Abstract: A filler neck adapter to be inserted through the open fuel mouth of a capless filler neck of a fuel tank of a motor vehicle. The adapter has a hollow flow body to create a continuous flow path between a source of pressure or vacuum and the fuel tank to enable the fuel tank to be tested for leaks. A resilient seal surrounds the flow body of the adapter so as to lie between movable and stationary seal stops. A force-generating member is moved along the flow body to push the movable seal stop and the seal towards the stationary seal stop. The main sleeve has an interior hard rubber sleeve that has rings extending to an interior of the sleeve and the rings are slanted in the direction of the insertion of the pipe to be inserted therein.

Abstract: There is provided a plumbing fitting that is formed so as to be capable of a quick connection to a plastic drainage pipe. The plumbing fitting can be attached to the drainage system with the final plumbing construction and avoids the need for a plumber to make any separate trips to the construction site during wall build out. The plumbing fitting includes a hollow metal spout that has a substantially cylindrical attachment area and a stop. A hollow plastic connector, substantially cylindrical in its outer surface, is attached to the metal spout by sliding the connector into the attachment area of the spout until the connector contacts the stop. The plastic connector can be attached to the spout by a friction or press fitting. The hollow plastic connector is itself formed in an inner surface so as to be capable of attachment to a drain pipe through standard solvent welded female-to-male quick connection.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method for mounting micro jets on whirlpool bath surfaces. Micro jets are mounted in the bottom of cups. The cup containing the micro jet is mounted in an opening performed in the whirlpool bath shell. The proposed method is specially interesting for jets located on surfaces where fluid flows are obstructed such as the surface where a person's back rests when someone lies in a whirlpool bath. This method allows manufacturers to install micro jets those whirlpool bath surfaces without having a recessed part. Moreover, it allows to modify easily the fluid jet pattern depending on the consumer's needs. The present invention also concerns recessed micro jets for whirlpool baths and method for mounting the same.

The first component has a surface to be connected to the container by forming a welded heat fusion joint. The first component has an insufficient diffusion barrier capability relative to hydrocarbon fuel. Compared to the material of the first component, the material of the second component has higher diffusion barrier capability, reduced swelling capability relative hydrocarbon fuel, higher mechanical strength, and higher thermal shape stability. The first component encloses the second component at least up to an injection location remote from the connecting surface. The material of the second component is injected into the still formable core of the material of the first component via the injection location.
