Abstract: This repair device includes a casing, a slide shaft slidably arranged with respect to the casing, a turn table rotatably arranged with respect to the slide shaft, a cutting mechanism installed on the turn table and including a cutting tool, and an advancing and retracting mechanism that displaces a radius of rotation of the cutting mechanism with respect to rotations of the turn table forward and backward. In a state where the casing is centered and positioned with respect to the pipe, the turn table is rotationally displaced while the slide shaft slides in an axial direction, and the advancing and retracting mechanism displaces the cutting mechanism forward and backward. Accordingly, the cutting tool helically turns along an inner peripheral shape of the pipe to cut an inner periphery of the pipe.

Abstract: A method for adjusting a valve clearance in a cylinder head using a rocker arm of a support point adjustable type. In the method, an adjustment screw is rotated in one direction until a camshaft comes in contact with a cam shaft contact section to make the amount of valve opening zero, then further rotated until the valve is released with a certain valve opening amount, and after that, rotated in a reverse direction by a certain rotation angle and accordingly loosened until a desired valve clearance value is obtained. In the process above, the method determines a first rotation angle of the adjustment screw necessary for the adjustment screw to move from a position where the valve is released with the certain valve opening amount to a position where the camshaft comes in contact with the camshaft contact section.

Abstract: A working system for a circuit substrate enabling a control of stopping the substrate without inconvenience. A PWB detector 308 held by a Y-axis slide 252 of an XY robot 266 moving a component mounting head, has reflection type photoelectric sensors 310, 312 spaced from each other in a direction of conveyance of a PWB 12 by a conveyor 14. When the PWB 12 carried in the system, the sensors 310, 312 are moved to a position corresponding to a downstream-side edge of the PWB 12 stopped at a predetermined stop position. The PWB 12 is decelerated when detected by one of the sensors on the upstream side, and stopped at a desired position regardless of its shape, dimensions and conveying direction, when detected by the other or downstream sensor. Electronic circuit components 16 can be supplied to plural kinds of PWBs 12 with one component supply device.

Abstract: An integrated wafer level board/card assembly method combines wafer level packaging, testing and assembly process. The integrated process includes the steps of first wafer sorting, laser repairing, second wafer sorting, wafer level burn-in, wafer level packaging, final testing, wafer sawing and board/card assembly. Information including wafer mapping and yield data of a process step is used as the input data to a next process step. Burn-in circuits and internal probing pads are built in the dice of the wafer to enable wafer level burn-in. A wafer cassette is used to move wafers between steps. Probers are used as the primary equipment in many steps to provide automatic wafer loading and testing. A multi-chip module die bonder, an IR re-flow system and an open/short tester form an automatic in-line system to accomplish the step of assembling a plurality of integrated circuit chips on a PC board.
