Abstract: A concrete forming system includes telescoping jacks, bottom chords and top chords. The bottom and top chords separate the telescoping jacks into spaced, parallel rows. Diagonal struts extend between the bottom chords and the top chords within each row. Cross braces extend between corresponding telescoping jacks of adjacent rows. Joists are supported on the top chords and/or on beams supported by the telescoping jacks, and in turn support forming members. The component parts of the system may be used to make flying truss forms, flying pan forms, structural beam forms, rolling deck scaffold forms, column hung forms and wall forms.

  • Patent number: 4572475
Abstract: A box-shaped hollow form section which is used as a component of a concrete pouring form has two mutually inclined abutting upright panels and two end panels at the upper and lower ends of the upright panels to define therewith an elongated chamber affording access to the ends of conventional panels which can be connected to coupling members or boards bounding portions of the chamber and extending from the inner sides of the upright panels. The coupling members or boards have elongated slots to afford access to the ends of conventional panels, and such coupling members or boards define an elongated inlet which affords access to the chamber. The form section can be installed in the region which is to constitute the corner between two concrete sidewalls and a ceiling.

  • Patent number: 4261543
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and equipment for forming concrete buildings. A concrete building is presented utilizing wall form sections which are coupled with a roof form section. The roof form section comprises an elongated dome shaped section with transversely extending side sections on either side thereof. The roof form section is held in place by a hoist which is mounted on a movable trailer. By utilizing the aforedescribed form section, a concrete building may be formed utilizing a monolithic pour wherein the walls are poured followed immediately by the roof. A pivotal trough system located on top of the roof form section allows concrete to be distributed all around the roof with minimal labor.
