Abstract: A panel mounting system includes a support frame having at least one longitudinal frame member with a recess and a catch. A panel has a gripping member extending along a substantial length of the panel, the gripping member having a resiliently deflectable cross-section for engaging the longitudinal frame member. In a first position the gripping member engages the recess so as to hold the panel to the frame. In a second position the gripping member engages the catch, the catch holding the gripping member in the second position, so as to free the panel from the frame.

Abstract: A gutter hanger system includes a gutter having an outer wall, an inner wall in spaced relation to the outer wall, and a base connecting the outer wall and the inner wall; a support surface supporting the inner wall; and a gutter hanger including opposing top and bottom ends, a coupling member located at the bottom end, and a retainer located at the top end. The gutter hanger is positioned intermediate the inner wall and the support surface, oriented in a downward direction, and the retainer is positioned atop the inner wall. A method for installing a gutter hanger system includes the steps of providing a gutter, providing a support surface to which an inner wall of the gutter is attached, inserting a gutter hanger intermediate the support surface and the inner wall of the gutter, and retaining a top end of the gutter hanger on the inner wall of the gutter.

Abstract: A smoke ejector hanger is disclosed herein. The hanger includes a flexible pad. Hook and loop fastening means are affixed to the flexible pad for selectively retaining the flexible pad in the form of a tube. A pair of straps is affixed at the midpoints thereof to the flexible pad such that each of the straps has a pair of free ends extending outwardly from the flexible pad. One of a number of releasable fasteners is affixed to each of the free ends. Each of the releasable fasteners has a snap catch.

Abstract: A hanger, for supporting a retail item from a separate support structure, includes a support interface portion, a transverse section, an intermediate section, and a base section. The support interface portion is configured to selectively receive the separate support structure. The transverse section extends from the support interface portion and defines a bottom edge of the transverse section. The intermediate section extends from the transverse section. The base section extends downwardly from the intermediate section. The base section defines two side edges tapered toward one another such that a width of the base section gradually decreases as the base section extends away from the intermediate section. The base section is configured to partially deflect to slide through an elongated opening of the retail item such that during use the intermediate section and the base section are positioned on opposite sides of the elongated opening and the intermediate section extends through the elongated opening.

Abstract: A fine-adjusting apparatus for an overhead projector has a mounting frame, an assembling device, a pitch-adjusting device, a left-right adjusting device and a connecting mount. The mounting frame is adapted to mount on a wall. The assembling device is detachably connected to the mounting frame and has a sliding mount and a base mount. The sliding mount is slidably mounted in the mounting frame. The base mount is pivotally connected to the sliding mount. The pitch-adjusting device is connected to the assembling device and has a pitching frame, a guiding bar and a pitch-adjusting shaft. The left-right adjusting device is connected to the pitch-adjusting device and has an adjusting frame, a left-right adjusting shaft and a linking element. The connecting mount is pivotally connected to the left-right adjusting device, is used to connect with the overhead projector and has a connecting board, two pivot frames and multiple extending arms.

Abstract: An article support in long thin rail form (11) is described. This rail is adhesively mated to a thicker ribbon (12), the remaining adhesive major face of that ribbon is affixed adhesively to a support structure (wall, under-shelf, door) (FIG. 1, FIG. 9). A double ended hook (15, 17, 30) linked to the rail through a pierced tab (24?, 27?) formed in the rail (23, 26) or coupled directly to the rail with a spring (17) or through a hasp (14, 20?) supports the article. These items are arranged so that the double ended hook may be moved to alternate positions on the rail without use of additional equipment without disturbing adhesive bonds. Use of a thin rail conserves material and permits effective application of pressure to the ribbon-structure interface to insure bonding and permits delivery of a rail-ribbon-protective liner assembly in space saving coiled form.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a recessed electric fixture in a hole in a support surface having a housing and flexible member with attached spring clips to secure the housing against the support surface is disclosed. The flexible member and spring clips are attached to the recessed electric fixture by tightening members, and inward pressure applied to the tightening members causes the flexible member to bend so that the spring clips are moved inwardly towards the housing, allowing the spring clips and the flexible member to pass through the hole in the support surface. The flexible member unbends when the pressure on the tightening members is removed, allowing the spring cops to move outwardly from the housing so that a surface-bearing section of the spring clips bears against the back side of the support surface and retains the electric fixture in the support surface hole.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for improved traffic control devices including a continuous central hanger support system that is integral to the traffic control device and provides a central load path. In an embodiment of the invention, the terminal housing and traffic signal housing of the traffic control device can be included in a single unit housing. A single unit housing can also include an integral backplate. Embodiments with an integral backplate can provide a solar energy generation system that utilizes a traffic signal's exterior surface as a substratum to secure thin-film photo cell laminates (TFPVL). The continuous central hanger integrated with the single unit housing can provide the traffic control device with improved securement of electrical components and structural stability for survivability during high wind events as compared to conventional traffic signal devices.

