Abstract: A cable guard for use with conduit bodies to faciliate low friction and low abrasion, threading or pulling of cable through cable openings in the body. The cable guard consists of a tubular clip having a longitudinal or elongated slot extending its entire length and adapted to fit in gripping and removeable engagement with the rim or lip portion of the conduit body access opening. The clip also has a pair of notches positioned at opposite ends and opposite the longitudinal slot to facilitate installation of the clip at the narrow end of an elongated conduit body access opening and to prevent the clip from rolling when in use. The clip has still another pair of notches positioned intermediate its ends and on opposite sides of the longitudinal slot to facilitate removal of the clip from the conduit body.

Abstract: A miniature surgical clip made of a single continuous length of spring material comprising, in combination, first and second operating members arranged at an acute angle with respect to one another connected together at a common apex, the first operating member having an inwardly bent base leg which defines a guide element and a first jaw member which extends from the base leg in a direction away from the common apex. The second operating member includes a portion defining a second jaw member which extends adjacent to and beyond the guide element in a direction away from the common apex and substantially parallel to the first jaw member to form cooperating jaws which are straight and parallel.

Abstract: A one-piece vascular clip which includes a central helical spring section, first connecting sections joined by the spring section, second connecting sections extending from the first connecting sections to cross. First jaw sections extend from the second connecting sections. A return bend jaw section extends from each of the first jaw sections parallel and adjacent to the associated first jaw section. A horn extends outwardly from each of the return bend jaw sections.

Abstract: A fastening device for a rope; the fastening device serving as an attachment hook, a tie-down binder, or a rope joiner, all without the use of knots in the rope or ropes. The device includes a shank having a hook at one end and an open loop at the other end. The open loop continues into a double parallel leg arrangement defining an open slot therebetween and terminates in a third leg. In that all slots and loops are open, the device may be attached anywhere along the mid-length of a rope to provide the functions, indicated.

Abstract: A clip for securing together a stack of sheets, the stack having a height, or thickness, which can vary over an extended range, the clip having opposed clamping legs spaced apart and extending parallel to one another, a web interconnecting the clamping legs at corresponding ends of the clamping legs, and resiliently deflectable undulations in the web allowing relative displacement of the clamping legs away from one another to receive the stack between the clamping legs and biasing the clamping legs toward one another with a biasing force sufficient to secure the stack, while the clamping legs remain parallel to one another.

Abstract: An applicator clamp for a flexible dispensing tube having an outlet comprises a unit body including a pressure plate terminating in an open-ended retainer tube having a free edge spaced from and defining with the pressure plate a throated opening adapted to progressively receive flattened end portions of the dispensing tube with adjacent reverse-turned portions of the dispensing tube projected through one end of the retainer tube and anchored therein. Manual pressure applied to the plate into the dispensing tube extrudes the stored material through the outlet.

Abstract: A mounting fastener 2 which includes various combinations of base plate 30, mounting bracket 4, and fastener 18 is disclosed. The mounting bracket 4 is a formed wire bracket to provide the stand-off distance between a supporting structure and a mounted panel. Mounting bracket 4 has a pair of parallel feet 6 and a pair of parallel legs 8 extending upward from these feet and a yoke 10 joining the legs in a generally transverse plane (which may or may not be parallel with the feet 6) over the feet, yoke 10 defining a collar 14 into which fastener 18 is resiliently snapped. Opposed tips 16, one extending at the end of each foot 6, adapt mounting bracket 4 for resilient snap engagement to a panel member. Bracket 4 snaps into engagement in channels 38 and tip holes 40 of the base plate 30. A simpler form of bracket 50 is adapted to hang on a supporting structure, also effecting the spacing of the mounted panel from the supporting structure.

Abstract: The present invention is an improved rake which includes a drag portion having a plurality of prongs and a handle portion connecting to the drag portion by an engaging means which includes a clip member for clipping and a U-shaped member for holding the drag portion and the handle portion that can be used to connect the two portions integrally and firmly when the rake is in use and can be easily detached from each other by releasing the engaging means for convenience in transportation.

Abstract: A multi-purpose clip for holding papers, bills, and the like formed a one continuous material, where there is formed an inner heart-shaped loop and an outer heart-shaped loop. The inner loop is provided with a pair of end-portions which overlap and crisscross such that in a first state of the end-portions the two end-portions are biassed toward each other, and in a second state are free from contact with each other. The end-portions provide a torsion effect to aid in the holding of workpieces in the clip, as well as allowing for the clip to be used as a key ring, and the like. The clip may be used such that the workpieces may be inserted and held in three different manners utilizing different portions of the clip as the portions sandwiching therebetween the workpieces.

