Abstract: A portable stand for supporting one or more signs. The stand has a base, and a post extending vertically upward from the base. A pair of frames, having a cutout side, and a front window, attach securely to the post for holding the signs therein. The signs each insert into the frames along the cutout side of the frame, and are viewed through the front window of the frame. The base includes two sides, each having a recess that extends inwardly from the sides. A pair of wheels are secured within the recess for easily moving the stand. The base and the post each have a hollow inside cavity for temporarily holding water or sand therein for providing additional support and stability to the stand.

Abstract: A desktop electronic device translates on a desktop from a first position to a second position through use of at least one mobility assembly. The mobility assembly(s) may be integral with the desktop electronic device, connected to the desktop electronic device, or integral with a platform that supports the desktop electronic device. The mobility assembly(s) include at least one primary revolving element and optionally includes at least one secondary revolving element in contact therewith. The primary and secondary revolving elements may be spherically or cylindrically shaped in any combination. A spherical primary revolving element allows the desktop electronic device to translate linearly or non-linearly. Brakes or disengaging mechanisms may be combined with the desktop electronic device, mobility assembly(s), or platform to resist or prevent movement of the desktop electronic device.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a multifunctional adjustable computer support stand designed for disabled users. The present invention includes a movable base used to accommodate a computer host; two swing rods, formed on the bottom of the base; a retractable rod; a rotation member able to rotate to any desired angle; a support rod pivotally connected with the rotation member, including a shaft rod extending form the one end of the support rod; a rotatable base member, including a left U-shaped frame and a right U-shaped frame used to hold a monitor; an adjustment frame, U-shaped used to firmly hold a keyboard.

Abstract: A transportable litter box has a container body and a lid removably received over an open end of the container body. The container body has wheels rotatably connected thereto at an end opposite the open end. The lid has an opening therein suitable for allowing an animal to enter the container body therethrough. A support structure is connected to the lid so as to retain a bag in an open configuration within the container body regardless of the orientation of the container body. The wheels are formed of wheel halves hingedly connected together over an axle.

Abstract: A docking frame for a cutting machine includes a docking frame including a docking station having a docking socket for receiving a bottom portion of the cutting machine therein, a locker device provided at the docking station for detachably locking the cutting machine at the docking socket, and a peripheral functional gear provided at the docking station as a supplemental implement for the cutting machine so as to enhance a workability thereof.

Abstract: A tool for lifting, relocating, rotating, and holding a commercially available flat-panel display/TV screen and other associated operating components within any computer operator's or TV viewer's optimal viewing and reaching positions, as are necessary to suit the requirements of an operator who chooses to work in any upright or neck supported reclined type chair/bed bodily position.

Abstract: A portable wheeled dolly for transporting a receptacle of articles, such as a quantity of baseballs to a practice field, where the dolly comprises a pair of spaced apart, elongated frame members, and a U-shaped handle engaging respective first ends of said frame members. Hingedly positioned along a midpoint of the of the frame members is a pivotal platform which functions as a transporting support surface for the receptacle, or as a seat in a static mode. A pair of wheels are provided in proximity to the second ends of the frame members, where the wheels are vertically spaced from the second ends to avoid ground contact in the static mode, but in rolling contact in the transporting mode.

Abstract: A mobile IV pole has a wheeled base with an enclosure that substantially covers the wheels and a bumper secured to the enclosure. A pole is coupled to the base, and a plurality of hook or other holders are provided for holding intravenous fluid reservoirs. The pole may include first and second arms that extend substantially vertically upwardly from the base, each arm made up of respective lower, central, and upper telescoping tubular portions. The lower portions of the arms are securely coupled to the base, the upper portions are rigidly interconnected with one another, and the central portions of the first and second arms are rigidly interconnected by a stabilization bar which has a plurality of routing channels therein for routing flexible IV tubing. An obliquely oriented handle is coupled to the pole and is axially movable along at least a portion of the pole. The IV pole may be provided with an electrical receptacle having a retractable power cord.

