    Abstract: A chemical delivery system connects to a chemical tank and includes a union connected to the tank outlet and providing an antirotation feature, in addition to threads, to prevent rotation of the assembly in response to asymmetric loads. A measuring tube alternately receives liquid from the tank and is isolated from the tank. While isolated from the tank, liquid is withdrawn from the tube by a pump under conditions allowing the pump to be calibrated. The assembly is cantilevered from the tank outlet and is of reduced length and weight producing a device which is not prone to overstress the tank outlet.

A sealing member is interposed between an inner surface of the tank body and the skirt around the nozzle body insertion hole. A spacer member is disposed on an outer surface of the tank body around the cylinder. By tightening a nut on a male screw of the cylinder of the nozzle body, a portion of the tank body around the nozzle body insertion hole is sandwiched by the skirt of the nozzle body and the spacer member.

First and second protrusions of the first end of the conduit are shaped to be received through first and second slots of the opening formed through the wall. A resilient seal member is attached to the first end of the conduit and is compressible by moving the conduit out of a first position relative to the opening in which the first and second protrusions are aligned with the first and second slots. By moving the conduit away from its first position, the resilient seal member is compressed to provide a liquid seal which prevents liquid from leaking through the opening formed through the wall.

    Abstract: A vapor vent valve has an annular locking ring received thereover, with surfaces thereon engaging the valve for limited axial movement therebetween and preventing relative rotation therebetween. A fuel tank has an access opening with a slit formed therein. The valve is inserted in the access opening and the end of the locking ring engaged in the slit, rotation of the valve causes the locking ring to feed completely through the slit to the interior of the tank and engages the inner surface thereof while continuing to engage the valve to retain and seal the valve in the access opening. The valve, locking ring and a seal ring may be pre-assembled to form a subassembly capable of being installed and locked on the fuel tank as a unit without the need for tools or fasteners.

In this way, the respective thickness of the wall (4) is accommodated.

As a result of their limited size, the limiter members can be adapted in a optimum manner to locally differing requirements.     Abstract: A pipe joining device for interconnecting a main pipe to a branch pipe in fluid flow communication comprises a lug pipe, sealing collar and lock nut. The lug pipe is a short, externally threaded pipe having a pair of lugs extending radially from one end thereof. Arches cut in the central portion of the lug pipe extend the undercut stem portion in line with the lugs. A tilting and rocking motion inserts first one lug and then the other into a hole cut in the main pipe, clearance for the tilting movement being provided by the undercut stem and arches. The contoured sealing collar and lock nut are attached to the lug pipe to fasten the device to the main pipe. The branch pipe is externally threaded so it can be threaded into the internal threads of the lug pipe to complete the connection. A caulking, bonding or adhesive agent may be employed to provide a more fluid tight seal of the component parts.
