Abstract: This disclosure discloses a print label editing apparatus comprising: an operation device that enables an operator to edit print contents to be printed on a print-receiving tape; a display device that displays a print image to be printed; a reference position determining portion that determines whether or not a first reference position in a printable area for an object area exists, based on a preset position of said object area, said object area including a print object within said printable area of a printing device for said print-receiving tape; and an object resetting portion that scales and resets said object area by using said first reference position as a standard in a case where it has been determined that said first reference position exists by said reference position determining portion and a scaling operation that enlarges or reduces said print object has been performed by said operation device.

Abstract: A method of preparing documents for the transmission of secure information comprises the steps of preparing a first laminar element (13; 37) with a peripheral region (15) separable from a central region (14), printing the secure information on the central region (14) of the first laminar element (13; 37), or on a central region (19) of a second laminar element (12; 36), positioning the two laminar elements (13; 37, 12; 36) in face-to-face relation, with the face of the element bearing the information facing the said other element, and securing the element together around the peripheral regions.

Abstract: A strip-shaped label has a transparent plastic film layer partially covered by an opaque film layer. A window area not covered by the opaque film layer remains. The film layers are bonded to one another using an adhesive layer. Before attachment, the label is positioned on a carrier. A bow-shaped suspension tab is produced through punching, on whose bottom non-adhesive areas are provided, which allow a suspension tab to be pulled out of the label plane easily for suspension of the container. Two printed voucher sections are implemented in the opaque label film. The transparent film layer has an adhesive-repellent coating, which is also transparent, below the voucher sections. In the stuck-on state, the label area in which the voucher sections are positioned overlap the transparent window area. After removal of one of the voucher sections, the window area is visible and the container contents may be viewed.

Abstract: A mailing assembly for use in connection with non-domestic delivery of a mailpiece wherein the sender of the mailpiece is required to complete a sender's declaration. The assembly includes a mailing form that may be sub-divided into customs declarations forms, a dispatch notice and a backing sheet. The backing sheet may be peeled off the mailing form exposing adhesive on the backing sheet. The backing sheet may be folded in such a way as to provide an envelope to adhere to the mailpiece to be non-domestically delivered. The customs declarations forms and, dispatch notice may then be inserted into the envelope whereupon the mailpiece may be non-domestically delivered. The customs declaration forms and dispatch notice of the mailing form may be variably printed with information to aid in the non-domestic delivery of the mailpiece.

Abstract: A method and system for unloading continuous forms media from an image forming device while utilizing full forms. The full form utilization feature of the present invention is applicable to printing onto sheets having multiple forms. During an automatic unload operation, the last printed form from a print run is unloaded and the first unused form is positioned to be the first printed form on a subsequent run. The full form utilization feature of the present invention reduces or minimizes the number of forms wasted during print runs.

Abstract: A method of forming a label for displaying information includes providing a release liner having an upper surface. A discrete patch of leaflet adhesive is applied to the upper surface of the release liner. The leaflet adhesive patch has an end edge. A leaflet is provided having a bottom panel and a top panel overlying and connected to the bottom panel along a fold line. The leaflet is applied to the release liner and the leaflet adhesive patch such that a first portion of the bottom panel overlies the leaflet adhesive patch and a second portion of the bottom panel adjacent the fold line extends beyond the end edge of the leaflet adhesive patch.

Abstract: Methods are provided for forming a label product made up of first and second types of labels formed integrally together in which the first type includes primary information to be used on a first type of substrate and the second type includes secondary information to be used on a second type of substrate.

Abstract: A combination game tag holder and game kill tag, the game kill tag having printed information in segments along at least one marginal edge thereof, selected segments of the printed information being adapted to be removed following a game kill. The game tag holder has first and second parallel and transparent sheets conforming in dimension to the game kill tag and closely spaced from one another to contain the game kill tag therebetween. The transparent sheets are made of a material that is more resistant to cutting than the game kill tag. Plural and separate notches are provided in at least one marginal edge of the game tag holder, the notches and segmented printed information being aligned when the game kill tag is between the aforesaid sheets so that the segmented printed information is exposed through the notches.

Abstract: A listing apparatus, comprising, in its broadest aspects, a transparent plastic coverplate, a rigid backplate, and a spring punch assembly. The rigid, transparent, plastic coverplate includes a coverplate slot system comprising a plurality of interconnected coverplate listing slots being connected by at least one coverplate connecting slot. The rigid backplate has a plurality of backplate slots disposed therein, the rigid backplate being securely disposed in a spaced relationship with the clear plastic coverplate. The backplate slots are aligned with the coverplate listing slots. The spring punch assembly, which includes a punch rod, is located within the coverplate slot system and slidable therethrough. Connectors provide the spaced relationship between the clear plastic cover and the rigid backplate so as to accommodate a list to be inserted therebetween.
