Tiddlywink Game Patents (Class 273/353)
  • Patent number: 11027179
Abstract: A portable game includes a lower table forming a circular playing surface and an edge having a diameter D1, an upper table forming a circular playing surface and an edge having a diameter D2, wherein D1>D2. A vertical support member interconnects the lower and upper tables. Both playing surfaces include an inner circular hub line extending about the center of the respective playing surfaces, and a plurality of radially directed rays formed on the respective playing surfaces. Each ray is circumferentially equally spaced from each immediately adjacent ray, wherein each pair of adjacent rays defines a trapezoidal play segment extending between the edge and hub line. An outer cup positioning marker is centrally formed in each play segment at a common radial distance from the edge, and an inner cup positioning marker is centrally formed in each play segment at a common radial distance from the hub line.

  • Patent number: 6267378
Abstract: A piece-bouncing game wherein each player seeks to propel a play piece to make it bounce on a playing surface and then travel in a trajectory which causes the piece to land on a flat platform. The player scores a point in the game only if the piece lands and remains on the platform. The game consists of a cylindrical dish having a flat base on which is anchored an array of plugs, the play pieces being mountable on the plugs. Each play piece is formed by a circular collar having a membrane lying across its central plane and provided with a center hole. In the storage mode of the game, in which the play pieces are stored within the dish, each plug is plugged into the center hole of the piece mounted thereon. In the active mode of the game, the pieces are taken off the plugs and the dish is inverted and placed on the playing surface whereby the base of the dish is then raised above the playing surface to serve as the platform.

  • Patent number: 5624121
Abstract: A game comprising a plurality of substantially rigid playing discs each having an upper and lower surface bound by a circumferential ridge which is up-raised with respect to the upper and lower surfaces so as to provide a recess in the upper surface for accommodating therein a corresponding protrusion in the lower surface of an adjacent playing disc placed thereon, the upper surface having a visual image thereon. In use, the playing discs are stacked one top of another and each player is provided with a turn for striking a topmost one of the playing discs towards a periphery thereof so as thereby to upturn a number of the playing discs in the stack, the player claiming for himself those discs whose upper surface is downmost. An object of the game is to maximize the number of upturned playing discs.

  • Patent number: 5465976
Abstract: A substantially planar elliptical gamepiece with one or more indentations provided in the outer perimeter thereof. The position of an indentation is predetermined so that a finger flick, when applied to the indentation, is likely to propel the gamepiece with optimum height, length and accuracy. A substantially planar protector is also disclosed, with a hole provided to receive the gamepiece therein for storage when not in use. When the gamepiece is received into the protector, a substantially continuous common planar surface is formed, suitable for imposing collectable and tradeable images thereon by printing or other means.
