Abstract: A mounting element for mounting an architectural covering between two opposing mounting surfaces may include an elongate mounting member, and an extension mechanism operable between: i) a retracted state, and ii) an extended state in which the mounting element can be fastened to the architectural recess. The mounting element may also include an actuator rotatable about a rotation axis, and a conversion mechanism to convert a rotation of the actuator into a translatory movement of the rotation axis along the longitudinal direction and vice versa. The extension mechanism is arranged to abut one of the opposing mounting surfaces in the extended state when the mounting element is mounted between the opposing mounting surfaces.

Abstract: A handrail kit that includes a cover, a first endcap, a second endcap, and a support member is provided. The support member includes a longitudinal axis, a first end along the longitudinal axis, a second end along the longitudinal axis, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, a first longitudinal side, and a second longitudinal side. The first lateral side of the support member is configured to be secured directly against a mounting surface. The first endcap is configured to mate with the first end of the support member and the second endcap is configured to mate with the second end of the support member. The cover is configured to be placed over the second lateral side of the support member and to engage the first longitudinal side and the second longitudinal side of the support member.

Abstract: In one aspect, an adjustable mount assembly for mounting a covering rod relative to an adjacent architectural structure comprises a rod mount including a base plate having an inner side and an outer side opposite the inner side. In addition, the rod mount further includes a rod cradle extending outwardly from the outer side of the base plate, with the rod mount being rotatable about a mount axis to adjust a circumferential position of the rod cradle. The mount assembly also includes an engagement member supported relative to the rod mount such that the engagement member is configured to engage at least a portion of the rod mount as the mount is rotated relative to the engagement member about the mount axis.

Abstract: A wall mounting system is provided including a fastening member including one or more mounting studs and one or more anchor apertures. The fastening member is configured to be anchored to a support structure by one or more fasteners disposed through the one or more anchor apertures. The wall mounting system also includes a bushing assembly including an inner portion including a through hole configured to receive a mounting stud and an outer portion configured to rotate about the inner portion and including at least one set screw aperture configured to align with a set screw aperture of an accessory sleeve and receive a set screw. Rotation of the outer portion about the inner portion enables indexing of the set screw aperture about a longitudinal axis of the bushing assembly.

Abstract: An improved display bar assembly, for the cantilever support of product dispensing trays. A rectangular display bar, is supported by spaced apart, flat mounting brackets on which mounting hooks are located in the primary plane of the bracket, and openings for reception of the display bar are offset axially inward from that plane enabling the recessed accommodation of flanged retaining plugs at opposite ends of the bar. The flanges of the retaining plugs have axially extending abutment walls which overlap outer walls of the display bar and engage offset surfaces of the bracket. The abutment walls overlap display bar walls on two opposing sides only, enabling the retaining plugs to be molded with transverse friction fins. This in turn enables the use of readily available, inexpensive grades of light gauge (e.g., 16 gauge) steel tubing of greater height than width (e.g., 1×1.5 inch) for the display bars.

Abstract: The present invention also discloses a multi-DOF (Degree of Freedom) large-stroke high-precision motion platform system using the guide mechanism. A large load-bearing guide mechanism comprises: a rigid frame for generating a large-stroke displacement to realize high-speed motion; a core motion platform connected with a motion portion of a non-contact actuator, connected with the rigid frame by a primary flexible hinge group and a secondary flexible hinge group, and used for generating a small-stroke precise displacement by elastic deformation of the flexible hinge groups under driving of the actuator.

Abstract: A raking rail panel system includes a raking rail panel that is supported by four pivotable bracket assemblies. Each pivotable bracket assembly includes a rail support bracket that is hinged to a post bracket. Each post bracket is configured to be coupled to a vertical support post. The post brackets each include a gap filling portion that extends from a mounting face of the vertical support posts. The gap filling portions are sized to either fill a long or a short gap between an end baluster and the vertical support post. The four pivotable bracket assemblies facilitate drop-in installation of the rail panel pivoted in a range of rake angles.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a striking apparatus and provides multiple configurations to that apparatus. More particularly, this disclosure describes the striking apparatus having a rotatable target that may be secured on a door end assembly. In one illustrative embodiment, the target may be coupled to a rotatable member having a plurality of compression loops there between. A support may lock the rotatable member, and thus the target, at an angle through a bolt pattern spaced at forty-five (45) degree to fifteen (15) degree increments. The support may be secured to the door end assembly through at least one clamp and at least one fastener.

