Patent number: 4149565Abstract: A valve assembly is provided in which a first poppet member and at least one subsequent poppet member each having a valve face engageable with a valve seat between first and second passages. Patent number: 4128227Abstract: A servo-controlled valve is described, in which a circular flexible diaphragm is inserted in a cylindrical chamber wherein the pressure can be varied in order to move the center part of the diaphragm towards and away from a valve seat. The diaphragm is loosely inserted in the chamber and has a peripheral flange fitting to the cylindrical wall of the chamber. The chamber is closed by a closure member which, when removed, allows the introduction of the diaphragm into the pressure chamber. The closure member is by means of threads screwed onto a sleeve-like projection upon the valve housing wider than the diaphragm. A central inward projection upon the closure member forms a stop delimiting the opening motion of the diaphragm. Said stop is displaceable by manually turning the closure member. A valve and a push button both situated centrally in the closure member control the pressure of the chamber.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 1977Date of Patent: December 5, 1978Assignee: Sunnex Equipment ABInventor: Inge. Patent number: 4109895Abstract: A remote actuated metering valve system for supplying water to a washing fixture includes a main metering valve and at least one remote actuating relief valve connected to the main valve by tubing. The main metering valve has an inlet and an outlet with a valve seat between them and a movable piston which when the valve is in the normal closed position has its front face seated on the valve seat and its elongated nose projecting through the valve seat. The pressure chamber of the main valve is connected by tubing to a normally closed remote push button relief valve. A second length of tubing leads from the relief valve to the supply source at a point downstream of the valve seat.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 1976Date of Patent: August 29, 1978Assignee: Bradley CorporationInventors: William A. Patent number: 3934816Abstract: An electromagnetically operated fluid control valve having an armature mounted within the valve housing and a coil assembly mounted outside of the housing. Actuation of the coil assembly causes the armature to shift away from a valve port, thereby allowing fluid flow through the port. The armature is mounted on the housing by means of a torsion bar which permits fluid flow to be proportional to the input signal to the coil assembly and minimizes hysteresis. The coil assembly includes a permanent magnet and also a pair of pole pieces. Pole extensions are sealed in the housing wall in alignment with the pole pieces and adjacent to the armature. Thus, the coil assembly is not subject to corrosion or contamination from fluid passing through the valve.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 1974Date of Patent: January 27, 1976Assignee: International Telephone & Telegraph CorporationInventors: Melvin L.
