  • Patent number: 6301751
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hook-shaped arrangement (1) which comprises a main part (1a), a hook-shaped device (1b) integral with said main part, and a holding means (2) which is integral with or attached to said main part. The hook-shaped device (1b) is comprised of a tongue (5) which is part-circular, or at least essentially part-circular in cross section and has an angle of arc slightly below 360°. The center (5′) of the curved tongue is located in a plane (A) which coincides with a plane (A′) that lies on one side surface (7) of the main part. The free end (5a) of the tongue extends in a plane (B) that coincides with a plane (B′) lying on that side surface (8) of the main part opposite to said one side surface (7) of said main part.

  • Patent number: 6290112
Abstract: A holder for keys on rings has a belt retaining flattened loop through which a belt passes. The flattened loop has a front face formed by a short top leg and a longer bottom leg that is bent inwardly to resiliently engage the front surface of the belt to prevent the device from inadvertently sliding off the belt. The lower leg forms a bight that holds a clasp member of a clasp and receptacle combination well known in the art of molded plastic strap buckles on luggage. The receptacle member that releasably locks onto the clasp member is constructed to hold one or more rings of keys. The receptacle member with its keys can be released and reattached to the belt with one hand. The belt retaining portion may be removed from or attached to the belt without unbuckling the belt.

  • Patent number: 6243922
Abstract: A reversibly attachable fastener has a generally figure-8 geometry when in the engaged state. The fastener is composed of two generally symmetric halves, each comprising arm portions, shoulder portions, and head portions, and the halves are connected by a spring loop. One half of the fastener contains a window feature that allows the opposing, singular half to extend through and be supported in a nested fashion. The half containing the window feature has crown protrusions on the head portions which are then spanned by a bridge structure. The opposing, singular half is provided with a crown protrusion which is notched, this crown protrusion catching on the bridge structure to maintain the fastener in the engaged state. The fastener can be used to easily and reversibly attach various objects, such as keys to keyrings or identification tags to luggage.