Abstract: A collapsible cross-arm dolly for conveyance of weighted articles. The dolly consists of an upper arm (20) and a lower arm (24) of square metallic tubing, with each formed with a horizontal offset center portion (22) and (26) and with a pair of casters (30) that are attached at each end of both arm's lower surface. The horizontal offset center portion (22) is formed in opposite hand or mirror image of each other, thus permitting them to nest together and are both oppositely flattened to allow nesting on the same horizontal plane. A pivot junction (32) is mutually disposed between the arms, thereby permitting the dolly to form a pivotal right angle cross position (36), or alternatively, a pivotal parallel arm collapsed position (38). A gravity-actuated restraint (50) locks and disengages the connection of the upper arm to the lower arm, which permits changing orientation from the right angle cross position (36) to the parallel arm collapsed position (36).

Abstract: A multiple-purpose foldable frame includes a plurality of reinforcement rods, an adaptation holder, a plurality of sleeves and arms in conjunction with a plurality of posts and pivot holders. One end of each reinforcement rod is pivoted to a respective pivot holder at the lower end of each post and extending towards the center of the frame at a certain inclination with another end of the reinforcement rod pivoted to the adaptation rod. Each sleeve is inserted onto a respective post. One end of each arm is pivoted to a respective sleeve and another end to a respective reinforcement rod. Each arm is provided with a track to hold onto the reinforcement rod.

Abstract: A support structure includes a support stand operable with a supported article. The support stand has a pair of side pieces. Each side piece includes a main beam, wherein a length of the main beam is optionally adjustable, and an angle beam joined to the main beam at an outward joining angle of from about 20 to about 60 degrees thereto. The main beams of the two side pieces are spaced apart and are parallel to each other. The support stand further includes two or more cross beams. The cross beams are spaced apart from each other and are each affixed to the two side pieces to form a top frame. A support base extends downwardly from the top frame and includes a pair of leading columns, wherein one of the leading columns is affixed to each of the main beams, and a pair of trailing columns, wherein one of the trailing columns is affixed to each of the angle beams. Desirably, a length of each of the leading columns and a length of each of the trailing columns is adjustable.

Abstract: A load carrying device configured to support and transport a tray comprising a platform configured to support the tray, rolling means depending from the platform, and a retainer disposed on the platform and configured to loosely abut the tray to limit movement of the tray across the platform when the tray is supported on the platform. The retainer projects upwardly from the platform and presents a surface opposing horizontal movement of the tray when the tray is supported on the platform.

Abstract: A portable, foldable display apparatus that can be folded into a structure that is approximately one foot wide so that it can be easily stored. The apparatus is fitted with wheels so that the apparatus can be easily moved once it has been set up. An optional telescoping advertisement sign is provided. Multiple levels of display surfaces are provided. The apparatus can be used to display floral arrangements or other articles. The apparatus can be easily manufactured with display surfaces having different shapes to accommodate different merchandize.

Abstract: A support rack, such as for supporting automobile body parts during painting, may be supported entirely from overhead by a single vertical support tube received within an overhead mounting bracket. A central frame has a sidewardly projecting cross member, which supports side members which extend front to back. A front frame projects frontwardly of the cross member, and has adjustable side support arms. When a fender is supported on one of the side members by an upper edge, one of the side support arms can be adjusted to properly engage the fender. Alternatively, the rack's vertical mount tube can be supported from below on a wheeled support frame. Adjustable pin collars can be moved along the side arm to support parts which have mounting holes.

Abstract: A carrier is configured to hold a container having a door mounted for reciprocation between opened and closed positions. The carrier includes a body adapted to receive the container as well as an extension coupled for reciprocal movement with respect to the body. The extension is adapted for engagement with the door of the container, and the reciprocal movement of the extension is adapted to reciprocate the door of the container between the opened and closed position. A container system including a container and the carrier is also provided.

