lower end of the baton includes locking stops and the body part of the baton holster includes a catch for locking the baton into the body part.

Abstract: A support sling is provided having a plastic body portion, which may optionally be covered with fabric, and two orthogonally positioned straps. The body portion has an adjustably sized cup for receiving the cam or point of a compound or recurved bow, respectively, the size of the cup being adjustable to accommodate differing sized cams. Slots in the vertically extending web portion of the body receive the straps. At least some of the slots have angled extensions which permit the straps to being reoriented relative to the body portion as the hunter shifts position or moves the bow holder to an alternate location.

Abstract: An inventive wearable utility carrying strap is provided for improved user access and experience with devices mounted thereon. The wearable utility carrying strap enables a user to configure an arrangement of devices that maintains the user's desired set of device orientations even during user movement. Embodiments of the strap have one or more spring loaded stud securements that hold a device in a user specified position. Embodiments of the strap used in the inventive utility carrying strap may be formed from natural or synthetic materials including but not limited to cotton, leather, suede, polypropylene, nylon, rubber, neoprene, plastic, etc. The strap may be fitted to a user limb by adjusting the strap slack with a buckle.

Abstract: A quick release device for preventing unintended withdrawal of a handgun from a holster comprises a generally U-shaped hood with mutually spaced legs spanned by a bridge. The legs are arranged to straddle the holster, with the hood being rotatable about a fixed first axis between a rearward position at which the bridge overlies the holster opening, and a forward position at which the bridge is removed from the holster opening. At least one interior side plate is fixed with respect to the holster at a location adjacent to one of the hood legs. The interior side plate defines a guide path bordered by and extending forwardly from a locking notch. A trigger plate is connected to the hood leg for rotation about a second axis parallel to the first axis. The trigger plate is rotatable about the second axis to disengage the boss from the locking notch, thereby freeing the boss for movement along the guide path as the hood is rotated about the first axis from its rearward position to its forward position.

Abstract: A universal mobile device holster is disclosed, the holster including a shell having a front side and a back side, which together define a cavity with an opening adapted to receive a mobile device. The holster also includes at least one forward-urging spring attached within the cavity, and adapted for applying forward force for aligning and for applying forward gripping pressure on a mobile device held within the cavity for ensuring that the mobile device is removably secure within the holster.

Abstract: The present invention is related to a structure of a tool holding sheath which comprises: a first accommodation body defined by a plurality of first accommodation spaces; and a second accommodation body pivoted with the first accommodation body; wherein the second accommodation body is defined by a plurality of second accommodation spaces set with the first accommodation spaces interlacedly. Through the above-mentioned structure, a user may receive the wrench tools in order and fit into the first accommodation spaces and the second accommodation spaces to have better positioning and holding functions. And, the interlaced design of the present invention can hold the wrench tools having versatile specifications and sizes and can facilitate a user to take and use the wrench tools, such that the present invention has the practical objectives of convenient using and holding for the wrench tools.

Abstract: A tool box includes a box body having a top cover and a bottom cover which are pivoting on each other, two foldable sets which are both assembled to the top cover and the bottom cover, at least one positioning base is assembled between the two foldable sets. Under this arrangement, the positioning base can be rotated outward relative to the bottom cover by the operation of the two foldable sets. Therefore, the user can pull out the tool bit from the positioning base directly without bending up the tool bit by the finger thereof at first.

Abstract: The subject matter discloses an apparatus, having an envelope and a base for holding a grenade, a rear cover connected to the envelope for attaching said envelope to a vest; a top cover to secure the grenade from above when positioned in a downward position and moving upwards to an upward position; a spring connected to the top cover and to the envelope and a button that causes the top cover to move to the upward position when pressed by the user. The button is located below the top cover and connected only to one of the envelope or the rear cover. The user of the apparatus can release the grenade from the apparatus while pressing the button and the envelope is designed to enable the user to hold the grenade and the grenade lever singlehandedly when pressing the button and when releasing the grenade from the apparatus.

Abstract: A light bulb carrying device is provided for transporting light bulbs to a fixture for installation. Locations for attachment of light bulbs allow the bulbs to be worn on the user's body for access to a light fixture without the need for occupying the user's hands in carrying the light bulbs during transportation.