Abstract: A display holder includes an extruded member having a top surface from which extends a T-shaped grip portion for engagement by a gripper at the end of a pole. Spaced from the grip portion is a brace on the end of which is a web connected to a C-channel. The C-channel receives a display or sign such as a dowel in a sleeve of the display which allows the user to maximize sign size, head space or lines of sight. The C-channel also can be used to receive a block end hook, a cord suspender, or a clip. A ring may be provided through a hole in the web. The display holder is mounted or un-mounted safely from floor level in one single motion to a ceiling by magnets on the top surface or to a wall by magnets on the brace.

Abstract: A tarpaulin system for an open cargo hold. The tarpaulin system includes a tarpaulin, a plurality of bows, a plurality of connectors, a cable, and a tail end system. The plurality of connectors connects the plurality of bows to the cable while the tarpaulin is draped atop the plurality of bows. The tarpaulin bracket system allows for quick, and easy, replacement, or fixing, of the plurality of connectors or damaged bows allowing for much easier and efficient replacement while traveling in harsh environments.

Abstract: A rack with a top reaching a ceiling according to the present invention is easy to assemble and disassemble, and such fastening method will not damage the ceiling but has high stability and is firm and durable. In addition, an arc-shaped cross bar, with a shower curtain or other articles hanging thereon by buckles, can be inserted in and connected to the rack in the Y direction, so it has diversified functions. A three-dimensional structure of the rack can be realized, and telescopic cross bar, telescopic vertical bars and the arc-shaped cross bar can be connected by users according to different needs to structure racks of different shapes.

Abstract: A first bracket is attached to a wall forming an anchoring point for an accessory hub. The accessory hub is attached to a second bracket that mates to the first bracket. Once properly mated together, the first bracket and second bracket may not be separated by a downward force. As a result, any accessory device attached to the accessory hub is properly secured to the wall. The accessory hub may also be attached to the first bracket and detached without the use of tools or intricate fasteners thereby facilitating simple removal at a later date.

Abstract: A holding apparatus having a first and second support tube that slidably engage each other is provided. Each of the first and second support tubes has an end cap coupled to an end of the respective support tube. The first support tube has a bore and an open end opposite the end cap coupled to the first support tube. The engagement of the first and second support tubes enables a smooth surface on the first support tube so that jewelry or other small articles may be positioned thereon and freely slide back and forth along the surface of the first support tube. The end cap coupled to the second support tube has a bore for receiving the open end of the first support tube at full insertion of the second support tube into the bore of the first support tube.

Abstract: A barricade with a plurality of interlocking barricade members hingedly coupled to each other. Each of the interlocking barricade members include two vertical posts between which horizontal barricade members are mounted. The interlocking barricade members includes a base assembly onto which the vertical post is supported, such that the base assembly is rotatable and removable with respect to the vertical post. The base assembly is entirely behind and extends away from the barricade's rear face, thereby keeping the barricade and all its components out of a given walkway to avoid becoming a hazard to pedestrian traffic.

Abstract: A rotation type sliding bar with quick assembly and disassembly, includes a bar and a wall bracket device that can be fixedly assembled to the wall, a lock set and a rotation sleeve. The lock set is disposed with a sleeve portion coupled to and sleeved on the outer side of the wall bracket, the sleeve portion is disposed with at least an assembly hole vertically running through the sleeve portion; the bar is inserted to the assembly hole, the rotation sleeve is sleeved on the sleeve portion, the rotation sleeve is coupled to the wall bracket, the wall bracket, the lock set and the rotation sleeve are locked and the sleeve portion is driven to slide with respect to the wall bracket by moving the rotation sleeve, so that the wall bracket pushes the bar to lock and connect the wall bracket, the lock set and the bar.

The first micro-structure includes a plurality of bubble structures. The second micro-structure includes a plurality of protrusions and recesses.

Abstract: A bead design allows the bead to be removably attached to a rail, allowing the bead to slide along the rail without coming off. The rail can be part of a bracket system to hang the rail in various desired locations. The beads can be made in various shapes and sizes, or with various textual indicators, to provide a user with a memory aid. A user can, for example, have a bead for each medicine dose they are required to take. A user can slide the bead to one side when the medicine is taken. Each bead can include an indicator, for example, 6 am, 2 pm, 10 pm that indicates a medicine to be taken 3 times a day. The beads can be used for other reminders and can be designed accordingly. A software application can be designed to mimic the bead and rail system.

The handrail is structured so that when the handrail is grasped, fingers are placed on any one of the first finger rest portion, the second finger rest portion, or the third finger rest portion.