The lower frame assembly 14 comprises a shelf 50 and a plurality of lower frame members 26, 28 which define an interior space 40. At least one frame member 28 has an aperture 80. The shelf 50 has at least one pin 70 cooperatively dimensioned with the aperture 80. The pin 70 is received by the aperture 80 to connect the shelf 50 to the lower frame members 26, 28 and form the lower frame assembly 14. The shelf 50 has a perimeter that is cooperatively dimensioned with the interior space 40 such that the shelf 50 is positioned within the interior space 40. The shelf 50 provides structural integrity to the lower assembly 14 such that the lower assembly 14 can support the upper assembly 12 and the cooking chamber 16.

Abstract: A collapsible rack for supporting an automotive body panel, such as a removable automobile hardtop. The collapsible rack supports the panel and becomes more compact for storage. The collapsible rack has a T-shaped member that is removable for placement of the rack in a truck of an automobile, or for stowage in a neck defined by the frame. In a first position, the frame and member hold the hardtop or automotive body panel upright. In a second position, the member is stowed in the frame.

Abstract: A kidney dialysis machine includes a number of flexible members extending from the machine to corresponding receptacles at a patient station. The flexible members are arranged in a cable bundle at a point intermediate of the machine and the ends of the members. A retaining member is wrapped around the bundle to hold the bundle together. The retaining member is attached to a spring that has one end connected to the retaining member and an opposite end attached to the kidney dialysis machine. The spring holds the bundle off the floor.

Abstract: A sideboard assembly for a camera dolly includes a base attached to the dolly chassis via threaded posts. A platform is slidably attached to the base. A platform brake can be released to allow the platform to slide forward or back on the base, so that the platform is positioned as needed relative to the camera dolly. The platform brake is tightened or engaged to lock the platform into a desired position. An end board assembly can be slidably positioned on end posts threaded into the front end of the camera dolly, to provide increased positioning flexibility. A fixed tab and a pivot tab on the platform allow the platform to be flipped over, so that it can be used interchangeably on the left and right sides of the camera dolly.

Abstract: The present invention provides a carrier for a roaster oven including a bottom frame including two shafts; two first legs each having a tubular upper end, connected to one end of the shafts; two second legs each having a tubular upper end, connected to another end of the shafts; a connecting device for supporting the roaster oven, having four sleeve pipes housing the upper end of the first and second legs; and two gridirons each including two plugs inserted into the sleeve pipes. The carrier of the invention is steady and easily assembled.

Abstract: A support structure for mounting equipment, such as a video monitor, to a transportable anesthesia machine includes an elongate vertical member adapted to mount the video monitor and/or other equipment and an elongate horizontal member extending perpendicularly from the vertical member for removable attachment to the anesthesia machine. The horizontal member extends from a lower end of the vertical member and is removably attached to a frame of the anesthesia machine in a desired angular position. The support structure and anesthesia machine move as a unit when the anesthesia machine is transported along a floor surface, with the video monitor or other equipment disposed at an advantageous location for use by an anesthesiologist during a medical procedure. The support structure has a foot that prevents or inhibits undesired tipping or tilting of the anesthesia machine.

Abstract: Desktop mobility is provided for a desktop electronic device by at least one mobility assembly to translate the desktop electronic device from a first position to a second position on a desktop. The mobility assembly(s) may be integral with a housing of the desktop electronic device, connected to the desktop electronic device, or combined with a platform used to provide mobility for the desktop electronic device. The mobility assembly(s) include at least one primary revolving member and at least one secondary revolving member in contact therewith. The primary and secondary revolving members may be spherically or cylindrically shaped, independently. The mobility assembly(s) may be selectably engaged with and disengaged from the desktop. Additionally, various braking mechanisms may be selectably applied to restrict movement of the desktop electronic device.

