    Abstract: Roller system (10) to be installed at a base (12) of a domestic appliance, such as an oven, a dishwasher or the like, said roller system (10) comprising a housing (14) to be fixed at the base (12); a turning lever (16) pivotingly attached at its one free end to the housing (14); a roller (18) rotatably attached to the other free end of the turning lever (16); a tension arm (20) pivotingly attached to the turning lever (16), and a set screw (22) to be seated at the base (12) and being in thread engagement with a thread provided at the tension arm (20), wherein the roller system (10) is designed in such a manner that, when installed at the base (12) of a domestic appliance, the actuation of the set screw (22) leads to a pivoting of the turning lever (16) and thus to a height adjustment of the roller (18).

The device also includes a front frame pivotally connected to the rear frame and supported by a drive wheel which is driven by a hydraulic motor and steered by a steering arm connected to the front frame which also houses the electronic circuitry for the device. A cabinet is mounted on the rear frame for housing the electrical and hydraulic components for the device, and for reinforcing the frame to avoid sagging and lateral shifting of the frame.

    Abstract: An attachment or accessory to a wheeled floor jack of the type that rolls during use is disclosed. The accessory comprises a flat, elongated guard sized to receive and carry the wheels of the jack and to captivate them within it. The accessory provides a flat platform or base on which and within which the jack can roll and over which the weight lifted can be spread and serves to keep the wheels from the ambient surface. The attachment thus overcomes the problem encountered when using such jacks on a soft surface, such as snow, sand, dirt or asphalt, of having the wheels embed and the jack "snow plow," or slip. The attachment is designed to remain attached to the jack after insertion, but to easily receive the jack and be removed from it. The attachment also aids in handling the jack and limits or eliminates undesirable rolling, for example, when the jack is stored in the trunk of an automobile.

    Abstract: A machine stepper has a machine-supporting platform that normally stands on the floor by means of fixed support posts. A substantially rectangular frame is provided underneath this platform and can shift relative to it. This frame is constituted by a pair of generally parallel longitudinal members and a pair of generally parallel transverse members pivoted together at corners at each of which is provided a respective upright and vertically extensible leg. Two of the diagonally opposite legs pivot about respective longitudinally extending horizontal pivot axes and the other two legs pivot about respective transverse horizontal pivot axes. Cylinders are provided for horizontally shifting the frame relative to the platform so that when the legs have been extended to lift the posts of the platform off the ground these cylinders can step the platform horizontally and when the expansible legs are shortened it is set back down on the floor.
