Abstract: An off-road vehicle has a frame, a motor, a steering input device, a storage bin disposed forward of the steering input device, the storage bin having side walls and a bottom wall, and an accessory holder assembly connected to the storage bin. The accessory holder assembly includes a receptacle having an upwardly facing receptacle aperture for receiving an accessory. The receptacle aperture is disposed within a perimeter defined by the side walls of the storage bin. The receptacle extends below the bottom wall of the storage bin. A height of a portion of the receptacle extending below the bottom wall of the storage bin being greater than a width of the receptacle aperture and greater than a length of the receptacle aperture.

Abstract: A modular cargo system for an off-road vehicle includes a triangular center case between a right side case and a left side case, each having a base attached downwardly to a platform on the vehicle while also defining a floor plane for resting on a flat floor surface. The side cases include non-parallel side walls, each defining an interior space large enough to hold a rider's helmet. Each case includes a handle on a hinged lid, enabling the side case to be carried with a single hand while the lid is closed. The hinge is on a leading side wall of the cases, latched on a trailing side wall of the cases, and clips to hold the side cases downward to the platform are on the trailing side walls.

Abstract: A modular ATM can include a cabinet module and a head module. The cabinet module can include an outer housing, a chest positioned in the outer housing to store notes of value, a transport mechanism to move the notes of value out of the chest, a base receiving section, and a first electrical connector forming an electrical connection to the transport mechanism. The head module can be removably engageable with the cabinet module and include a computing device, at least one user-interface device controlled by the computing device, a main structure supporting the at least one user-interface device and the computing device, a rear shroud connected to the main structure, a base supporting the main structure and the rear shroud, and a second electrical connector mounted in the base and forming an electrical connection to the computing device.

The movable body includes a first stop adapted to be restrained by a first end of the platform. Abstract: The exemplary embodiments herein provide a motorcycle saddlebag security enclosure assembly having an enclosure with a substantially flat top panel, an access door substantially parallel to the top panel, a bottom panel positioned below the top panel, and a plurality of side panels which connect between the top panel and bottom panel. Embodiments further contain a base adapted for removable attachment to the enclosure and having a substantially flat base plate, and a plurality of legs extending downwardly from the base plate. Preferably, a hook extending upwardly from the top panel and a pass-through aperture is placed on the same side of the enclosure as the hook. A C-shaped base element is placed beneath the base and near a central portion. A U-shaped channel extends below the top panel and accepts a sidewall of the access door.

Abstract: A motorcycle includes left and right side cases respectively configured to be attachable to and detachable from left and right portions of a body frame, left and right rotation supporters that respectively support upper portions of the left and right side cases, and left and right rotation attenuation mechanisms that respectively attenuate rotations of the left and right side cases about first and second axes. The left and right rotation attenuation mechanisms respectively include bolts that respectively extend in directions of the first and second axes, rotation members respectively connected to lower portions of the left and right side cases and being supported by the bolts to be rotatable about third and fourth axes that are different from the first and second axes, and inner outer cylindrical dampers respectively provided between the bolts and the rotation members.

Abstract: A quick release buckle device comprises a hanger seat and a limiting unit. The hanger seat includes a first pivotal portion and is connected to a first hook. The limiting unit includes a first stopper and a first pin. An end of the first stopper is pivotably mounted to the first pivotal portion. The first stopper is swayable between a first stop position and a first release position. The first pivotal portion has a first sliding groove. The first stopper has a second sliding groove at a non-parallel angle to the first sliding groove. The first pin is slidably received in the first and second sliding grooves.

Abstract: A saddle bag mounting bracket preferably includes a base plate, clamp lever, a latch lever, a pressure adjustment device, a first pin clamp and a second pin clamp. The clamp lever is slidably engaged with the base plate. The latch lever is pivotally retained on one end of the clamp lever and biased with an extension spring. The latch lever includes a finger release, such that clamp lever may be unlatched from a latch tab extending from the base plate. One end of the pressure adjustment device is adjustably connected to the second pin clamp and an opposing end is pivotally connected to the clamp lever. The first and second pin clamps lock the base plate into first and second pins extending from a motorcycle or the like, when the clamp lever is latched. A key lock is preferably used to prevent the clamp lever from being unlatched.

Abstract: Disclosed is a smartpack device detachably attached a bike. The smartpack device includes a housing, a locking unit, plurality of indication units, a battery unit, at least one camera, a tracking unit and a wireless communication unit, a computer and a battery unit to power peripheral electrical devices of the bike, and other components of the bike. The tracking unit monitor the movement of the bike and the wireless communication unit communicates the tracked data, processed digital content and sensed data over the communication network. The computer attached to the bike includes a memory unit to store plurality of modules, a touch display unit, and the processing unit. The plurality of modules includes a navigation module, a control module, and a monitoring module.

