Abstract: The holder rests or attaches to the ledge of a sink and stores a tool such as a toothbrush in an inverted position to drain into the sink basin. The holder includes a base cooperating with a suction cup, a post with at least one notch, and an arm with slots to hold the tool handle. In most cases, a three-walled shield protects the stored tool from splashes or debris created in the sink during regular use. The angle of the tool holder advantageously encourages any liquid debris on the tool to drain away from the tool as it dries during storage. In one example, a toothbrush handle rests in the notch and contacts the arm extending over the sink. The cleaning head, bristles, razor, or other working end of the tool will desirably hang to enhance the hygienic storage of the tool. A cover protects the tool from splashes.

Abstract: A paintbrush cleaning apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a vessel that is configured to contain a quantity of a paint solvent within an interior cavity of the vessel. A brush suspension bar is attached to an interior sidewall of the vessel and has a plurality of brush suspension points disposed in a spaced apart relation to suspend a brush end of the paintbrush in the solvent, while maintaining a handle end of the brush in a dry condition above the solvent. The brush suspension points allow the brush to be immersed in the solvent to prevent drying of the paint until the brush can be cleaned. Magnetic retainers are provided to hold or capture fasteners and paint sprayer components.

The lower cavity having a handle resting surface with a second width configured to support a handle. A base mounted to the cover with a bottom surface opposite the top surface. The ring defines a slot extending from an outer edge of the ring to an inner edge of the ring.

Abstract: A toilet tool handle with retractable tool head cover is disclosed. An elongate tool handle has an end with a tool head connector thereon. A rack gear extending along the handle's longitudinal axis is positioned adjacent the end. An actuator sleeve, slidable along the handle, has a bearing mounted on it which holds a pinion gear engaged with the rack gear. The tool head cover is connected to the pinion gear such that sliding action of the actuator sleeve with respect to the handle slides the pinion gear with respect to the rack gear. Engagement of the pinion gear teeth with the rack gear teeth causes the pinion gear to rotate and causes the tool head cover to rotate from a first position where it encloses the handle end to a second position where it is rotatably retracted away from the handle end.

Abstract: A modular tackle container includes a bucket having a sidewall. The sidewall has an inner wall, an outer wall, and a top surface connecting the inner wall and the outer wall. A plurality of brackets are configured to be removably supported on the top of the sidewall. Each of the plurality of brackets has an outer portion configured to face the outer wall, a top portion configured to engage the top surface, and an inner portion configured to face the inner wall. The inner portion includes a generally tee-shaped support. A holder is releasably attachable to the tee-shaped support. The holder has a receiver configured to slide onto the tee-shaped support such that the tee-shaped support vertically supports the holder.

Abstract: A multi-surface spray mop system having a spray mop and mop stand. The mop having an elongated segmented body with at least an upper pole section and a lower pole section releasably coupled. The mop stand supports and maintains the spray mop in an upright position above a floor surface by maintaining the center of gravity of the spray mop within a base of a support area defined by the mop supporting stand.

Abstract: A toothbrush including bristles extended from one end of the toothbrush, a handle extended from another end of the toothbrush opposite the one end, and any of an attachment hole, arranged between the bristles and handle and configured to receive a support leg to be attached therein, and a groove are provided, either of which may improve drying and therefore decrease in transmission of pathogens via the bristles by, for example, improving air circulation to the bristles raised away from a surface via action of the end and the surface.

Abstract: A battery-powered temperature probe for measuring the temperature of food products within a cooking utensil. The temperature probe includes a temperature sensor and a control housing positioned at opposite ends of a flexible arm. The flexible arm is magnetically attachable to the cooking utensil such that the temperature sensor is in thermal communication with the food products and the control housing is positioned outside of and below the top of the cooking utensil. A radiant heat shield may be included in the control housing and the control housing may be oriented such that temperature-sensitive components, such as the battery and display, experience reduced temperatures during operation.

