Abstract: In each page of a calendar or a notebook in which a rectangle paper is folded in eight with one side thereof divided into four equal parts and the other side thereof divided into two equal parts and each of front and rear regions of the rectangle paper divided into equal parts by folded lines serves as a page, an identifier which enables specification of the position of the page in the whole rectangle paper is printed. The identifier includes, for example, a combination of alphabets, numerals, and colors. In another embodiment, the identifier is an icon printed at a corner of each page. The icon has a high density portion, and the position of the page with respect to the whole rectangle paper is expressed as the position of the high density portion with respect to the whole icon.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides improved color-coded labels, and improved systems and methods for utilizing such color-coded labels. More particularly, the present disclosure provides advantageous systems/methods for utilizing printable color-coded pattern label arrays for patch field applications and the like. The present disclosure provides improved methods for labeling data center applications (e.g., patch field applications). In exemplary embodiments, by fabricating a pre-printed, repeating pattern of the colors defined by industry specification TIA-598 to a roll/sheet of printable labels, this color coding can be advantageously applied to an array of patch field labels.

Each sticky note sheet has a note-writing region, an index tab region projecting from a right lateral edge thereof, and a removable pressure sensitive adhesive layer provided on a bottom face thereof in proximity to a left lateral edge thereof. The index tab regions of the sticky note sheets of one of the stacks are staggered with respect to the index tab regions of the sticky note sheets of the other stack in a top-to-bottom direction, and are aligned to the same in a direction parallel to the lateral edges of the sticky note sheets. A glue layer binds the left lateral edges of the sticky note sheets of all the stacks. A partition sheet is adhered to the bottom face of a lowermost sticky note sheet of an upper stack.

Abstract: A machine-printable sheet material having pop-out index tabs. The index tabs have a printable region on a face of the sheet material opposite from the face from which the index tabs will pop-out. Each index tab is perforated along its perimeter except at a fold line. The index tab is rotatable at the fold line when it pops out. Each index tab has ears that are insertible into slits positioned from the edge of the sheet material such that when the ears are inserted into and engaged with the slits, the printable region extends from the edge of the sheet material to provide an index tab.

Abstract: A folded folder track with sliding tab either writable and/or channel tab which travels along the folded track area of the folder whereby the user can position the tab wherever it is needed along the top horizontal edge of the folder. This allows every tab in the filing system to be moved into a convenient, viewable position. Also, the user will be able to maintain the files in alpha numeric order without the tabs being hidden behind other tabs or without hiding other tabs which provides for quick and efficient retrieval of folders and the filing of folders. This folded folder track and writable tab will be of various lengths and colors to be of greater value for the user with multiple identification needs.

Abstract: An improved label sheet assembly and application kit including an optional liner sheet, a carrier strip, and a removably attached label facestock sheet. The application kit further includes a stacked group of tabbed sheets and an alignment guide. The label facestock sheet assembly includes a plurality of cut lines defining a perimeter of a plurality of facestock labels spaced from one another in an offset manner that substantially corresponds to a set of staggered tabs extending outwardly from a stacked group of divider sheets. The carrier strip is defined by a plurality of cuts having substantially the same shape as a portion of the perimeters of the facestock labels, but with slightly smaller dimensions as its respective label. The user may separate the carrier strip from the liner sheet, exposing an adhesive back of the precut labels and place and align the carrier strip across the divider sheets such that the precut labels are placed on the tabs of the divider sheets.

Abstract: A system for inserting numeric labels automatically includes: a setting module (10) configured for setting label properties of inserting numeric labels to define a numeric labels configuration; an input/output module (12) configured for reading the label properties, importing a technical drawing file to be inserted with the numeric labels; a selecting module (14) configured for extracting an array of references to be inserted with the numeric label from the technical drawing file; and a labeling module (16) configured for labeling the references in the array of references with numeric labels correspondingly according to the numeric labels configuration. A related method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A label including a first layer having a first surface adapted to being printed on and a second layer proximate to a second surface of the first layer. The second layer includes two or more sections having a gap therebetween. Each gap in the second layer defines a fold-line section in the first layer. The second layer covers substantially all of the bottom surface of the first layer except for the fold-line section. Another aspect provides a label having a first layer and a second layer attached to the first layer and having at least two sections separated by a gap, the gap being discernible through the first layer.

Abstract: A tab system for a folder (10a), and a method of making same is disclosed. The tab is enlarged to carry more information/indicia. The visual indicia space (16a), i.e. the viewable space on the front (32a, 36a) of the folder which allows viewing of the enlarged tab is achieve without violating the overall size restrictions (40a) of the file folder. Instead, the front of the folder adjacent to the tab on the back panel, is cut away (32a,34a) to expose a greater portion of the back panel (14a) and allow an increase in visual indicia space. The remaining portion of the front panel, not adjacent to the tab may also be cut away (34a) to allow other enlarged tab files, with offset tabs, (22d, 21a) to be viewable behind the present file.

Abstract: A system for organizing very similar articles in a container so that the user can readily identify the desired article. A “menu” may be used to readily identify the articles, which preferably are non-food, consumer items, such as bandages or first-aid supplies. The “menu” may be provided in the lid of the container. If desired, the “menu” may be fixedly provided in the lid of the container, such as on the interior-facing surface of a flip-top or hinged-lid of the container. The articles may be organized in an insert or tray that is removable from a shell portion of the container so the shell can be used for other purposes.

Abstract: An improved tabbed divider making apparatus is disclosed. The machine preferably improves upon existing tabbed divider making machines in its ease of use and efficiency. Among other elements, the machine may include a paper feeder, a processing section, and an output tray. An improved film delivery system is also disclosed, as well as methods relating to manufacturing of tabbed dividers.

