Abstract: A sighting system for use with firearms, including an LED light, a power source for powering the LED light, a circuit that receives current from the power source and provides current to the LED light, wherein the current provided to the LED light is lower than 1% of a minimum forward current listed for the LED light by the LED light manufacturer and responsive to the current the LED light provides light that is visible at least in a dark environment, a housing for encasing the LED light, power source and circuit to act as an independent unit; wherein the housing is designed to be retrofit entirely on top of the firearm, so that in dim light a user is guided by light from the LED light to align the firearm toward a target.

Abstract: An electronic accessory for a firearm comprising: a housing including an attachment mechanism for securing the electronic accessory to the firearm, the housing containing components of the electronic accessory. The components of the electronic accessory comprising: an electronic component, a sensor, a circuit board, and a power source. The sensor senses a magnetic field. The circuit board is coupled to the electronic component and the sensor. The circuit board controls the electronic component and suspends power to the electronic component when the sensor senses a magnetic field above a threshold strength. The power source is coupled to the circuit board and provides power to at least one of: the electronic component, the sensor and the circuit board.

Abstract: A holster broadcasts a message indicating that a weapon has been removed from the holster. A recorder, in response to authenticating the message, controls recording of audio and video. The message may include an identifier of the holster. The recorder may maintain a white list of identifications and ignore messages with identifications that are not on the white list. The message, instead of being broadcast, may be transmitted with an address of an intended recorder.

Abstract: An assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a base portion and a selectively rotatable portion attached to the base portion. The base portion includes a first subassembly attached to a second subassembly. The first subassembly includes a housing that at least partially contains an actuator. The second subassembly includes a housing receiver that retains the housing. The selectively rotatable portion includes an indexing member attached to an implement carrier portion. The actuator of the base portion is selectively interfaced with the indexing member of the selectively rotatable portion in order to permit the selectively rotatable portion to be arranged relative the base portion in one of two orientations being a rotatably-locked orientation and a freely rotatable orientation.

Abstract: A gun support system for supporting a firearm on a tree without permanently altering the tree. The gun support system has a supporting means for supporting a firearm, a mounting means for placing the gun support system against the tree, and an attachment means for temporarily attaching the gun support system to the tree. The supporting means allows the firearm to rest in a substantially upright position against it for easy and ready access by the user. The attachment means is adjustable for use on trees having different diameters. When disassembled, the gun support system is compact and lightweight for ease in transport and storage.

Consumers can use the GraffitiWall™ to modify and display a sponsor's brand information in any way desired. Consumer modifications are immediately communicated to the other member consumers and the advertiser/sponsor. Consumers can rate the GraffitiWall™, or portions thereof, and email the GraffitiWall™. An archive of GraffitiWalls™ is maintained by the system. Consumers participate in online focus groups, one-to-one interviews and discussions, as well as games and promotions pertaining to the brand.

Abstract: A multi-purpose holster attaches to surfaces/objects, to retain an electronic device in a desirable position for hands-free use as a camera or video recorder. An elastic first strap extends transversely from a main body of the holster, wraps around the electronic device and fastens to itself to capture the device in portrait orientation. An elastic second strap extends parallel to the main body and around the electronic device, and fastens to the rear of the main body or to a portion of the first strap to capture the device in landscape orientation. The holster may include suction cup, loop and/or other suspension mechanisms to suspend the holster from the vertical surface of other object, and/or the first and second straps may be used to strap the holster to the surface/object.

Abstract: A holster for a portable device is described that comprises a dispensing mechanism coupled to the housing comprising a reservoir defining an interior volume for holding a substance to be dispensed and an applicator for dispensing a portion of said substance from the interior volume of the reservoir to a portion of a surface of said portable device. The holster may be used to dispense a substance such as a disinfecting liquid or a cleaning gel onto a surface of the portable device.