Abstract: A cleanroom lift for maneuvering large objects such as turbomolecular pumps utilized in semiconductor processing applications is provided. In one embodiment, the lift includes a vertically movable carriage coupled to a linkage assembly. The linkage assembly has a first link and a second link. Each link has one piece construction to minimize deflection under load. The first link is coupled to the carriage by a carriage shaft assembly and to the second link by a linkage shaft assembly. The second link is coupled to the linkage shaft assembly and a gripper assembly. Optionally, a third link and second shaft assembly may be disposed between the gripper assembly and the second link to minimize the weight of the links to facilitate assembly in cleanroom environments.

The structure also has means for adjusting the position of the intermediate support relative to the column so as to correct departures of the on-board equipment from the horizontal.

Abstract: A chair base includes a rigid base member having a plurality of elongate tubular leg members disposed angularly around and radiating outwardly from a central hub. Each leg member adjacent an outer free end thereof has a hub structure defining a through vertical bore for retaining the pintle of a caster. The hub structure includes coaxially aligned upper and lower sleevelike hub parts which are monolithically and integrally joined to and extruded transversely into the interior of the leg member from the respective top and bottom walls thereof. The pintle-retaining hub structure is formed by a pierce-and-extrude process whereby small pilot openings are initially formed through the respective walls, and the annular wall portion surrounding the respective pilot opening is thereafter transversely extruded to effect forming of the respective hub part. The pierce-and-extrude process for each hub part is, in a preferred process, carried out by a single forming tool.

Abstract: The present invention-provides a welded-frame assembly of a barbecue gas grill, or an accessory cart. The frame assembly comprises a plurality of elongated support members and a plurality of elongated channel members having at least a portion of generally U-shaped cross section and including an inner welding surface and an outer cosmetic surface. The channel members are disposed transverse to the support members and arranged such that their ends abut against the support members. A plurality of weld joints are each disposed on the inner welding surface of the channel members and a portion of the support members. The weld joints provide attachment of the support members and the channel members to form the welded frame assembly without substantial discoloration of the outer cosmetic surfaces of the channel members. Furthermore, the weld joints are substantially concealed for aesthetic purposes.

Abstract: The preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a base frame which provides support, a extensible telescoping mast with camera mounts to elevate a video camera to a higher vantage point, an operator control assembly which allows the user to manually aim the video camera which is beyond his reach, and a display for the user to view the output from the video camera. This gives the operator an advantageous vantage point and field of view during sporting events, social functions, photojournalism, crowd control and the study of nature, to name only a few applications. Embodiments of the invention may additionally comprise a camera control module to remotely control the electronic functions of the camera (e.g. zoom) and an optional sunscreen to shield the display from direct sunlight.

Abstract: A device for transporting children in a medical care facility is provided. The device includes a wagon carrying a pole inboard of the wheels. The pole is received in a holder whereby the wagon solely carries and supports the pole. The wagon includes a guard rail surrounding a wagon bed forming a passenger compartment with an upwardly opening top. The front wheels are independently pivotable for steering and stabilizing the wagon.

Abstract: A seed meter transfer and storage apparatus for storing seed meters of a type that are used, for example, on a corn or soybean planter. The apparatus includes a frame with a plurality of upwardly extending members operatively attached thereto. Each of the members are spaced a predetermined distance from each adjacent members and a slot is disposed at the top of each member for receiving a flange which is on each side of the seed meter. This allows one seed meter to be stored between each adjacent member for each pair of adjacent members.

Abstract: The present invention provides a carrier for a roaster oven including a bottom frame including two shafts; two first legs each having a tubular upper end, connected to one end of the shafts; two second legs each having a tubular upper end, connected to another end of the shafts; a connecting device for supporting the roaster oven, having four sleeve pipes housing the upper end of the first and second legs; and two gridirons each including two plugs inserted into the sleeve pipes. The carrier of the invention is steady and easily assembled.