Abstract: Disclosed is a smartpack device detachably attached to chassis of a bike. The bike includes peripheral electrical devices. The smartpack device includes a housing, a separating assembly, a locking unit, plurality of indication units, a battery unit, a door, a computer and a battery unit to power the peripheral electrical devices of the bike, computer and plurality of indication units. The plurality of indication units is configured on the housing to emit light to indicate status of each peripheral electric device of the bike. The door connected to the housing to allow access to the battery. The computer is configured on the housing includes a memory unit to store plurality of modules, a touch display unit to display processed plurality of modules and to receive touch commands from a user to access the plurality of modules and the processing unit to process the plurality of modules and is coupled to the memory unit.

The first pin plate is attached to a bottom of the base plate at a first end. The first pin plate is offset to receive a first end of the clamp unit. One end of the second pin plate is attached to a bottom of the base plate at a second end. The second pin plate is offset to receive a second end of the clamp unit. First and second mounting pins are inserted through the first and second pin plates. The clamp lever is pushed down to secure the saddle bag to a motorcycle. An offset mounting bracket is used to offset the position of a mounting pin on a mounting pin base of a motorcycle.

Abstract: An opening/closing and hooking/releasing system of a suitcase for motorcycles is described, provided with a lower shell and an upper shell. On the bottom portion of the lower shell reversible hooking means to a support plate fixed to the motorcycle are provided. On the lower shell a plaque is made integral, on which are obtained a first release button of the suitcase with respect to the support plate, a second opening button of the upper shell and a locking block. The first and the second buttons are mobile along a predetermined direction. A rotatable under-locking ring is rigidly constrained to the locking block, said ring being provided with a pair of counter-posed protruding teeth and able to rotate in support on the side wall to shift from a first simultaneous blocking position of the first and second buttons to a second simultaneous release position of such first and second button.

Abstract: An improved carrier system is provided for easy attachment and detachment of the carrier from a wheeled conveyance such as a bicycle or motorcycle. When not attached to the conveyance, the carrier can also be used in a fashion similar to roller luggage.

Abstract: A motorcycle saddlebag includes an outer panel having a forward portion that defines a forward edge, a rearward portion that defines a rearward edge, and a side portion that defines a lower edge. The outer panel includes an inner surface. The inner panel is received by the outer panel and includes a back wall and a bottom wall. The back and bottom walls define an engagement surface that engages the inner surface of the outer panel and extends along and engages the forward portion, the side portion, and the rearward portion. When the saddlebag is attached to the motorcycle, the forward and rearward edges are positioned nearer a rear fender portion than the back wall and the engagement surface, and the lower edge is positioned below the bottom wall and the engagement surface. To facilitate such mounting, the collapsible basket has a pair of spaced hooks attached to the top edge of one side of the basket and a resilient flexible connector in the form of a loop of bungee cord attached near the bottom of the same side of the basket. The hooks of the basket are receivable over a portion of the deck of the luggage rack and the loop of the bungee cord is attachable to a lower portion of the luggage rack to secure the basket to the luggage rack.

Abstract: A collapsible detachable bicycle basket is constructed so as to be easily and readily mountable upon a luggage rack of a bicycle without the use of any threaded fasteners. To facilitate such mounting, the collapsible basket has a pair of spaced hooks attached to the top edge of one side of the basket and a resilient flexible connector in the form of a loop of bungee cord attached near the bottom of the same side of the basket. The hooks of the basket are receivable over a portion of the deck of the luggage rack and the loop of the bungee cord is attachable to a lower portion of the luggage rack to secure the basket to the luggage rack.

Abstract: A convertible motorcycle assembly has a chassis, a driver's seat, and a latch assembly which secures the driver's seat to the forward portion of the chassis. A bracket is mounted on the chassis adjacent the rearward end of the driver's seat, and selectively mounted on the chassis rearwardly of the driver's seat are interchangeable rear components comprising a passenger seat and a storage compartment. The forward end of the interchangeable rear components has at least one forwardly extending tongue engaged with the bracket, and the rear component is secured to the chassis by a second latch assembly adjacent the rear end of the rear component. This latch assembly includes a second releasable latch on the chassis and second key lock on the rear component engaged with the second latch assembly for effecting and preventing release of the second latch assembly.

