Abstract: A seal for a wall of a vehicle includes a first plate that defines a first slot, and the first plate is to be coupled to the wall. The seal includes a second plate that defines a guide that extends outwardly from the second plate. The second plate is positioned adjacent to the first plate such that the guide is in communication with the first slot. The seal includes a third plate that defines a second slot that receives the guide, and the third plate is positioned adjacent to the second plate and is to be coupled to the wall.
Abstract: For example, in an earphone in which left and right earphone units are connected by a cable and a remote part or a battery part is interposed on the cable, a bush structure is provided to a part where the cable is led out of the remote part and the like and suppresses the occurrence of disconnection in the vicinity of the lead-out part. The bush structure is provided to a lead-out part 5a of a cable 4 and includes a bush body 2 provided to the lead-out part and formed with a first through hole 2a2 where the cable is inserted. The first through hole gradually increases in diameter toward a lead-out direction of the cable.

Abstract: The shaft sealing structure includes a seal ring that has abutment portions formed by dividing the seal ring along the axial direction and that is provided around a main shaft in a ring-like manner; a support member that is provided in the seal ring along the circumferential direction of the main shaft; and a thermoswitch that is connected to the support member between the abutment portions and that presses the support member toward the center of the main shaft when the temperature rises to a temperature higher than that during normal operation, in which the seal ring is fixed at a position separated from the main shaft during the normal operation and is moved by the support member toward the center of the main shaft when the temperature rises to a temperature higher than that during the normal operation.
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a reusable valve in which a seal portion is co-molded with and overmolded to the valve stem to provide a secure mechanical bond therebetween. In one embodiment, the valve includes a snap fit between the valve stem and a retaining cap to provide easy assembly of the valve as well as an efficient and compact retention mechanism for a biasing spring and the valve stem in relation to the valve housing. In one embodiment, the valve includes an easy-to-use opening and closing mechanism that provides tactile feedback to the user when moving the valve stem to an open position and to a closed position to inflate, deflate, or maintain air or gas pressure in the inflatable article. The present disclosure also provides a dunnage bag with such valve.

Abstract: A sealed spherical bearing includes a ball disposed in a race, an annular seal extending between the race and the ball, and a retainer secured to the seal. Abstract: A seal assembly can be incorporated into a track pin joint assembly including a pin defining a longitudinal axis, a first member and a second member both coaxial with the pin about the longitudinal axis. Abstract: A bearing seal assembly includes a pair segmented circumferential or a carbon ring seals to contain oil in the bearing compartments of a gas turbine engine or other mechanical device. The pair of seals, an oil-side seal and an air-side seal, are axially-spaced between the oil and the air in the housing. Air at an elevated pressure is introduced between the seals. This elevated air pressure urges the seals axially apart from one another and radially inward to improve the seal. A backup seal is provided adjacent either the oil-side seal or the air-side seal. In the event of failure of either the oil-side seal or the air-side seal which results in the loss of air pressure, the backup seal will provide at least a minimum level of seal between the oil compartment and the air in the housing.

Abstract: A guide to support a shaft such as a pump pull rod (11) which is capable of both rotary and reciprocal motion. The guide prevents any misalignment of rod (11) damaging a seal, e.g. a stuffing box, held in space (24). Guide element (18) has central portion (19) and annular flange (25). Abstract: The oil seal of the present invention for a valve stem includes a triple seal lip having a cam chamber side lip, a first combustion chamber side lip and a second combustion chamber side lip. Notches are provided on the second combustion chamber side lip and other notches are provided on the first combustion chamber side lip. These notches permit flow communication from the cam chamber side with the combustion chamber side. The notches provided on the combustion chamber side lip and the notches provided on the second combustion chamber side lip are placed circumferentially shifted from each other so that the notches are not axially aligned relative to the notches. Preferably, the non-notched portion is axially aligned and spaced apart relative to the notched portion.