Abstract: A holster device for securely holding a tool can include a stationary retention feature and a sliding retention member securing a first portion of the tool and pressing a second portion of the tool against the stationary retention feature. The tool is retained to the holster device between the stationary retention feature and the sliding retention member. The holster device can be configured such that a force applied to the tool moves the sliding retention member away from the stationary retention feature and releases the tool from the holster device.

Abstract: A system or device for securely holding mountain tools, such as ice axes/ice tools and hiking, skiing or avalanche probe poles (and other such tools), on a backpack in a manner that allows the user to easily and conveniently acquire the tool when needed without first removing the backpack. This is applicable in emergency situations such as a crevasse fall where an ice axe in needed for preparing a rescue anchor or in the event of an avalanche where a probe pole is needed for a victim search. The system also allows for easy and convenient stowing of mountain tools without removal of the backpack as the situation dictates in non-emergency situations, such as after using the probe pole to probe for crevasses when crossing a glacier or after needing an ice tool for security when a repelling (abseiling) onto an icy stance or when stashing hiking poles when switching from hiking to scrambling.

Abstract: The subject matter discloses an apparatus, including an envelope for holding a grenade, the grenade comprises a grenade lever and a grenade safety pin; an attaching utensil for attaching the envelope to a garment of a person; a safety lever container connected to the envelope, the safety lever container is configured to secure the grenade lever, such that the grenade is oriented in a predetermined direction and a ring holder connected to the envelope, the ring holder is configured to hold the safety pin, such that the safety pin is detached from the grenade responsive to removal of the grenade from the envelope.

Abstract: Holstering retractor devices or systems for securing a device or instrument when not in use, such that the instrument does not have to be held or slid into a pocket. The systems are coupled with a retracting device, integrated into the holster, such that if said instrument or device pops out of holster, or is dropped while in use, it is not lost or damaged. The present invention is also directed to systems utilizing the holster retractors, such as vest system having the holster retractor mounted to the vests.

Abstract: A holster for securing an accessory device to a user includes a receiving body defining an interior space adapted to receive the device, and having two opposing open ends along an axis thereof, each allowing insertion and withdrawal of the device. Retaining means disposed in the body retain the device within the interior space, permitting withdrawal only upon application of an external force of a predetermined magnitude and in a direction along the axis of the receiving body. Attachment means on the body may detachably secure the receiving body to a user. In one embodiment, an elongate, flexible panel includes ends configured to releasably mate to form the body, and an attachment strap on the panel also includes mating ends, which, when mated, prevent the mated ends of the panel from disengaging. A magnet mounted on the panel magnetically engages and thereby retains the device held in the body.

Abstract: A scabbard for axes or tomahawks that provides a lightweight and foldable integrated head cover configuration that encloses the respective sharpened surfaces of the weapon in multiple pivoted hard case covers for safety and transport on the person of the user.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding a gas tank includes a bottom element which is mounted to a supporting surface and a cover element pivotally mounted to the cradle. The cover element has at least one device for holding a gas tank. The apparatus further includes a system for rotating the cover element relative to the bottom element so as to raise the gas tank from a storage position to a substantially vertical operational position so that an individual can don the gas tank. In a preferred embodiment, the rotating system includes an L-shaped track attached to the bottom element, a raised portion with an aperture attached to the cover element, and a guide rod which has a first end in the aperture and a second end which engages with and slides in the L-shaped track.

Abstract: An organizer having a sheet of material divided into at least two rows and at least two columns. Each row and each column has an enclosed space sized to receive an object. Objects can be stored in the enclosed spaces and an object can be positioned on the front portion of the sheet. An object retainer having expandable and adjustable bands are attached to the sheet to secure the object to the sheet of material. The material is folded in a manner such that hanging members act as handles and transport the object.

