Abstract: A fastener for releasably joining elements of a garment has a male part formed with a pair of oppositely projecting tongues each having a latch tab. A first female part adapted to be mounted on one of the elements is formed with a socket complementary to one of the tongues and is provided with a formation that latches with the tab of the respective tongue when same is inserted in the socket. A second female part adapted to be mounted on the other of the elements is similarly formed with a socket complementary to the other of the tongues, and is provided with a manually releasable latch formation that can move between a holding position latched with the tab of the respective tongue when same is inserted into the respective socket and a freeing position allowing the respective tongue to withdraw from the respective socket.

Abstract: A safety belt buckle, which includes a buckle member, a hook, a stop member, a latch member and a release button, wherein the latch member has a tongue plate which enters a chamber of the buckle member through a lateral opening of the buckle member, and pushes the stop member to a predetermined position; when the stop member stays at the predetermined position, the hook is restricted by the stop member, and stopped at another predetermined position to engage the tongue plate, which makes the latch member unable to separate from the buckle member. By pushing the release button connected to the stop member, the hook can pivot unrestrictedly, therefore the tongue plate is no longer engaged by the hook, and the latch member and the buckle member can separate from each other.

Abstract: There is provided a cover-material fastening clip for connecting a cover material and a cushion material. An engaging part engaged with the cover material. A hook is provided below the engaging part and is formed with: a claw-shaped part engaged with a wire provided in a groove of the cushion material; and a jig receiving part engaged with a jig for separating the hook from the wire. A position at which the jig receiving part is engaged with the jig is located at a side opposite to the engaging part relative to a position at which the hook is engaged with the wire. When the jig is engaged with the jig receiving part and is pulled up, the clip is rotated about the wire and the wire is separated from the claw-shaped part, so that the connection between the cover material and the cushion material is released.

The top and the bottom of the insulation post member are respectively and protrudingly installed with an upper and a lower connection rings, and the bottom surface of the lower connection ring is longitudinally extended with an arrow-shaped elastic buckle claw; the electric conductive spring is sleeved on the insulation post member, the top and the bottom thereof are respectively installed with an upper and a lower guide parts composed of plural spiral rings and at the locations corresponding to the upper and the lower connection rings; so static electricity and/or noise signal generated by each electric component on the printed circuit board can be transmitted through the electric conductive spring to the electric conductive member and thereby providing a grounding effect.

The projecting ring portion cooperates with the body to define therebetween a space so as to accommodate the object. The body includes an end-engaging portion spaced from the connection location. The ring end is engageable with the end-engaging portion of the body to secure the object on the projecting ring portion.

Abstract: Disclosed is a double locking buckle. The double locking buckle includes a plug member having a pair of lock arms and a locking rod provided between the lock arms and a socket member having locking parts in a chamber with which the lock arms are locked. A locking unit is provided at the front end of the locking rod, and the socket member is provided at the center thereof with a guide groove coupled with the locking road and a locking protrusion coupled with the locking unit.

In one embodiment, a first primary jaw (110) and a second primary jaw (112) having interleaved tines are coupled by a hinge pin (114) around which a primary torsion spring (116) is disposed to urge the primary jaws pivotally close. A secondary jaw (118) is disposed on the hinge pin and urged by a secondary torsion spring (120) pivotally toward the second primary jaw. A lever pin (122) is disposable in either a storage position or a working position on the first primary jaw so as to differentiate the pivotal opening of the secondary jaw, which is operable through the primary jaws. Resulting device is compact, quick and easy to operate, and packed with an array of functionalities applicable to cables of various sizes.

Abstract: A dual composition spline for screen framing adds a stabilizing top plate to a round spline body for improved ease of installation using a wide flat roller. The plate is generally rectangular and is made of a relatively high Durometer material, which makes it much harder than the usual material used in screening splines. The holding portion (body) is more like a typical round spline with a relatively low Durometer material which is resilient to hold the screen in a frame channel.