Abstract: An instrument carrier is disclosed for supporting one or more drums without using traditional “J” rods components. The carrier uses sliders that eliminate the interference with the user's legs and more particularly the user's thighs and provides a more natural stride of the user. The drum mounting structure is repositioned or translated on the sliders. The carrier allows the drum to be rigidly mounted in a variety of positions relative to the user. The cantilevered weight of the drum(s) rotates the drum or drum array to lock the drum(s) into a vertical or horizontal slots or saddle. In another embodiment a bridge extends from the carrier to a single post or tube to support a slidably mounted single drum. The structure also eliminates the necessity of a structurally rigid fixed abdomen plate and allows for use of a flexible and conforming abdomen plate.

Abstract: A carrying case for heated food containers, particularly slow cookers, has a flexible bottom wall, side wall and lid so that it can be adjusted to accommodate food containers of various different dimensions. A clamp assembly is provided for securely holding a lid on the food container within the carrying case to thereby minimize the likelihood of accidentally spilling its contents. Means are provided for carrying other items on the lid of the carrying case. The case has a belt which can be tightened to adjust the case to different sizes of containers and straps forming a handle.

Abstract: A combination holster is disclosed for use with weapons having a front stock and a butt-stock, wherein the combination holster comprises a front stock holster having an interior portion and an exterior portion, the interior portion mimicking the contour of the front stock, and a butt-stock retraction means having a first connection to the body of the user and a second connection to the butt stock. The butt-stock retention means may be a retractable cord connected to the body of the user with a vest. In use, the weapon is secured in a first position whereby the front stock is securely gripped by the front-stock holster, and the butt-stock is securely retained near the body of the user with the butt-stock retraction means. The user may decide to unsecure the weapon by removing the front stock from the front-stock holster and applying a drawing force to the butt-stock retention means to pull the butt-stock away from the user's body, thereby enabling the user to properly utilize the weapon.

Abstract: An eyeglass holder attachable around the neck of, or to an article of clothing worn by the user for supporting a pair of eyeglasses. The eyeglasses are supported facing away from the user by the bridge and folded stems of the eyeglasses. A biasingly extendable retaining member elastically holds the bridge from substantial movement while enhancing adaptability of the device to a very broad range of eyeglass sizes and shapes. A support member which receives the bridge of the eyeglasses preferably includes a length of deformable wire or the like molded within, and extending at least part way through, the upright member and the support member which allows the support member to be repositioned for better eyeglass stem support and retention.

Abstract: A sports utility belt includes a belt adapted to be worn around the waste of a player, and a bat holder attached to the belt and adapted to hold either a baseball or softball bat. The bat holder has an inner surface contoured to fit a portion of the bat and hold the bat in a substantially horizontal position behind the player. The bat holder is preferably made from two sections separated by a living hinge that allows the bat holder to open and close. The sports utility belt may also include a pouch attached to the belt to hold a baseball or softball and a strap adapted to secure a baseball or softball glove to the belt.

Abstract: A holder for retaining an item, particularly a turkey call, other game call, clipboard, pad or the like on the limb of a user while leaving his or her hands free. The holder includes a base having a hollow center. Rubber feet are arranged about the hollow center to support the item. The item is held against the rubber feet by an elastic band. A nylon web strap, provided with a snap buckle, is used to secure the holder to the user's limb. A belt attached tether may be provided to assist in retaining the holder on a limb (e.g., the thigh) of the user.

Abstract: A protective carrying case for portable electronic equipment and method for making same wherein the case comprises a rigid, impact-resistant outer shell and a resilient, deformable inner shell to provide enhanced protection to the electronic equipment. The case includes a locking spring steel clip for securely attaching the case to the pant or belt of a person. The case is further equipped with an elastic strap which secures the equipment within the case, preventing inadvertent dislodging and possible damage to the equipment.

Abstract: Disclosed is a golf ball carrier for conveniently carrying and protecting a plurality of golf balls. A sleeve of padded material, open at both ends, has an elastic band at each end to retain the balls. A ball can be extracted by squeezing the sleeve above the ball, and balls can be inserted by pushing them past the band. The carrier may also incorporate holders for golf tees, and other items and a shoulder or belt strap and attachment clasp.