Abstract: The multi-purpose drapery rod assembly uses unique rod and bracket construction to provide a superior platform for both single and layered drapery. A single-drapery rod cooperates with bracket to attach to surfaces at nearly any angle, and is easily converted to either a Type 1 dual-drapery rod which layers accent drapery to the side and in front of primary drapery without a view-obstructing front rod, or to a Type 2 dual-drapery rod which layers fully-drawable primary drapery in front and to the sides of secondary drapery. Types 1 and 2 are easily converted to the other due to modular construction. Both display drapery from the back, front, and along the sides by connecting the back and front with curved sections between them. A resiliently deformable release means has a tongue portion (29) that has a free end that is positioned in a cavity of the track when the engagement portions are fully mutually engaged and a connected end that is connected to the mounting portion and spaced from the free end and that is positioned externally of the cavity of the track when the engagement portions are fully mutually engaged. The tongue portion (29) has an abutment face (33) disposed for assisting with prising apart the mounting device and the track by turning a tool, simultaneous with the operation of the tool against the tongue portion. The abutment face is opposed to and spaced from the track in use.

Abstract: A slide lock to releasably secure a roller blind fascia to the end plate of a roller blind. The slide lock comprises a lock body slidably received along an interior surface of the fascia. The lock body has an engaged position, where the lock releasably secures the fascia to the roller blind end plate, and has a disengaged position, where the lock releases the fascia from the end plate to permit the fascia to be removed therefrom. The lock body includes a flexibly resilient leg member that releasably engages between the fascia and the roller blind end plate. The leg member includes a deflection zone such that when the leg member engages between the fascia and the roller blind end plate at least a portion of the leg member is compressed or deflected about the deflection zone to releasably secure the lock body between the roller blind end plate and the fascia, thereby releasably securing the fascia to the end plate.

Abstract: A curtain rod assembly comprises a set of telescoping tubes running between brackets and a locking assembly for setting the length of the telescoped tubes. The locking assembly comprises a screw body, attached to the end of the smaller inner tube, which has a tapered screw along which a captive expansible sleeve moves. The sleeve may be a split cylinder with spring elements running across the gap of the split. When the tubes are twisted relative to each other, the sleeve moves lengthwise along the tapered screw and expands radially outwardly to lock the assembly; and simultaneously with the locking action there is a desirable small change in the length of the tube assembly. The screw body is reversible within the tube assembly, so the rod assembly can be used in applications where the rod both pulls inwardly on, or pushes outwardly against, a window frame.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a wall mount bracket that supports a cable tray in a cable routing system. The wall mount bracket includes a back wall and a sidewall. The back wall has a top, a bottom, sides and mounting holes positioned therebetween. The sidewall extends outwardly from one side of the back wall. The longitudinal wires of the cable tray are positioned on the sidewall of the wall mount bracket. The sidewall also has a distal end with an engaging member that receives a bottom longitudinal wire of the sidewall of the cable tray.

The elongated vertical member has a first edge and an opposing second edge, where the first edge defines recesses. The rebar support bracket further includes a horizontal member projecting perpendicularly at a lower end of the elongated vertical member making an angled portion. The horizontal member has a planar surface that defines at least one mounting aperture provided to mount the rebar support bracket.

Abstract: A bar that is to be attached to a wall includes two stanchions, each stanchion supporting a portion of an elongated piece that extends from one stanchion to the other. A supporting connector having a lower portion attaches to and extends upwardly from each of the stanchions and a portion above the lower portion. A horizontal support extends horizontally from the portion above the lower portion of the connector between the stanchions and is disposed a distance D1 above each the stanchion. And, an adhesive is disposed beneath and attaches to the horizontal support and extends along a length thereof.

Abstract: Wall mountable accessory assemblies suitable to be mounted in a bathroom are disclosed. As an example, there is a grab bar assembly that has at least one mounting bracket, a grab bar, and a set screw. The bracket includes a rearward portion mountable to the wall and a frontal portion having a first recess which is forwardly open. The bracket also has a side catch groove structure. A projection on the grab bar is laterally slid into the catch groove structure and interfit therewith. The screw is inserted in the first recess so as to thereby drive a portion of the grab bar forward, inhibiting relative movement between the grab bar and the bracket.

Abstract: A bracket assembly for holding an article has a base having a rod receiving section that receives a rod assembly including a rod to which an article can be hung. The rod receiving section includes a hollow housing in which a spring and actuator are disposed. A sidewall of the housing has an opening including opposed slots that extend upwardly and away from each other from a junction where lower ends of the slots meet. An inner section of the rod assembly extends through the opening in the sidewall of the housing and is secured to the actuator. Upon the rod deflecting in response to wind loading of the article, the inner section of the rod assembly moves upwardly in one of the slots and translates the actuator upwardly compressing the spring. The compressed spring urges the actuator downwardly to return the actuator to a neutral position.