The fastening member defines a conical hole corresponding to the conical latching portion of the latching member. Abstract: A slide adjuster includes a belt having engagement grooves in a form of saw teeth, and a buckle for receiving the belt therein in a forward direction and preventing the belt in the buckle from moving in a backward direction. The buckle includes a buckle body, and an operating plate disposed above a bottom plate and including an engagement claw projecting toward the bottom plate to engage one of the engagement grooves of the belt. The buckle body further includes restricting members projecting inwardly from two side plates thereof, and the operating plate includes recessed portions for receiving the restricting members therein without connecting thereto to prevent an accidental pressing force from being applied in a vertical direction to the operating plate.

Abstract: A linear mount clip joins a tongue and a bracket using an open track in the tongue to guide the tongue into the bracket. The buckle has an immovable linear guide which serves as an internal guide for the open track until the tongue can be inserted no further. The buckle includes a sprung plate overarching the tongue and incorporating a perforation on the tongue side of the plate as well as a rotating attachment to the immovable linear guide. The angle of rotation of the tongue is perpendicular to the axis of the immovable linear guide. The sprung plate revolves on the axis of the immovable feature. Depressing the plate on its edge will lever the plate and its projection away from the tongue allowing it to be inserted into the buckle bracket. Releasing the plate will cause the projection to lock into a perforation in the tongue. The tongue and bracket and locking device form a buckle that can be used to secure a device to a substrate such as a watch to a watchband.

An closed wire loop eyelet opposite a posterior open end clasp are opposed along a linearly elongated wire form. The posterior open end clasp forms an attachable hook element that is impinged by a spring urged closure. The hook element is inserted into a inner tubular cavity of the closure causing an impingement of the hook opening for securely holding and maintaining a mechanical coupling to anything attached thereto, while at the same time providing easy removal by sliding the closure upward along the body of the wire form.

Abstract: A fastening assembly, connecting a first member and a second member, includes a fastening unit, a mounting portion, a connecting hole defined in the first member, and a mounting hole defined in the second member. The fastening unit includes a fastener and an elastic member. The fastener includes a cap and a post having a resisting portion. The mounting portion is formed on the first member and defines an opening and a sliding slot communicating with each other. The elastic member resists the mounting portion and the cap of the fastener. A part of the post passes through the connecting hole, engages with the second member and is received in the mounting portion via the opening and slidable in the sliding slot. The resisting portion retains the part of the post within the mounting portion.

Abstract: Carabiners have a gate that is movable between a closed position and an open position, and a locking member that prevents opening of the gate when the gate is in the closed position and the locking member is in a locked position. The locking member is biased to the locked position. The locking member is also movable to a retainable unlocked position. Methods of manufacturing such carabiners include configuring a locking member of a carabiner to move between a locked position and a retainable unlocked position, and biasing the locking member to the locked position. Methods of using a carabiner include positioning a locking member in a retainable unlocked position, opening a gate of the carabiner, and allowing the locking member to at least substantially automatically move to a locked position as the gate is closed.

Abstract: A locking and unlocking apparatus using an engagement pin with beveled surfaces designed to be inserted between two bodies. As the engagement pin is extended axially into a gap between the two bodies, it moves in a transverse direction to wedge tightly between the first and second body, locking them tightly together. When the engagement pin is retracted, the second body is able to move relative to the first body. A plurality of engagement surfaces placed into one of the bodies allows the mechanism to be locked into a plurality of set positions. These engagement surfaces on the first and second bodies also serve to locate the engagement pin when in the fully locked position, thereby reducing the need for tight tolerances.

Abstract: The invention relates to a locking mechanism which is adapted to constitute part of an item of body jewellery. The locking mechanism comprises a holder having at least one opening to be passed by an end portion of a bar of said item of body jewellery and, separately arranged therefor, an insert received in the holder and having a hole. The insert is operable relative to the holder between a first and a second position by applying a pressure to the insert. The opening of the holder and the hole of the insert together define in the first position a recess into which the end portion of the bar is insertable. In the second position the holder and the insert cooperate with the end portion of the bar for locking the same when inserted in the recess.
