  • Patent number: 11694880
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a lift thimble system, a reaction chamber, and semiconductor processing equipment, including a wafer thimble device configured to lift a wafer from a base by rising or drop the wafer onto the base by descending, and a focus ring thimble device configured to lift a focus ring from an initial position of the focus ring by rising to cause an inner ring area of an upper surface of the focus ring to lift an edge area of the wafer, or cause the focus ring to return to the initial position by descending. The technical solutions of the system, the reaction chamber, and the equipment of the present disclosure improve maintenance efficiency of an abnormal situation, and double the service lifetime of the focus ring. Moreover, the technical solutions may further realize replacement of the focus ring without damaging reaction chamber vacuum to improve efficiency.

  • Patent number: 9708152
Abstract: An elongated element (10) is transferred from a second (full) spool (13) to a first (empty) spool (14). A gripper (16) is positioned on the elongated element (10). The gripper (16) catches the elongated element (10) and the elongated element (10) is cut between the gripper (16) and the second spool (13) thereby leaving a leading end (19). Thereafter the gripper (16) is positioned with the leading end (19) at the level of the first empty spool (14). The gripper (16) is rotating around the axis of the first spool (14) to form first windings to fix the elongated element (10) on the first spool (14). The method allows full automation and assures the use of the wound element (10) until its final end.

  • Patent number: 9193489
Abstract: The method of supplying non-twisted cable from a non-rotating container comprising supplying a cable to a first spool in a first position by supplying the cable to the first spool in a direction generally parallel to the centerline of the first spool and wrapping the cable around the first spool so that one twist will be applied to the cable with every circumferential wrap, transferring the first spool to a second position without cutting the cable, transferring a second spool to the first position, supplying the cable to a the second spool in the first position by supplying the cable to the second spool in a direction generally parallel to the centerline of the second spool and wrapping the cable around the second spool so that one twist will be applied to the cable with every circumferential wrap, transferring the first spool to a third position and transferring the second spool to the second position, cutting the cable between the second and the third positions, delivering the cable from the third position

  • Patent number: 7226286
Abstract: An apparatus for guiding, treating, or advancing at least one yarn (1), comprising a delivery roll (2) and a companion roll (3) cooperating with the delivery roll so that the yarn repeatedly loops the delivery roll (2) and the companion roll (3). The delivery roll and the companion roll are driven by associated electric motors (7, 8), which are controlled via control lines (9) at a desired frequency by a controller (10). To enable an equalization of the circumferential speeds of the delivery roll (2) and the companion roll (3), the electric motor of the companion roll is an asynchronous motor that is controlled by the desired frequency and has a motor slip.

  • Patent number: 7044417
Abstract: An apparatus for transferring material winding between spools. The apparatus includes spindels for positioning first and second spools in a co-planar arrangement with parallel axes of rotation. With the material initially secured to the base of a first spool with tape, a winding mechanism is energized to turn the spools. When the first spool is filled, a first sheave directs the incoming material to the second spool which is rotated at the rate of material supply. A tape applicator is then directed to apply a section of tape over the material, pressing it against the base of the second spool. A small wire is included on the base of the tape being applied. The applicator force on the wire against the material is designed to be sufficient to sever the material, separating the material on the first spool from the material being wound on the second.

  • Patent number: 6978962
Abstract: A wire winding machine includes two mandrels for winding wire alternately thereon. A traverse positions wire axially along each mandrel, and moves in an arcuate path to position wire adjacent one or the other mandrel. A single transfer arm transfers wire from a wound to an unwound mandrel by extending a wire guide adjacent the wound mandrel, retracting the wire guide to engage the wire, rotating to position the wire adjacent the wound mandrel, and extending to guide the wire into a clamping and cutting mechanism. The mechanism clamps and cuts the wire in response to the mandrel end cap being placed into position. The wire winding machine includes a portable operator console, and a network interface. A wire tension control unit includes a radiated signal source and detector to detect movement of a moveable pulley assembly relative to a fixed pulley assembly to control the supply of wire.

  • Patent number: 6334586
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and arrangement to be used in connection with spooling a cable or the like with a double spooler, in which method spooling begins onto a first drum and, at a desired stage, spooling changes over onto a second drum. To simplify operations associated with spooling, simultaneously while spooling continues onto a second drum, the actuators in connection with the first drum are controlled to unwind cable off the first drum into a place provided.
