  • Patent number: 11781669
Abstract: An air valve comprises a casing, a valve body driving assembly and a valve body. The casing comprises a chamber, a vent hole, and at least one switching hole communicating with the chamber. The valve body driving assembly is disposed in the chamber, and comprises a pusher, a shape memory metal wire in a linkage relationship with the pusher, and two conductive members disposed in the casing and located at two ends of the shape memory metal wire respectively, the pusher travels a uniaxial displacement stroke due to a temporary change of the shape memory metal wire. The valve body is disposed in the chamber and faces the switching hole, when the pusher travels the uniaxial displacement stroke, the valve body is driven to rotate a central angle relative to the switching hole to change a ventilation state between the switching hole and the chamber.

  • Patent number: 9092037
Abstract: A pressure-regulating valve comprises: a core assembly, a slidable member, and a biasing member. The core assembly comprises an intake section, a diverter section and an output section. The slidable member has a collar and at least one internal flow path terminating at first and second openings in its inner surface. If the slidable member is in a first position, fluid can pass through the valve. If the slidable member is in a second position, fluid cannot pass through the valve.

  • Patent number: 6902379
Abstract: A variable displacement compressor and a displacement control valve for use in such compressors, varies the displacement of the compressor by closing or opening a control path between a discharge chamber or a suction chamber and a crank chamber. The valve includes a valve body for closing or opening the control path; a control rod; and a rod passage receiving the control rod. A first end of the control rod is affixed to the valve body, and the control rod extends from the valve body to a solenoid for urging the valve body to close or open the control path. The control rod is tapered, such that a first cross-sectional area of the control rod proximate to the valve body is greater than a second cross-sectional area of the control rod proximate to the solenoid to close or open the control path.

  • Patent number: 6769665
Abstract: An electric valve actuator with a failsafe device for a rotary type valve that is coupled to a drive shaft screw by means of a clutch. A cam cylinder is secured to the drive shaft screw and is also connected to the stem of the valve. A cam follower is slidably mounted upon the drive shaft and traces a cam profile form in the cylinder as the cylinder turns. A series of torsion springs are connected to the cylinder so that the springs are wound into a loaded condition as the cam cylinder moves from a valve closed position to a cam opening position. In the event of a power failure while the valve is opened, the clutch disengages the motor from the drive shaft and the springs unwind quickly to move the cam cylinder toward the valve closing position. At this time the motion of the cylinder is controlled by the cam follower which regulates the valve closing sequence.

  • Patent number: 6308730
Abstract: A gas stream monitor shall be provided that facilitates the adjustment of the reseat flow. The gas stream monitor consists of a gas-tight casing whose interior is equipped with a seat for a reseat body that is movable inside the casing and is kept in open position against the flow direction by weight and/or spring force, in which the flow cross-section, surface area of the reseat body and the forces are determined in such a manner that gas stream monitor leaves its open position at a defined value of the reseat flow and is moved towards the seat of the casing, so that the gas conduit is closed in the shut position, and has outside the casing at least one manipulator to adjust the spring pre-tension and/or the stroke of the reseat body. The gas stream monitor serves to automatically shut off gas conduits upon the occurrence of an inadmissible flow increase due to, e.g. a damaged gas conduit or a defective consumer.

  • Patent number: 5411239
Abstract: A control valve having a pneumatic actuator and positioner to move the stem of a globe-type valve. The actuator has a spring-opposed piston that moves a chassis including a cam with an inclined plane. The inclination of the cam plane can be varied to precisely displace the valve stem. The amount of displacement selected, together with a specific valve plug contour, yield a specific maximum flow coefficient of the valve at that setting. The setting can be changed to accommodate moderate to very low fluid flows. A numerical display on the actuator may be used to register the flow coefficient selected.