Abstract: A caddy for use in bathrooms is disclosed. The caddy can include removable shelf assemblies and/or accessory units for holding common household items. The removable shelf accessories can include knobs which can be turned to secure and free the shelf assemblies from a support member of the caddy. The accessory units can snap into place on the support member. The support member can include a telescoping section and biasing element which permits the caddy to adjust to different sized bathrooms. A sliding member can be incorporated to provide additional areas for attachment of shelf assemblies or accessory units.

Abstract: A wall mounting bracket assists in mounting equipment to a wall. The wall mounting bracket includes a plate, a post, and a sliding nut. At least a portion of the post extends outwardly from the surface of the plate. The plate is coupled to a stud or other mounting device positioned within the wall behind the sheetrock. The post includes an equipment mounting section and a spacer. The spacer is positioned between the equipment mounting section and the plate and accommodates different wall thicknesses. The bottom surface of the sliding nut is slidably and securely positionable along the top surface of the equipment mounting section. Different types of wall-mounted equipment is coupled to the sliding nut and the equipment mounting section of the wall mounting bracket. Use of the wall mounting bracket allows the equipment to be mounted to the wall without an exposed flange and preserve structural integrity.

Abstract: A trestle stabilizing device is provided for a model track assembly having support apparatuses or trestles for elevating track sections. The device includes a base including a first end section and a second end section. A first fastening member is connected to the first end section. A second fastening member is connected to the second end section. The first and second fastening members releasably secure the device to the track support apparatuses.

Abstract: A grab bar is attached to a wall of a shower enclosure with at least one anchor assembly. When installed, a grab bar mount flange covers the anchor assembly from view. The anchor assembly includes a flange collar with a collar bore and a jackscrew that is received within the collar bore. The flange collar is installed within an opening formed within the wall of the shower enclosure. A position of the jackscrew can be adjusted without having to remove the flange collar from the wall. Once properly adjusted, a fastener is inserted through the grab bar mount flange, flange collar, and jackscrew for securement to a wall structure behind the shower enclosure.

Abstract: A wall-mounted bathroom accessory support assembly for supporting a bathroom accessory and adapted to be affixed to a bathroom wallboard. The support assembly includes: a mounting bracket; a fastener assembly adapted to affix the mounting bracket to a wallboard; and an accessory post assembly including an accessory post and a post adapter permanently affixed to the accessory post. The accessory post includes a wall defining a central body and a distal portion configured to support a bathroom accessory. The accessory post wall defines an open interior region and an access opening extending through the wall. The post adapter is disposed within the interior region of the accessory post wall and including an axially extending pedestal that includes a cantilevered flange. The mounting bracket includes a catch mechanism. The post adapter cantilevered flange engages the catch mechanism to releasably secure the accessory post assembly to the mounting bracket.

In one embodiment, a bracket for mounting a rail to a support surface includes a first surface, a second surface positioned in a substantially parallel orientation relative to the first surface, and a third surface connecting the first surface and the second surface, where at least one of the first surface or the second surface has a perimeter that is at least partially curved.

Abstract: A fixture mounting bracket assembly is strong, easy to install, self-leveling, adjustable in multiple directions, and removable so that it results in little or no visible damage when removed from the wall. The fixture mounting bracket assembly includes a base assembly, an elbow, and a fixture support assembly.

Abstract: A system for holding an optical rod, contains an optical mount having a hole traversing throughout a body of the optical mount, wherein the optical mount is a c-shaped collar clamp. The system also contains an optical rod having a circumferential area and a split sleeve encompassing the optical rod circumferential area for at least a portion of the axial length of the optical rod. The split sleeve and optical rod are inserted within the optical mount hole, and the split sleeve contains an inner surface and an outer surface, where material of the split sleeve does not conform intimately with the optical rod so as to maintain total internal reflection conditions.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method that efficiently designs a document. The method initially provides the user with a selection of templates, each with a default configuration for content. After the user selects a template, the method provides the user with a selection of page designs to add to the selected template. When the user selects one of the page designs, the method adds the page design to a document that it presents to the user based on the selected template. Some embodiments provide methods for modifying default content of template documents that have several default text fields. When a user selects a default text field, the method of some embodiments selects the entire default text field for immediate editing by the user. In some embodiments, the method highlights a text field selected by the user. Also, in some embodiments, the method deletes the entire default content of the text field when the user provides new content for the selected field.
