Abstract: In at least a part of a movable range of a slider, a slider upper portion is positioned adjacent to a wall upper portion, and a slider lower portion is positioned adjacent to a wall lower portion. This prevents jamming of a cloth in the slider at both sides of the tape upper and lower surfaces.
Abstract: An electrically-conductive, corrosion-resistant EMI shielding gasket having an EMI shielding effectiveness of at least about 80 dB at between about 10 MHz and 10 GHz. The gasket is formed-in-place on a surface of a substrate as applied to such surface in a form-stable bead of a fluent polymeric reaction system and cured thereon under substantially atmospheric pressure. The reaction system has a strip volume resistivity of from about 500-1000 m.OMEGA.-cm and is admixture of: (a) an elastomeric resin binder component; and (b) an electrically-conductive filler component of nickel-coated graphite particles. The substrate surface may be that of a housing or other enclosure for electronic components.
Abstract: A steering wheel having a `T` type spoke is attached to a steering column, with an axis of symmetry of steering wheel being angularly biased through an angle y relative to the forward direction of a vehicle, with the direction of the vehicle being stabilized on a stage of a toe-in tester. The vehicle is placed on the stage with the front wheels of the vehicle mounted on drive rollers, and the drive rollers are moved in a manner to place the axes of the drive rollers perpendicular to the axis of the stage as well as to the planes of rotation of the front wheels. Thereby, slide-slipping angles .alpha..sub.R, .alpha..sub.L and camber angles C.sub.NR, C.sub.NL of the right and left front wheels respectively, are determined so as to determine the compensating angle y, according to the equationy=a(.alpha..sub.R +.alpha..sub.L)+b(C.sub.NR -C.sub.NL)+c,wherein a,b,c represent constants determined by the type of vehicle involved.