Abstract: The audio equipment carrier assembly is for attachment to a support member of a vehicle such as a bicycle or an aerobic exercise machine. The assembly includes a carrier assembly body in the form of a generally elongated flat plate adapted to carry a personal radio or other portable audio equipment. The plate has a centrally located depression of uniform depth in which is located a resilient shock absorbing pad having a height greater than the depth of the depression. The shock absorbing pad provides a cushion for the portable audio equipment which is placed thereon when the assembly is mounted on a bicycle. A strap of generally Y-shaped configuration includes an elongated stem. One end of the strap is connected in two places to one edge of the plate while the other end of the strap extends across the top of the portable audio equipment to frictionally hold same on the support plate. The free end of the strap extends through a slot in order to guide the strap along the other edge of the plate.

Abstract: A spray container storage and retrieval system encompassing both an apparatus and method enabling quick, safe retrieval of a spray container from a holster.In a first embodiment, a spray container with a forward trigger is stored in a specially designed sleeve having a special surface for securing the forward trigger from the discharge position. In a second embodiment, a flanged sleeve facilitates the springing displacement of a spray container having a safety flap over the discharge button and is intended to be used with a flap holster, and with a spray container which has no discharge button which can be utilized with a specialized structure on the sleeve. The third embodiment includes an open holster having an inwardly disposed locking groove which engages a pin collar fitted about the upper portion of a spray container, which can be re-used on subsequent spray containers by removing it from the used spray container and re-installing it on the new spray container.

Abstract: The spray container storage and retrieval system of the present invention encompasses both an apparatus and method enabling quick, safe retrieval of a spray container from a holster.In a first embodiment, a spray container with a forward trigger is stored in a specially designed sleeve having a special surface for securing the forward trigger from the discharge position. In a second embodiment, a flanged sleeve facilitates the springing displacement of a spray container having a safety flap over the discharge button and is intended to be used with a flap holster, and with a spray container which has no discharge button which can be utilized with a specialized structure on the sleeve. The third embodiment includes an open holster having an inwardly disposed locking groove which engages a pin collar fitted about the upper portion of a spray container, which can be re-used on subsequent spray containers by removing it from the used spray container and re-installing it on the new spray container.

Abstract: A camera carrier (10) is provided, having a camera case assembly (14) with a belt assembly (18) attached thereto. The belt assembly (18) is adapted to be worn about either a photographer's chest or waist. A case lid (16) is removably attached to the camera case assembly (14). A pair of adjustment strap assemblies (42) can be adjusted by means of a pair of double "D" ring assemblies (52) to cause the camera case assembly (14) to closely support a great variety of sizes of cameras (12). A pair of recessed areas (66) in the case lid (16) permit a neck strap (68) to be worn on the camera (12) and to protrude from the camera case assembly (14) even when the case lid (16) is closed such that the neck strap (68) may be worn around the photographer's neck when the camera carrier (10) is worn about the photographer's chest. The camera carrier (10) may optionally be used as a divider within a larger conventional camera bag (84).

Abstract: A knife and sheath combination including a pivotable mount, whereby, the sheath when empty hangs from the belt with its knife opening facing upward, however, when the knife is inserted into the sheath, the weight of the knife handle causes the sheath to revolve on its mount to a position wherein the knife opening faces downward. This arrangement allows the user to quick-draw the knife with a downward motion but may re-sheath the knife from the top position.

Abstract: The convertible chair and load carrier device includes a dorsal member, a load support member pivotally mounted on the dorsal member, and a harness for attaching the dorsal member on the back of a user person. The load support member can be pivoted between first and second positions and locked in either one of these two positions. In its first position, the load support member is capable of supporting a load to thereby allow the user person to carry it on his back. In the second position of the load support member, this member forms the seat of a chair and the dorsal member the back of the same chair.