Abstract: A conduit link system for concealing conduit linking a power source in a ceiling to a suspended load such as a chandelier. The conduit link system generally includes an upper link member for mounting to a ceiling and electrically connecting to a power source. A first central link member will generally be interlocked and electrically connected to the upper link member. Additional central link members may be interlocked and electrically connected with the first central link member and other central link members depending on the distance from the power source to the load. A lower link member is linked and electrically connected to the lowest central link member. The lower link member may then be mounted to a load such as a chandelier. The electrical conduit is fully concealed within the housing of the link members, thus allowing the load to be suspended without the presence unsightly wires.

Abstract: A retail assembly includes a product assembly for retail sale and a hanger. The product assembly defines rear surface and a footprint. The hanger includes an elongated plate, a hinge, and an extension member. The elongated plate defines a first elongated edge and a front surface coupled to the rear surface of the product assembly. The hinge extends from the first elongated edge. The extension member extends from the hinge in an opposite direction as the elongated plate and defines a support surface for interacting with a retail display. The hanger rotates about the hinge between an unfolded position and a folded position. When the hanger is in one of the folded position and the unfolded position, the extension member is maintained within the footprint of the product assembly. When the hanger is in the other position, the extension member extends outside the footprint of the product assembly.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to a transponder holder for controlling the readability of a transponder by an interrogator. Embodiments of the transponder holder can be removable mounted to a support structure, such as a windshield of a motor vehicle. The transponder can be supported by a plate of the transponder holder, which can be moved to position the transponder in a readable position and an unreadable position to allow a user to select whether the transponder is readable by an interrogator.

Abstract: A suspension system for a cryostat includes a coupling mechanism, a fixation body, and a pin. The coupling mechanism is joined to an outer vessel and coupled with a strap. The fixation body is joined to an inner vessel. The fixation body extends between a front side that faces the coupling mechanism and an opposite receiving side with an interior channel extending from the receiving side to the front side. The channel defines a front opening in the front side and a rear opening in the receiving side. The pin is loaded into the fixation body through the rear opening in the receiving side of the fixation body with the strap looped around the pin and extending through the front opening to the coupling mechanism. The pin secures the coupling mechanism to the fixation body via the strap by engaging the fixation body inside the channel.

By opening and then closing, or opening and then moving the axial members 121 and 131, the user can fit or remove them into or from the fitting holes 91 and 92, respectively, so as to mount or demount the cabinet to or from the supporting base. By tilting the cabinet by an angle when fitting the axial members into the fitting holes, respectively, the user can change the rotational attitude of the cabinet 1 with respect to the supporting base. Thereby, the user can use the display unit at different times and at different positions with simple manipulations.

Abstract: An easy-mount in-ceiling speaker mount has multiple fastening units mounted on an in-ceiling speaker. Each fastening unit has a base frame, a torsion spring securely mounted on the base frame, a pivoting member pivotally mounted on the base frame, a slider plate longitudinally movable on the base frame, and a spring holder receiving the torsion spring, pivotally mounted on the base frame and blocked by the pivoting member. When the speaker mount is moved upwardly through a ceiling, a bottom of the ceiling holds a ceiling support formed on the slider plate and the pivoting member is pushed and pivoted. After being unblocked from the pivoting member, the spring holder is pivoted to hold a top of the ceiling in completion of the mounting of the speaker mount. Accordingly, the mounting procedures of the speaker mount can be easily achieved by simply pushing it upwardly through a ceiling.

Abstract: A lifting and storage mechanism for storing a component in a garage using the energy of a powered garage door opening and closing system is disclosed. The lifting and storage mechanism includes a pulley system for raising and lowering the stored components and a latching mechanism having a spring latch for securing the components in a stored condition. In order to lower the stored components from a storage position, an operator initiates manual release of the spring latch or activation of an electromechanical release combined with activation of the motor of the powered garage door opening and closing system.

Abstract: A track clip hanger assembly is composed of two parts that are mated together in a slidable manner to attach the assembly to a hanging ceiling track. Each of the two track clip hanger parts include an arrangement for mating one part to the other and each of the two parts include an arrangement for attaching the assembly to a ceiling track such that the assembly hangs from the bottom of the track when the two parts are in the mated position and the two parts of the track clip hanger assembly are mated in such a manner that the two parts will not accidentally come apart or un-mate. The track clip hanger assembly is designed to allow an electronic device to be attached to it so that the device can not accidentally become un-attached.

Abstract: A source roll having a first layer of liner paper and a second roll of two-sided adhesive is fed through a pair of rollers having six aligned rotary die cutters sized to cut through only the adhesive layer. The excess adhesive web is peeling off and removed from the process. The liner paper with spaced apart sets of six aligned adhesive dots is then laminated with a clear plastic having two sides, one uncoated and one coated, to allow the clear plastic to be easily rolled up and then unrolled, and the liner paper is peeled off and removed from the process. The material remaining having the adhesive circular dots is cut into six long strips each having six adhesive dots which can be used to display small discrete packages.