Abstract: A golf bag system is provided for transporting a golf bag on a motorcycle, the system including an apparatus and method wherein a first bag side and a second bag side are utilized such that the first bag side is mounted on an opposing side of the motorcycle to the second bag side. When the golf bag is to be utilized to play golf, the golf bag system provides for the operative attachment of the first bag side to the second bag side to become an integral or combined golf bag. The respective golf bag sides include a framework and are mounted rearward of the first rider position on the motorcycle, and may be supported in part by foot pegs that would otherwise be utilized by a passenger on the motorcycle. There are cross supports and other means to attach the respective bag sides to and around the motorcycle and/or to each other for a balanced and comfortable operation of the motorcycle during the transport of the golf bag system.

Abstract: A motorcycle saddlebag mounting device having a restricting means for staggering timings of yawing occurring in a motorcycle body and resonance caused by lateral swing of a saddlebag is provided. The restricting means is provided between a support bracket mounted to a seat rail and a saddlebag mounting frame rotatably mounted to the support bracket. Rotation of the frame with respect to the support bracket is restricted, so that resonance caused by yawing of the motorcycle body and lateral swing of the saddlebag is cancelled out.

Abstract: The invention provides a method and apparatus utilized to mount a motorcycle fender, as well as one or more components, directly to an upper rear portion of a motorcycle frame. The upper rear portion of the frame includes one or more rear frame rails, each having a plurality of holes defined therein. These holes are further used in securing the fender and the one or more components.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for protecting the luster and finish of a motorcycle saddlebag. In a preferred embodiment, an outer covering is provided that is secured around the motorcycle saddlebag in a manner that the outer covering can be utilized while driving the motorcycle through inclement weather. The outer covering is preferably readily installable and/or removable and may comprise an elastic opening that opens to fit over the saddlebag and then contracts to hold the covering in position. A layer of heat insulation material may-be provided to limit heat damage that may otherwise be caused by extensive sun exposure. An additional retainer such as retainer clips may be utilized for securing the protection apparatus in position, if necessary. The protective covering may comprise one or more pockets or holders, such as map pockets.

Abstract: A readily removable storage unit for mounting on the rear fender of a motorcycle comprising a storage compartment member defining an open cavity and a cover pivotably mounted on the compartment member adjacent its front end for movement between a cavity closing position and an open position. A lock is provided on the compartment member and the cover adjacent the rear wall for securing the cover in the cavity closing position. A fastener on the bottom wall of the compartment member is engageable with the rear fender of the motorcycle, and the saddle and compartment member have a cooperating releasable tongue and bracket so that the storage unit is mounted by first engaging the saddle and then engaging the fastener in the motorcycle rear fender.

Abstract: Systems for mounting and using portable electronic devices (PEDs) on vehicles make PEDs easier to secure to, transport on, and protect from the elements while mounted on the vehicle. One embodiment of a mounting system includes a PED cabinet having a hard, weatherproofed outer shell with the PED mounted therein, a harness system which detachably mounts the PED cabinet, and an anchor system which detachably mounts the harness system to the vehicle. The harness system may include a strap which wraps around the top of the PED cabinet to firmly hold the PED cabinet in place on a harness pad part of the harness system. The anchor system may include straps which connect to the motorcycle rearward of a motorcycle's gas tank and additional straps which connect to the motorcycle forward of the motorcycle's gas tank. The PED cabinet may include adjustable speakers mounted thereon. An accessory bar can be mounted to the vehicle.

Abstract: A golf bag holder that would be attached to a motorcycle is disclosed. The golf bag holder would comprise a series of support bars that would be mounted to the rear side mounts of a motorcycle, with a golf bag being placed on top of the support bars and then strapped in.

Abstract: A motorcycle golf bag carrier is used with a saddlebag mounting system in which a pair of frame-mounted brackets each having an opening are spaced from each other longitudinally of the motorcycle at approximately the same vertical elevation. A locking pin extends through the opening in each bracket, and an elongate, longitudinally extending, frame-mounted rail is disposed at a vertical elevation lower than the brackets. The carrier according to the invention includes a generally L-shaped bracket having a first, laterally extending section and a second, vertically extending section. The first section includes a longitudinally extending channel of a size and shape that approximates the size and shape of the longitudinally extending rail and which permits the bracket to be mounted to the rail. The second section has a pair of spaced openings of a size and shape to receive the pins, the openings being aligned with the openings in the brackets when the channel is mounted to the rail.