Abstract: This invention pertains to a container system (10) which is adapted to be removably coupled to the body (20) of a user (22). The container system (10) includes a container housing (24) and a cover member (48) having a cut-out portion (60) which is adapted to be contiguously mounted around the neck of the user. The container system (10) includes a releasable coupling mechanism (64) having a strap member (66) which is passed around the neck (62) of the user (22) and is of adjustable length to accomodate differing sized users (22). In this manner, there is provided a container system (10) which is disposable by the user (22) after use and is releasably secured in an adjustable manner around the neck (62) of the user (22) to perform a bib-like function and serve as a temporary table or tray for the objects being used.

Abstract: A carry case for a portable hand held appliance such as a radio unit is disclosed which is constructed of a soft resilient shock absorbing material and includes a retainer bracket of semirigid material affixed to the interior back wall of the case. This bracket includes a self locating means for centering the portable appliance within the case and a latch means spring biased to locate and retain the portable appliance within the carry case. The radio may be removed by a user's hand contacting an upwardly extending flange to clear the latch means and permit the radio to be removed from the case.

Abstract: A holder for fluid dispensers, of the type having a removable lid and tubular dispensing stem, to hold the lid and stem in place during periods of non-use, said holder comprising a flexible sidewall with fasteners; an elastic bottom strap; an elastic top strap with fastener; and a stem receptacle. The holder will hold dispensers of varying circumference and diameters. The stem receptacle or pocket is provided with a top opening located directly beneath the top strap so that the top strap engages the dispenser lid and covers the top opening of the receptacle to both hold the lid and stem in place upon fastening. The lid may be provided on its top surface with a fastener of hook-loop material for engaging a mating fastener on the holder to prevent loss of the lid during use of the dispenser.

Abstract: This invention comprises an illuminated gunsight attachment for mounting on a weapon to permit the user to aim and shoot in low-light conditions. The illuminated gunsight includes a light-emitting diode for a front sight and an illuminated rod for a rear sight. The invention also includes a magnetic switch which automatically activates the power circuit to illuminate the sights as the revolver is withdrawn from its holster. The illuminated gunsight attachment is mounted unobtrusively on the barrel of a weapon to permit use of either conventional sight posts of the weapon or the illuminated sights of the invention. In one embodiment the rear sight is formed by a set of parallel lines comprised of flourescent markings located on opposite sides of an illuminated line. The invention also includes a firearm holster with a magnet thereon for activating the illuminated gunsight as it is withdrawn from the holster.

Abstract: The holder comprises an adjustable belt sized to be securely but comfortably affixed about the waist of a person engaging in vigorous athletic activity. Affixed to the belt is a pocket having an inner pocket or sleeve adjustable to tightly retain a stereo player therein and thereby prevent the player from inadvertently falling or bouncing out of the pocket. The sleeve is adjustably fastened with a tongue that extends through an aperture in the back of the pocket and belt. The aperture is positioned in the pocket back to best prevent movement of the stereo player relative to the pocket and the belt by pulling the player to the back of the pocket rather than completely enfolding the player in the sleeve. Thus, the object of preventing movement of the player relative to the wearer is better attained. Hook and loop fasteners join the tongue to the back of the belt. The belt includes a plurality of hook and loop fasteners spaced along a portion of the belt extending to one side of the pocket.

Abstract: Affixed to the back plate on opposite sides of a tank seat are brackets providing loops for detachable connection to hooks. An inelastic fabric web, such as of woven nylon, adjustably threads around a buckle bar on one hook, and returns along the inside of the web for firm attachment by hook and mesh fasteners such as "VELCRO". The other end of the web fixedly attaches to a metal loop that cooperates with a high leverage toggle mechanism. The toggle mechanism comprises but two parts, the first being a bar forming a hook detachably coupled to the corresponding back plate bracket, the second being a lever hinged to the bar and providing a recess to receive the loop for over center lock and release of the loop by toggle action.
