  • Patent number: 7971898
Abstract: A multiple link, self-jacking mobile work cart includes the main body defining upper and lower portions supported by the plurality of rotating wheels. A multiple link, self-jacking mechanism is provided in connection with two laterally deployable work tables which can serve as infeed/outfeed tables for a power tool or the like supported by the main body of the cart. The multiple link mechanism includes an actuator arm, a linkage arm, a control arm and moveable support legs all pivotally connected to one another such that when the work tables are deployed, substantial weight placed on the tables is transferred to the support legs, rather than the wheels which support the main body.

Abstract: A trailer convertible between an in-use configuration and a storage configuration is provide with a fixed draw bar (4) extending to the full length of the trailer. A transverse cross-member (6) being pivotally connected to the drawbar (4). At least two foldable floor panel are mounted onto the drawbar (4). Each floor panel has a side panel fixed to its outside edge The floor panels are folded to an essentially vertical position and the transverse cross-member (6) rotated through about 90° to be aligned substantially parallel with the drawbar (4). A front and rear end panel are replaceably mounted onto the trailer. When converting the trailer from the in-use configuration to the storage configuration, the front and rear end panels are removed. The trailer being provided with wheel assemblies (20) pivotally mounted to the cross-member (6) and being rotatable through 90° when folding the trailer into the storage position.

  • Publication number: 20100308551
Abstract: A stroller has a frame structure with two laterally spaced apart sides and a frame extension on each side. Each frame extension projects rearward and terminates at a free end. The frame structure is collapsible laterally from a side-to-side in-use spacing between the frame extensions to a side-to-side compact spacing less than the in-use spacing between the frame extensions. A push handle is on the free end of each frame extension. A cross-brace extends between and interconnects the frame extensions. The cross-brace has a central section and a pair of flanking sections pivotally connected to one another. The cross brace is selectively reconfigurable from a stiff condition to a loose condition with the frame extensions in the in-use spacing. The stiff condition maintains the in-use spacing between the frame extensions and the loose condition permits the frame extensions to collapse to the compact spacing.

Abstract: The apparatus is a baby stroller that folds easily. A fold bar preventing the sides from moving toward each other is released by pulling a flexible wire. The wire releases a latch locking together pivoting sections of the fold bar and also activates a cam to move the sections over center to permit the sides to be pushed together. The stroller also includes a single action brake system that is designed to not interfere with the folding action and a hard surface footrest that folds because it is supported on a continuous length of flexible material that acts as hinges on both sides and the center of the footrest.