Abstract: Apparatus for suspending full blood packs to assist filtration or leucodepletion is disclosed. In one embodiment (FIG. 4) it takes the form of a trolley or cart (40) having a rectangular rack (44) fitted with hooks (46) for suspending blood packs (not shown), and a tray-like platform (48) adapted to receive and support the receiving bags of the packs. Actuator means in the form of an air-ram (with piston 62) is employed to raise and lower the rack (44) and actuator means in the form of a pistonless air-ram (79) is used to independently raise and lower the platform (48). The actuator means are powered by a gas reservoir in a central casing (80) and suitable controls. In use, the platform (48) is raised to a convenient height for an operator to load blood-receiving bags thereon and the rack (44) is lowered to a convenient height for the operator to hook the full blood bags onto the hooks (46).

Abstract: A camera pedestal has a column attachable to a base. The base includes a base plate, side plates and a cover. The base and side plates are flat and are bolted together to facilitate manufacture. A cable guard system on the base has separate guard plates which can be independently shifted up and down quickly and easily by hand. A drag assembly sets a holding force on the guard plates. The guard plates have greater ground clearance at the ends away from the corners of the pedestal, to avoid contact with high points on an undulating or uneven ground surface.

Abstract: A rollable sports ballast base for supporting a sports apparatus support member comprising a base member having a top and bottom surface. The bottom surface contacts a support surface such as a driveway or other playing surface. There is at least one wheel assembly, retractable from a lowered position to a raised position. The wheel assembly includes a pivoting connector coupled to the base member and a wheel bracket coupled to the pivoting connector. The wheel bracket includes an axle, at least one wheel, and a handle extending outwardly from the wheel bracket. The handle is used to pivotally rotate the wheel assembly about a transverse axis. When the handle is rotated away from the base member, the wheel assembly is placed in a lowered position whereby the wheel contacts the support surface thus separating the bottom surface of the base member from the support surface.

Abstract: A recycling receptacle for storing and separating a plurality of items to be recycled. The recycling receptacle includes a platform with a base and a back wall. The base has an upper surface, a lower surface, a front edge, a back edge, a first side edge and a second side edge. The back wall extends upwardly from the back edge. A shelf assembly is attached to the upper surface. An outer wall is attached to and extends upward from the base. The outer wall extends along the second side edge of the base and abuts the back wall. The outer wall is spaced from the shelf assembly.

Abstract: An infant car seat support assembly for securing an infant car seat to a portable support assembly. The infant car seat support assembly includes a pair of support members. Each support member has a pair of legs and a cross member extending between upper ends of the pair of legs. The support members are pivotally coupled to each other in a manner such that the cross members are positioned in a substantially parallel spaced relationship to each other to define an open position. The infant car seat support assembly also has at least one brace member that has opposite ends. Each end of the brace member is couplable to a respective one of the cross members for holding the support members in the open position. One of the cross members is designed to securely engage an infant car seat clip, whereby the infant car seat support assembly can be securely engaged to the infant car seat.

Abstract: A versatile material cart system for efficiently handling elongate material in adjustable sections. The versatile material cart system includes a base having a plurality of caster wheels attached thereto, a pair of center support members attached to opposing ends of the base, a plurality of locking members attached to each of the center support members, a plurality of arm members having a collar slidably and rotatably positioned about the center support members, a plurality of side arms pivotally attached to the corners of the base, and a plurality of cross members attached to the upper ends of the center support members. The collar of the arms members has a slot for sliding about the locking members and a plurality of notches within a lower edge for catchably receiving with the locking members. The plurality of arm members are adjustable vertically and rotatably thereby allowing for the creation of various material receiving sections.

Abstract: A baseplate for an article of baggage, e.g., luggage. The baseplate includes a support member and three or more wheels disposed on the support member along a substantially linear axis and arranged so that adjacent wheels are substantially equidistant to one another. This advantageously provides greater stability to the baggage while distributing the load substantially equally. The invention also relates to an assembly in which the baseplate is mounted to an exterior surface of an article of baggage and pivotable about the substantially linear axis when tilted so as to roll along all three wheels. In one embodiment, the baseplate has three wheels including two outer wheels and an intermediate wheel disposed therebetween. The diameter of the two outer wheels is the same and larger than that of the diameter of the intermediate wheel.