Abstract: A universal snowmobile handlebar bag having a first larger pouch and a second smaller pouch interconnected at upper edges therof by a flexible panel sized to fit across the central portion of a snowmobile handlebar with the pouches on opposite sides of the handlebar and with the side of the handlebar to which either bag is located being determined by the configuration of the snowmobile and with the access to and interior configuration of each pouch being determined by the size of the pouch.

Abstract: A holder for a cooler (or a similar object) on a bicycle (or other vehicle), which preferably is combined with a holder for a beach chair (or a similar object). In the preferred embodiments, the bicycle has a rack behind the seat and over the rear wheel, with a holder fastened over the rack. The holder has a rectangular bottom, an open top, and front, back, left and right walls that are perpendicular to the bottom. The front and back walls are joined by rounded corners to the left and right walls. The holder is suitably dimensioned and configured to retain a rectangular cooler with rounded corners. The holder is preferably made out of rigid, smooth plastic, which will not be deformed by the weight of the cooler, but will have sufficiently low friction with the exterior surface of the cooler that the cooler can be easily removed. Different sizes of holders may be used for different sizes of coolers. The holder may be bolted to the frame, or securely retained by other suitable means.

Abstract: An expandable saddlebag for a motorcycle that is adjustable between a contracted condition and an expanded condition. The expandable saddlebag includes a gusset, and a gusset closure mechanism that is moveable from a closed position to an open position to adjust the bag between the contracted and the expanded conditions, respectively. The expandable saddlebag also has a connecting device that allows for selectively opening and closing access to an interior cavity. The expandable saddlebag also includes a top cover selectively attachable to the expandable saddlebag in both the contracted and the expanded position. The expandable saddlebag also includes a saddlebag frame detachably secured to the frame of a motorcycle, and a handle to facilitate carrying the expandable saddlebag when it is detached from the motorcycle frame.

The removable pocket securely engages the sissy bar. The pocket may be manufactured in a number of sizes to fit various size sissy bars, and may also be adjustable within a given size to fit various sissy bars. The first storage bag is collapsible when not in use. A second storage bag may be removably attached to the first storage bag.

Abstract: A saddlebag mounting system that eliminates the need for external fasteners on the rear fender and corresponding tail section. The saddlebag is mounted to the inner surface of the rear fender using a saddlebag mounting system, including a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket preferably includes an inner bracket coupled to the inner surface of the rear fender, and an outer bracket coupled to the inner bracket, the saddlebag being mounted to the outer bracket. The rear fender can be provided with an inner support mounted to the inner surface to facilitate attachment of the inner bracket. For example, the inner support can include a slotted opening, and a fastener can be used to couple the inner bracket to the inner support.

Abstract: A pet carrier for use with bicycles particularly configured to allow installation at a forward position of a bicycle is presented. The particular configuration of the bottom surface of the pet carrier allows the carrier to be mounted in a forward position on a bicycle without interfering in the steering, braking, or gear shifting operations of the handlebars. Specifically, the pet carrier provides a plateaued or two-tiered surface that positions the carrier up and over the handlebars without interfering therewith. A lower bottom surface accommodates a pet's hindquarters, while the upper tiered surface accommodates the pet's forequarters. These two-tiered surfaces are separated by a sloped surface onto which the pet may rest during a bicycle ride. The carrier advantageously includes ventilation apertures or forward facing louvers to provide additional comfort to the pet.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a fast demountable structure for the carrier basket of a stroller, which is adapted for use in mounting on or dismounting from the frame of a stroller. The carrier basket is mounted on the stroller in a demountable way. A fixture rack is installed for the fixation of the carrier basket on the frame of the stroller, and there are several clasp members being installed on the fixture rack and the frame of the stroller. By the adaptation of at least three clasp members in the relation of 3 points support, the carrier basket can be either fixed onto a clasping position on the frame or moved to a relieving position by the relief from the grasp of the clasp members, and users can take the carrier basket directly from the relieving position. The present invention is adapted for the application to strollers with the collapsible type, and especially in case that the users want to fold the stroller when the carrier basket is full of matters therein.

Abstract: A cargo support device increases the cargo-carrying capacity of standard two-wheeled vehicles, such as bicycles, motorcycles, and mopeds. The cargo support device includes a base extension frame mounted to the two-wheeled vehicle. The base extension frame can be mounted to the bottom bracket shell or detachably mounted at three connection points to the bottom bracket shell or chainstays and rear wheel dropouts of the two-wheeled vehicle. The rear wheel assembly is transferred from its original dropouts to new dropouts located on the base extension frame. The original chain, rear brakes, and gear accessories, if any, are extended so as to accommodate the displacement of the rear wheel assembly of the two-wheeled vehicle.
