Abstract: An adhesive tape dispenser has a body, an adhesive tap dispensing unit, a knob, a pushing element and a resilient element. The adhesive tape dispensing unit is mounted in the body. The knob is mounted rotatably on the body and has a guiding structure formed obliquely on the knob and having two ends each having a limiting capability to restrict a rotating range of the knob relative to the body between the ends of the guiding structure. The pushing element is mounted slidably in the body, is connected between the knob and the adhesive tape dispensing unit and has a guided structure connected slidably to slide along the guiding structure on the knob when the knob is rotated. The resilient element is mounted in the body to provide a recoil force to the adhesive tape dispensing unit.

Abstract: A polyester film roll is rolled on a core, wherein the difference R (m) between the maximum value and the minimum value of the diameters of the roll is not more than 2W×10?3 and not more than L×10?7, when the diameters of said roll are measured in the width direction of the roll, (therein, W is the width (m) of the film roll, and L is the length (m) of the rolled film). Alternatively, among the lengths of lines which are obtained by measuring the diameters of said roll in the width direction of the roll, drawing a straight line between both the ends of the curved line of the obtained roll diameters, the maximum distance on the convex portion between the curved and straight lines is not more than 500 ?m, and the maximum distance on the concave portion of the same is not more than 300 ?m.

Abstract: A roll of grid material for mine roof support, and a mining machine in combination with such a roll, in which the roll has bands of adhering material injected or otherwise forced into the roll in spaced locations along the roll's width. The adhering material interconnects the overlapped layers within the roll and is sufficiently strong to hold the grid material in the rolled configuration for transport and storage, and yet is readily pulled apart in response to sufficient manual or mechanical pressure applied against the roll, or tension applied to the unwound portion thereof, so as to enable the grid material to be incrementally unwound and installed in the mine. The rolls can be installed using a range of mining machines without need for any specialized dispensing or other apparatus mounted on the machine and without the need for any mechanical device to control unwinding.

  • Publication number: 20130068867
Abstract: The present invention provides tissue products having increased CD stretch, which may be manufactured using a process in which the nascent web is subjected to two distinct rush transfers. The first rush transfer occurs when the web is transferred from the forming fabric to the transfer fabric, i.e., the “first position,” and the second occurs when the web is transferred from the transfer fabric to the through-air drying fabric (TAD) fabric, i.e., the “second position.” The overall speed differential between the forming fabric and the TAD fabric may be, for example, from about 10 to about 50 percent, with the amount of rush transfer being divided between the first and second position in a manner sufficient to achieve the desired CD stretch and other sheet properties.

Abstract: A clutch mechanism for a tape dispenser, for example, includes first and second coaxially disposed rotating disks, a pressure wheel, and a friction element. The first rotating disk defines at least one protrusion. The pressure wheel is disposed between the first and second rotating disks and is operably engaged by the at least one protrusion carried by the first rotating disk. The protrusion is movable between first and second rotational positions relative to the pressure wheel. The friction element is disposed between the pressure wheel and the second rotating disk such that the friction element generates a first frictional force between the pressure wheel and the second rotating disk when the protrusion is in the first rotational position and a second frictional force between the pressure wheel and the second rotating disk when the protrusion is in the second rotational position.