Abstract: A holder for a flashlight with a sheath that is variably positionable during use. A variably positionable sheath formed with a cavity and having an axial post. At least one u-shaped flexible removable grasping member is formed in the cavity. The u-shaped member has bent arms that apply pressure to the flashlight bell when it is inserted into the cavity. A disk with a plurality of pegs is rotatably mounted on the sheath, with o-rings that wrap both around pegs on the disk and around the pegs on the sheath or disk base, allowing the sheath to be rotated by the user and causing it to return automatically to its original position. A clip is engaged for securing the sheath to the user. A method for manufacturing a holder for a flashlight with a sheath that is variably positionable during use.

Abstract: A configurable wrist or arm worn camera harness (1a) that facilitates convenient carry, access, and secure use of a camera during participation in a physical activity. Camera harness (1a) is comprised of an adjustable strap system for attaching harness (1a) to operator wrist or arm and a coupling system for attaching, one at a time, cameras of various shapes and sizes to aforementioned harness (1a) in a either a manner that allows camera to be moved pivotably while attached to harness (1a) and operator or in a manner that secures camera in a fixed, non-pivoting position. A clasping system is incorporated to harness (1a) to secure camera in a first secure flat carry position on operator wrist or arm. Clasping system can be released by operator to allow camera to be pivotably moved upright into a second secure position for the purpose of taking a photograph.

Abstract: Provided are, among other things, apparatuses for supporting a video camera. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes: a harness adapted for wearing on a user's upper body, the harness including a front section which, in use, covers at least a portion of at least one of the user's chest and abdomen, and a rear section which, in use, covers at least a portion of the user's back; and a flexible rod having a proximal end secured to the rear section of the harness and a distal end that extends up above the harness when the flexible rod is unweighted.

Abstract: A lightweight carrier for golf clubs may comprise a hollow tubular support member, a handle attached to the hollow tubular support member for carrying the carrier and further configured for holding a green repair tool and a ball mark, a club holder upper base attached to the handle and configured for holding golf clubs and tees, and a club holder lower base attached to the tubular support member and configured for holding grips of the golf clubs. The lightweight carrier may further comprise pins extending from the club holder lower base to be pushed into the ground and a pin cover pivotally attached to the club holder lower base and configured to cover the pins when they are not pressed into the ground. The hollow tubular support member may removably store golf balls therein to be released via a manipulation tab.

Abstract: A pocket for an article having oppositely facing sides, comprising a front component cooperating in a nested relationship with a back component to define a chamber having an open upper end sized to receive the article. The front and back components, when in their nested relationship, having confronting front and back walls and overlapping bottom walls closing the lower end of the chamber. The bottom walls are interconnected in a manner accommodating movement of the front component relative to the back component between a closed position at which the sides of an article received in the chamber via the open upper end are tightly confined between the front and back walls, and a release position at which the front wall is deflected away from the back wall to accommodate removal of the article from the chamber via the open upper end. A back mounting bar extends across and cooperates in spaced relationship with the exterior of the back wall to define parallel back channels.

Abstract: A holder for the shank of a tool comprising a cylinder having a series of shoulders and grooves in radial formation with the shoulders and grooves allowing for O-rings to penetrate to the interior and exterior of the cylinder to form a means whereby the shank of a tool can be inserted and the tool held in position. As an alternative embodiment the shoulders and grooves can be helical around the cylinder with rubber latex tubing in the grooves and penetrating to the interior and exterior of the cylinder to thereby hold a tool or implement. Also note that a tool can be inserted at either end of the cylinder; and that an oversize cylinder can be inserted over the cylinder and held by the exterior portion of the O-ring or latex tubing. A special embodiment of this invention is the formation of a grommet employing a tubular portion to form a ring into which is cut grooves forming shoulders and into which is inserted an O-ring to form a grommet.

Abstract: A case for a portable electronic device such as cell phones, cameras, MP3 players and PDAs wherein said case includes material at the corners to provide protection to the electronic device. To reduce bulk at the corners and allow the material forming the case to conform with the contours of the device, the protection at the corners includes strips of material defining apertures there between. The apertures provide reduction in bulk and allow the case to conform to the corners of the device therein. Alternately, the protection at the corners can be provided by other structures co-molded into the corners of the cases. Such structures include material that is of a reduced thickness than other material used in the case, or structures that are formed to conform to the corners of the case. Such structures can be joined to the material forming the panels of the case by co-molding.