Abstract: An aneurysm clip which includes an elongated main section providing a central spring portion, jaw forming end portions, and connecting portions between the central spring portion and the jaw forming portions. Jaw addition sections are mounted on opposite sides of the jaw end portions. The connecting portions cross each other and each jaw end portion is opposed to and urged toward one of the jaw addition sections. A guide end portion of one of the jaw addition sections extends from an associated jaw and is engageable by a connecting portion associated with the other jaw to hold the jaws in alignment.

Abstract: An aneurysm clip which includes an elongated main section providing a central spring portion, jaw forming portions, and connecting portions between the central spring portion and the jaw forming portions. Return bent jaw addition sections are provided on opposite sides of the jaw forming portions of the main section. The connecting portions cross each other and each jaw forming portion of the main section is opposed to and urged toward one of the return bent jaw addition sections.

Abstract: Disclosed is a clip device and method of retaining multiple materials in a separated and organized fashion and which is reversible in design to restore the clip to its undeformed tension if excessively deformed. The clip comprises an oval portion which continues into an essentially rectangular portion positioned on the oval portions between the arcuate ends thereof, with the rectangular portion having a width at least equal to the width of the oval. It can be used for organizing papers or holding keys in two separate portions. Also disclosed is a key holder for separating keys in two arcuate sections and a method of securing a spare key to an object.

Abstract: Opposite ends of a silencer band having a plurality of weights attached thereto are coupled together by selective engagement of a clip member and one of the silencer band weights. To effect such engagement, the clip member comprises a connection portion including a pair of first leg members and an interconnecting first bight portion which together define a loop. Instead of being riveted to the silencer band, the clip member is also fixedly attached to another one of the silencer band weights by an attachment portion. The attachment portion includes second and third leg members each extending from one of the end portions of the first leg members and arranged in predetermined spaced apart parallel relation one to another. A fourth leg member reversely depends from the third leg member and defines a second bight portion.

Abstract: The paper clips of the present invention are more gradually curved to have a substantial lateral extent, so that they will hold a much thicker stack of papers without deformation or buckling, as compared with the standard narrow sharply curved paper clips. More specifically, when a predetermined length of wire is employed, the clips have a ratio of the predetermined length to the width, and to the height of the clip, of between about 4 and 6. In addition, where one end of the wire is arranged to engage a stack of papers on one side and the other end of the wire is arranged to engage the stack of papers on the other side, at a point between the two ends there is a gradually curved portion corresponding generally to one-half the circumference of a circle having a diameter in the order of the transverse dimension of the clip.

Abstract: A spring clip for a push broom is disclosed to hold the broom handle and the brush head in longitudinal side-by-side relationship during shipping and vending. The clip is formed of a unitary length of wire and includes a looped web and a pair of legs depending from the web. The legs terminate downwardly in inwardly bent feet of size to underfit the brush head base and to releasably secure the clip to the base. In one configuration, the loop is sized to frictionally engage the handle body. In another configuration, the loop is sized to threadably engage the broom handle threads. The handle can then be releasably secured to the brush head by employing two clips, either both of the first configuration, or one each of the first and second configurations.

Abstract: A clip which can rapidly grip sheets such as clerical documents and which can also release them separately as required, includes a back unit bent to an approximately U-shaped form having two shafts extending symmetrically, a back unit formed of two crossing arms bent to laterally pass each other from the rear ends of the two shafts of the back unit and two pressing units bent forward and inside to approach the outer sides of the two shafts of the back unit at the outer ends of the crossing arms, thereby pressing the clerical sheets between the back unit and the pressing units.

Abstract: This invention is a spring steel wire clip used to clamp and grasp objects of various size and shape. Spring steel wire is bent to form a top area from which extend two legs, each in three segments; an upper part, a crossmember and a foot. Each upper part in conjunction with the top extend downward to form a plane on a different plane than a plane formed by the top and other upper part crossmembers extend inward from the upper parts and are substantially on the same plane yet do not cross over one another. Extending downward and outward from the crossmembers are feet which are parallel to the plane of the top and upper parts from which they extend and perform the gripping function of the invention.The top is used as a grip to apply the clip in a twisting motion in relation to the object to be clamped such that the upper parts and crossmembers are reversed while the orientation of the feet remain constant resulting in a clamping action.

Reversible for restoring the holding forces by mounting the fastener from the opposite side. Comprising two elements extending from a common base, one element loops around the other element, said other element comprises said finger tab, both sections laying on the same plane when said fastener is in a resting position.