Abstract: A guitar support assembly engages a handle of an amplifier and receives a neck of a guitar. The guitar support assembly includes a body that has an upper surface and a lower surface. The body is bound by a perimeter edge that has a front side, a rear side, a first lateral side and a second lateral side. The front side has a notch that receives the neck of the guitar or another string instrument. A tab is attached to the rear side and extends away from the body. The tab is spaced from the first lateral side and the second lateral side. The body is situated on the amplifier such that the notch receives the neck of the guitar and retains the guitar in a vertical position.

Abstract: An adjustable hanger device including a base plate mountable to a support surface, and an elongated slide bar attached to the base plate and spaced apart therefrom. The hanger device includes a flexible strap, a first end of the strap is attached to an end of the slide bar, a length of the strap being disposed at a first angle relative to the length of the slide bar. An adjustable fastener is provided to adjustably secure the strap to the slide bar at a point between the first and second ends of the strap, the strap being twisted axially to form a spiral loop, the loop defining an opening disposed at a second angle relative to the length of the side bar; and wherein an implement can be supported via the hanger device by inserting the handle into the loop and allowing the implement to return to a vertical position.

Abstract: An apparatus with: a handle, a bolt, a feature for attachment or storage of tools, two or more wedges, and an elastic belt that allow for hanging or storing tools and equipment on an extension ladder such that there is a maximal amount of surface contact and compression between an expanding clamp mechanism and the interior of a ladder rung. The apparatus can be configured in an almost infinite number of ways as desired by the user for length and features for attachment and it uses many off the shelf and easily obtainable components making repair and modification convenient for the user.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are described for the improved application, transportation, and storage of surface coating materials including: paints, stains, cleaners, and preservatives; the present method employs a carrying and storage container in conjunction with a sealing lid; with the lid in place liquid coating materials and wet tools can be stored for extended periods of time between coating application jobs without the need to empty the container or wash out the tools; both magnetic means and selective enclosure are taught by the present invention for effective wet tool storage, whereby eliminating washing up saves time and coating products, as well as conserving wash up supplies.

Abstract: A stationary base with at least two door shrouds extending from a tower portion. The tower portion has at least one groove communicating with a groove guide. An actuating housing is attached to the groove guide and connected to at least one force member positioned between the base and the actuating housing. At least one containment door is positioned in a door groove adjacent each door shroud. Each containment door communicates with the actuating housing with at least one guide pin positioned in a guide slot of each containment door, the guide slot being angled at a predetermined angle to translate vertical movement of the actuating housing to horizontal movement of each containment door.

Abstract: A stabilizer-damper for stabilizing a broom, mop, or other long-handled device while such device is resting against a countertop or other surface. The stabilizer-damper is a device that provides stabilization to prevent the long-handled device from falling to the floor and also provides a damping effect to lessen the intensity and harshness of the sound if the long-handled device happens to fall to the floor. The stabilizer-damper fits onto the handle and provides a frictional surface to resist movement of the handle.

Abstract: The disclosure and claims herein are directed to a paint can holder for attachment to a ladder, the paint can holder comprising a shaft having a first end, a second end, a top surface with a first friction area at the first end of the shaft, and a bottom surface with a second friction area at the second end of the shaft, configured such that inserting the shaft inside a rung of the ladder secures the paint can holder to the ladder, and a holding portion coupled to the second end of the shaft, the holding portion comprising a groove configured to receive a handle of a paint can, at least one opening, and at least one magnetic area.

Abstract: A paint brush is attached to the rim of the mouth of a paint can such that the bristles of the brush are vertically above the mouth of the can and are oriented at an angle of between about 0 and about 90 degrees from the vertical. A notch is formed on the side of the mid portion of the brush between the handle and the bristles or in the ferrule of a paint brush where the brush is provided with one. The notch is defined by an upper face oriented toward the handle of the brush, and a lower face oriented toward the set of bristles. The upper face, the lower face as well as the space between the upper and lower faces are all dimensioned such that when the brush is attached to the rim of the paint can, the rim bears against the notch at a point adjacent to its upper face while the lower face of the notch bears against the rim sufficiently to position the brush at an angle from the vertical of less than about 90 degrees.