Abstract: A barbecue grill assembly includes a cook unit and a casing. The cook unit has a cooking base, a grill member disposed in the cooking base, a top cover, and a handle formed on the top cover. The casing includes front and rear casing parts that have first edges hinged to each other, and second edges fastened releasably to each other by a pair of fastening units. The casing is formed with two handle openings at the second edges, and is mounted with a wheel unit and a pull member above the wheel unit. The casing confines a receiving space for receiving the cook unit. The handle on the cook unit is extendible through the handle openings. The pull member is operable for pulling the casing to move along a ground surface by virtue of rolling contact of the wheel unit with the ground surface. The casing is adapted to be disposed uprightly on a ground surface for supporting the cook unit thereon.

Abstract: A caddy is provided for supporting a hopper, such as a hopper associated with a texture gun. In one embodiment, the caddy includes a base having a top defined by a plate. A first support extends upwardly from a first side of the base and a second support extends upwardly from an opposing second side of the base. A frame is mounted to the first and second supports above the base and is adapted to engage a hopper and support it above the base. In one embodiment, the frame has four sides, three of which are closed, the frame defining a generally open interior area in which a hopper may be located. The fourth side is defined by a pair of stops which extend from opposing sides of the frame, but which have a gap there between. In one embodiment, the base has a semi-circular end having a generally circular opening in the plate which a container may be located.

Abstract: A computer tower mobilizing device including a pair of tower mountable disks adapted for coupling with opposed side walls of a computer tower. Each of the disks has an inner surface and an outer surface. The outer surface has a central pivot post extending outwardly therefrom. A support housing is dimensioned for receiving the computer tower therein. The support housing is comprised of a pair of side supports positioned in a spaced relationship for receiving the computer tower therebetween. The side supports each has a generally triangular configuration. The side supports are defined by a pair of angularly disposed segments having upper and lower ends. The upper ends are joined to form an apex. The apex is defined by a circular plate. The circular plate has a vertical slot extending downwardly therein. The vertical slot terminates at a central location of the circular plate. The vertical slot receives the central pivot post of a corresponding tower mountable disk therein.

Abstract: A medical gas utility stand for connection to at least one remote medical gas source, each medical gas source detachably connectable to a gas conduit line so that the gas conduit line is in fluid communication with one medical gas source. The gas utility stand includes a base connected to a substantially upright support member. The gas utility stand also includes a gas connection member having at least one gas conduit defining a gas passage extending between an input end and an output end, the gas connection member fixedly connected to the support member adjacent its top end. Additionally, the gas utility stand has at least one pair of identical gas fittings, each gas fitting defining a bore extending between an attachment end and a securing end, the securing ends of one pair of identical gas fittings detachably secured to the opposing input end and output end of one gas conduit so that the bores of the pair of identical gas fittings are in communication with the gas passage of the gas conduit.

Abstract: A cart configured for receiving a kettle-type barbecue having a lid and a kettle portion, the cart including a lower bracket having at least three corners, each corner having a first female frusto-conical section shape and being configured to receive and securely hold a corner post having a male frusto-conical section shape. An upper bracket has at least three corners, each corner having a second female frusto-conical section shape and being configured to receive and securely hold a corner post having a male frusto-conical section shape. Also provided are a plurality of corner posts having a plurality of spaced annular grooves, and a plurality of male frusto-conical members configured for engaging the grooves and being disposed at a selected position on the corresponding corner post for engaging the female frusto-conical shapes on the corners. A kettle bracket is associated with the upper bracket and is configured for receiving the kettle portion of the barbecue in a frictional relationship.
