  • Patent number: 11118836
Abstract: A reusable drywall air injector is fashioned from durable, rigid material. A pointed tip for piercing drywall extends from a hollow cylinder around which is disposed a helical blade. A hollow hex section is connected between the hollow cylinder and a hollow nipple, the interiors of the cylinder, the hex section and the nipple interconnecting to form a path for compressed air. Embodiments of the injector further fashion the interior of the hollow cylinder with notches adapted to receive a driver head. The injector is inserted into drywall by driving the injector by means of a motorized drill or screwdriver engaging the injector either by deep well socket around the hex section or, in embodiments, by appropriate driver head engaging the cooperating notches in the hollow cylinder. After use, the injector may be removed from drywall for reuse by the same means operated in reverse.

  • Patent number: 10859195
Abstract: The invention is a tapping assembly for use on a pipe or tank. It includes a hollow body that sits flush on the outer wall of the pipe or tank and includes a plurality of locking members that sit flush within the body and form a threaded portion into which a cap is insertable. Each locking member extends into the interior of the pipe or tank, and has an outwardly extending flanged portion that engages with the inner sidewall of the pipe or tank. When the cap is tightened against the body, it causes each of the locking member to retract, thereby causing the respective flange portions to lock the assembly against the pipe or tank wall. The assembly can be manufactured to provide either an orthogonal tap, or an angled tap, relative to the longitudinal axis of the pipe, or plane of the tank sidewall.

Abstract: A connection fitting for the fastening of elongated bodies, for example of cables (2) or also hoses, tubes, corrugated hoses and the like, in an opening (3), which can be a through hole or a boring in a wall (4) of a building. The connection fitting includes a clamping collet (9) which, in its operation position, penetrates the opening (3) and is self expanding behind the opening (3), and which, by means of an axial retraction opposite to the direction of insertion, is also radially compressible and thus exerts a clamping force on the elongated body. To effect this motion of retraction, a sheath (11) is provided, which is frictionally connected or force-fit connected with a locking ring (15), which, by rotational movement of the sheath (11) itself turns accordingly and, by its own threading, is axially displaced until the ring (15) abuts the wall (4) on the opening rim (12) and remains there in a stop position.