The support surface may be formed as an inverted channel structure with a closed upper surface and an angled surface extending away from the first wringer surface. The angled surface may extend at an angle approximately 45 degrees. The wringer may be used with one or more buckets, where the wringer is supported from the rim of one bucket or from the adjacent rims of two buckets. A flat first wringer surface may be used to ring a flat mop, and the curved second wringer surface may be used to wring a round mop.

Abstract: The present invention is methods and devices for encouraging, educating, entertaining, and or motivating children to brush their teeth. In preferred embodiments of the invention, one or more characters are used, each with its own look and personality. The characters are used in a variety of forms and media as the shape of functional devices, advertising, education and entertainment. The characters may also be animated. The characters and their images, associated slogans and brand name may be used on a line of merchandise. The invention in a preferred embodiment includes a toothpaste dispenser or a toy in the shape of one of the characters. The toothpaste dispenser or toy, in a preferred embodiment, is able to talk to, play a song or otherwise communicate with the child to give entertaining, educational or motivating messages to the child regarding brushing their teeth. The invention in another embodiment includes one or more of the characters in the form of finger and or hand puppets.

Abstract: A sanitary toothbrush holder is disclosed. In place of traditional vertical toothbrush placement one or more toothbrushes can be secured on two oppositely positioned drying rack arms extending forward of the base of an upright rear panel of the holder. Pairs of alternating in depth slots along the length of each one of the drying arms permits an operator to position at least one toothbrush within at least one pair of slots at an angle to the horizontal for enhanced moisture drainage therefrom, with the alternating slot arrangement preventing bristle portion cross contamination when two or more toothbrushes are secured on the holder. Provisions are also provided for a toiletry shelf, and removable wall mounting of the holder.

The device includes an annular support member defining a recess into which a can, typically a standard one gallon paint can, or other container can be placed. The can, brush and scraper/wire brush are secured and prevented from falling through the recess of the ladder rung. Attached to the device is a rung insert member, comprising a smooth or ribbed tube with Neoprene washer inserts which can be inserted through the hollow rung in a snug fit, allowing the can to self-level by operation of gravity.

Abstract: Toothbrush holder with disposable liner comprises a three-tiered support structure that is substantially easier to clean than conventional designs. The disks for both versions may be identical including a top portion with a plurality of apertures for inserting the handles of a plurality of toothbrushes. The toothbrushes may rest on the center disk and it may contain numerous small apertures resembling small funnel-like holes enabling the water to be drained onto the lower disk(s). A disposable liner pad with a small tab may be placed in the bottom disk. Users may lift up on the tab to remove and discard the used pad as often as they deem necessary. Abstract: A toothbrush with a bristled head and a handle that includes a pivotable stand. The stand is movable between a collapsed position where an interior surface of the stand is proximate an outer wall of the handle, and an extended position where the stand extends outwardly away from the outer wall and at an angle thereto. This movement is effected by contacting a small flange or a lever on the stand that extends slightly outwardly from the handle. Preferably, the stand is U-shaped and is configured to be received in a complementary cavity in the front wall of the handle. Abstract: A toothbrush holder for holding toothbrush is provided that comprises a body having concaved depression for receiving the toothbrush, a sensor provided in the concaved depression, a display activated by the sensor for a predetermined time and a counter capable of receiving signal from the sensor and communicating with the display. When the toothbrush is removed from the depression, the sensor is operated to transmit a signal to the counter that in turn activates the display for a predetermined time. Abstract: A ventilated toothbrush holder having filtered ventilation is provided. The toothbrush holder has a container, or first web, and a re-closable cover, or second web flexibly coupled to the first web. In a first embodiment, the second web has an opening that is covered by a fine-mesh polymeric filter that resists the entry of water and other liquids but allows the flow of air. In a second embodiment, the first web also has an opening covered by the same type of filter to enhance air flow into the first web and out of the second web. An exemplary shape is claimed, but other embodiments are not limited as to shape. An insert for supporting toothbrushes, adapted in shape to the first web, is disclosed.