Abstract: In an application to organize and store decals, an apparatus includes a back portion, a spine, and a cover. A first end of the spine is attached to the back portion. A set of sheets is attached between the back portion and the spine. Each of the sheets is cut to include strips that extend out from the spine. A set of decals is contained on each of the sheets. A first edge of the cover is attached to the back portion. The second edge of the cover is capable of engaging a second end of the spine. The cover is sized to cover the sheets and engage the spine in a closed position and is capable of rotating into an open position to reveal the sheets.

Abstract: The present invention performs labeling that matches the information recorded on a recording medium. A recording/reproducing apparatus (10) is an apparatus that labels the content stored on a recording medium (20) on the recording medium (20), and includes a control unit (11) that acquires label information for labeling the content and a printing unit (12) that labels the label information on the recording medium (20).

Abstract: The present invention is a book made of plural inner sheets with specific cutouts at specific locations at the open margin edge. Each sheet is colored or printed with different animal characters or graphic elements. The sheets are arranged and bound in such a way that when an user flips through this invention at specific location of the open edge, only specific pages after another are viewed. The specific pages are all designed with the same specific colors or the same graphic elements depending on which location of the open edge the user holds to flip through the pages. The appearance of the book changes by the user trying out different locations for flipping the edge.

The tabs are partially coated with removable adhesive and have an edge portion that is not coated with adhesive. Each of the tabs has on an edge thereof a writing surface.

Abstract: A display includes a base having a front surface, an adhesive pattern formed over a first area of the front surface, a reflective layer over the adhesive pattern, and may include an image formed over a second area of the front surface which is at least partially not occupied by the reflective layer. A manufacturing method improves economy of manufacture by combining a texture pattern layer and an adhesive layer.

Abstract: An index tab labeling system for use with suspended file folder of the type having vertical slots along an upper margin, the labeling system comprising a flexible index tab having a single layer of flexible material with lugs for insertion into the vertical slots in the file folder. A pad of labels is affixed to the index tab by a releasable adhesive. The pad of labels has multiple labels which are held to each other by releasable adhesive. The user may write index information on the uppermost label and when the index information requires changing, the uppermost label may be peeled off and the next label is made available for index information to be entered thereon. A pad of three labels is considered to be optimum. When all the labels in one pad are used, a new pad of labels may be releasably adhered to the index tab. In an alternative embodiment, each of the labels may be supplied with a portion that does not have a releasable adhesive applied to it.

Abstract: A file folder blank can be folded to form a file folder. The file folder blank is designed for single side printing. The file folder blank can be folded to reveal printed indicia to two directions of a single panel. The printed indicia can be printed by a standard desktop type of printer. The printed indicia can include graphics, location indicator, content indicators, pictures, graphs or the like. In addition, top taps or side tabs are integrally formed with the file folder blank that can be printed with identifying indicia. In some applications, the identifying indicia comprises a repeating set of color bars that can be individualized during printing of the folder blank.

Folding the tab extension about the tab fold line causes the outer tab portion to overlie the inner tab portion forming a tab which extends from an edge of the first cover portion beyond the second cover portion when the second cover portion is folded to overlie the first cover portion.

The pocket panel can have a finger notch at the center of its top edge. A tab is cut out of the edge portion of the sheet body portion to form a tabbed divider sheet. The tab advantageously can be formed at any location along the edge portion including at a lower location directly adjacent to the pocket.

The assembly includes a divider sheet having a tab extending out of one edge and a reinforced binding edge flap. The divider sheet can be manufactured from ink jet receptive top-coated white cardstock. A guide strip along the tab edge assists the assembly being fed and passing through the printer despite the presence of the tab. The binding edge flap is folded over onto the body of the sheet and held thereon to reduce the width dimension of the assembly so that it can be fed into and passed through the printer. After passing through the printer, the guide strip is removed and the flap is unfolded. To improve feed of the assembly from a printer feed tray having corner guides, the flap is manufactured to have notches cut out of both ends thereof to define thin legs along the flap fold line and at both corner ends of the flap.

The sheet is passed through a printer, and indicia is printed on both sides of a tab material fold line on at least a portion of the tab material on one of the faces. Then, the tab material portion is released from that face, folded onto itself on the fold line, and the end of that portion is re-adhered to that face but closer to the sheet edge. Thereby, the folded tab material portion extends out from the edge and has indicia printed on both sides thereof to define a tab. Pursuant to one embodiment, a series of these tab material portions line that face along the edge, separated from one another by die cut lines. The user can then select the portion to be released from the face, folded onto itself and its end attached to the face to define an outwardly extending tab at the desired place anywhere along the edge.

Abstract: A stationery appliance for use with a loose leaf ring binder that has at least two closure rings capable of holding punched sheets in an organized manner. The appliance comprises a grouping device selectively encircling a plurality of the sheets to define an integral group thereof and maintain the integral group segregated from all of the other sheets held by the closure rings of the ring binder. The grouping device is selectively releasable to permit inspection of individual sheets of the integral group or removal of individual sheets from the ring binder. In one embodiment, the grouping device includes an elongated strip of flexible sheet material extending between first and second ends, the strip including a bight portion intermediate the first and second ends to define an upper elongated flap generally contiguous with an uppermost sheet of the integral group of sheets and a lower elongated flap generally contiguous with a lowermost sheet of the integral group of sheets.

The strip helps the printer (or copier) sense the sheet when being fed strip end first or last (landscape direction) into the printer or copier.
