Abstract: A safety spray wand with a selectively adjustable or interchangeable tip. The wand will selectively provide a high pressure or a low pressure discharge from a discharge tube. The wand has a handle with a pistol grip in combination with a large squeeze trigger. The pistol grip is extended and is molded around a receiving tube that projects downwardly from a discharge tube to thereby form a safety protection guard for an operator's hand while protecting the trigger from accidently being actuated. The receiving tube not only serves as a guard but also as a conduit to which a pressure source is attached and through which the fluid is directed to the discharge tube.

  • Patent number: 4330089
Abstract: An adjustable massage shower head comprising, a housing defining a liquid input chamber for receiving a liquid, a flow guide mounted for axial movement in the housing defining a liquid flow passage from the input chamber and a turbine chamber, the flow guide having a spray bottom connected thereto with openings therethrough. A rotor valve is rotatably mounted and fixed at an axial position to the housing and disposed in the turbine chamber for rotation which produces a pulsating spray from the openings. A ring wall is disposed around the turbine chamber and has a plurality of ducts extending radially at an oblique angle therethrough for directing liquid against the rotor valve. The flow guide is axially movable to direct liquid against increasing areas of the rotor valve to increase the frequency of the pulsing spray.

  • Patent number: 4324364
Abstract: An adjustable shower head for producing adjustable sprays comprising, a housing, a liquid supply connection connected to the housing for the input of liquid into the housing, and a slide bushing mounted for rotation and axial movement in the housing which has an inclined slot defined thereon and a toothed rim which is engageable by a pinion which is rotatably mounted on the housing wall. The pinion carries a guide pin which is flushly engaged within the inclined slot for axial movement of the slide bushing when the pinion is rotated. At least one spray element is fixedly connected to the slide bushing for producing an adjustable output spray of liquid.

  • Patent number: 4117979
Abstract: A showerhead having an axially shiftable valve means to deliver either a continuous steady water spray or an intermittent or pulsating water spray. The head has a peripheral chamber through which water flows to provide the continuous steady shower spray and an inner chamber through which the water flows to provide the pulsating shower spray. The valve means travels only 0.200 inch in shifting from the pulsating spray position to the continuous spray position. In the pulsating spray position, the valve means blocks the path of water flow through the outer chamber by a seat-seal arrangement to direct the water into and through the inner chamber. In the continuous spray position, the valve means blocks the flow of water through the inner chamber by a bore seal arrangement to direct the water path through the peripheral chamber.

Abstract: A nozzle member for an automatic washing apparatus for containers which nozzles are capable of washing containers in a fast and efficient manner. The containers for which this particular nozzle is fabricated are of the semirigid type and are composed of a plastic material. They are elongated in configuration and are intended to contain sterile liquids. The nozzle is fabricated to enter the plastic container and thoroughly wash it with a mixture of detergent, water, and air. This is a continuation, of application Ser. No. 660,587 filed Feb. 23, 1976, now abandoned.
