Threaded Patents (Class 269/65)
  • Publication number: 20080122152
Abstract: A tooling system comprises a plurality of elements (24) arranged in an array, each element being supported on a cross rail (22) and being moveable relative to the other elements in the array. Each element terminates in a threaded support post (25) extending from a first end of the element, and is associated with a corresponding internally threaded aperture in the cross rail upon which the element is supported. The tooling system further comprises an adjusting component in the form of a fork (46) which is driveable in rotation and engageable with an element of the array to drive the element in rotation, upon rotation of the fork.

  • Patent number: 5413523
Abstract: A grinding machine includes a working table slidably engaged on the base, an opening is formed in the base, a belt is extended through the opening, a rotating wheel is coupled to the belt for driving the belt, another belt is extended between the working table and the base and includes two ends in which one is fixed to the working table and the other is fixed to a block, a bolt is engaged with the working and one of the blocks for moving the blocks toward each other or away from each other so as to adjust the tension of the belt. The belts are shielded by the working table and will not be splashed by cooling oil used in the grinding machine.

  • Patent number: 4846452
Abstract: For use in a machine capable of forming integrated circuits or the like on an odd-shaped, odd-sized semiconductor wafer, an improved chuck assembly, for increasing the rotational adjustment capabilities of the chuck assembly and a semiconductor wafer supported thereon. The chuck assembly comprises a mounting ring having a circular configuration formed of a plate and a peripheral wall forming a circular recess extending from a surface of the mounting ring. The chuck assembly also comprises a chuck plate having a circular configuration adapted to be received within the recess of the mounting ring. A lever extends radially from one edge of the chuck plate through an opening in the side wall of the mounting ring. An adjusting bracket is secured to the exterior edge of the mounting ring.

  • Patent number: 3966528
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for connecting a fitting to a side wall of a pipe. The apparatus includes a frame comprising two ring clamps for mounting the frame on the pipe. Guide rods extend perpendicularly and outwardly of the pipe. A base plate is slidably mounted on the guide rods for movement relative to the pipe. A receiving member on the base plate is adapted to receive the fitting to be joined to the pipe. A top bar is fixedly attached between the ends of the guide rods remote from the rings. A threaded shaft is positioned with one end attached to the receiving member and with its second end passing through the top bar. Within the top bar are means for selectively engaging the threaded shaft so that the shaft may be translated through the top bar by turning the shaft. Alternatively, the shaft may be disengaged from the top bar whereby the shaft may be moved freely through the top bar.
