Abstract: The present invention discloses a flood protection device. The device comprises at least one base, at least one telescoping pole installed in each corner of base, a heavy duty flexible material bag to cover at least one item placed on base and at least one locking unit comprising locking seal and button lock to seal bag. To cover the item using the device, first the item is placed on base. Then the poles are installed on the base to support the bag. After covering the item using bag, the locking seal and button lock are closed to seal the bag. The height of poles are adjustable to create sufficient space for item to be placed. The bag protects the item placed inside the device from flood and avoids any damage of it during flood and storm.

Abstract: A juice extraction device for extracting juice from food includes a hollow juice extraction screw capable of being rotated along an axis and having a food inlet through which food enters the juice extraction device; a mesh filter for separating the juice from the food, the mesh filter encompassing the juice extraction screw; and a housing encompassing the mesh filter. The provision of a hollow juice extraction screw can minimize the length of the device while maintaining juicing efficiency. This feature also allows the device to be placed vertically, such that various components, including the juice exit, may be located at the bottom position for improved efficiency and convenience.

Abstract: Provided is a reusable food storage container, comprising a vessel that can store a food and/or beverage and a removable cap that closes the vessel. The cap can have a tube or other through-passage formed therein to enable a user to squeeze or draw out the contents of the vessel. The cap can include a mouthpiece and a plug to close the mouthpiece. The cap can be configured to make at least one of a seal, e.g., an airtight and/or water tight-seal, with the vessel, by being press fit into the top of the vessel. And the plug can be configured to close and seal the mouthpiece.

Abstract: A deployable vision obstructer for use in lockdown drills and procedures. A flexible shade is attached to a door surface above a window by means of a mounting assembly connected to a proximal end of the flexible shade. The flexible shade is configurable between a retracted position and a deployed position and is opaque such that when in the deployed position, the flexible shade obstructs the field of view through the window. The flexible shade is rolled up into the retracted position and is held in place by a shade retaining assembly, such that the flexible shade may readily be deployed as needed. An at least one weight is connected to a distal end of the flexible shade, being positioned opposite the proximal end, in order to assist in deploying the flexible shade. Additionally, a security key is coupled to the distal end for locking the door.

Abstract: A roll-up golf cart side curtain having a rigid PVC pipe installed on the bottom of said curtain to assist in quickly rolling up the curtain into a neat, compact position. The rigid pipe is cut down one side, along the entire length and installed on the bottom of the curtain.

Abstract: A movable screen or visor for a window adjacent a trim liner includes a contour rod movable from a stowed position to a deployed position. The contour rod includes a forward end, an offset portion, and a rearward end opposite the forward end from the offset portion. The screen also includes a shade member operatively attached to the contour rod. The shade member is disposed within the trim liner when the contour rod is in the stowed position and is disposed outside of the trim liner in the deployed position. The shade member blocks a portion of the window when the contour rod is in the deployed position.

Abstract: A portable golf cart curtain assembly that is able to be installed by one golfer in a matter of minutes on any golf cart and provide a substantial barrier to the elements. Its extensible framework is designed for quick attachment to a plethora of different carts and to remain in place despite the twisting of the golf cart frame and any jostling of the golf cart as it traverses about the course. A set of rubber grommets keeps any movement of the assembly quiet as metal on metal contact is eliminated.

Abstract: A vehicle roller blind or a sunshield roller blind for motor vehicles includes a roller blind web which is connected to a thrust element, which is rigid in compression and/or bending-resistant, for tensioning the roller blind web, and having an adjusting device which actuates the thrust element, which is embodied in the manner of a single-strand cable window lifter and which is at least partially encapsulated together with the thrust element. The thrust element and the adjusting device are arranged in a housing which holds the thrust element and the adjusting device and which comprises a drive housing for the roller blind drive and a preferably tubular guide channel which holds the thrust element and the flexible traction means.

Abstract: A stroller covering including a removable cover shade is provided. Embodiments of this invention are directed to a removable shade for a stroller hood or bassinet hood to shield a stroller occupant (i.e., an infant or child) from rain, snow, sunlight, noise, etc., while allowing his/her caregiver quick and easy access to the child. In these embodiments, the removable shade comprises a curtain configured to cover an opening formed by the stroller hood, and a flange extending from the curtain for engaging a surface of the stroller hood.

Abstract: An device for attaching a cargo restraint system to the incorporated roll bar of a motor vehicle with convertible or removable top. By utilizing this existing portion of the vehicle, added cargo retention can be provided for, by attaching an device around said roll bar extending around the rear perimeter of the passenger area. In order to retain maximum driver visibility, the device will consist of netting material similar to that used in fishing, bordered by a heavier material to enable attachment to the vehicle. By utilizing an existing feature of the vehicle, the user is not required to modify any portion of the vehicle in order to attach the invention. Additionally, by not sharing any points of attachment with the existing top, the user is able to utilize the invention with or without the existing convertible top.

Abstract: A vehicle window interior shade assembly includes a vehicle shade support structure, a first shade, a second shade, and a trim member. The vehicle shade support structure is configured for installation adjacent to a window opening. The first shade and second shades are movably coupled to the vehicle shade support structure to move between respective retracted positions and extended positions. The trim member is coupled to a first leading edge portion of the first shade and includes an elongated recess configured to releasably receive a second leading edge portion of the second shade to form a continuous shade structure when the first and second shades are in both in their extended positions.

Abstract: A soft golf cart shield is provided which comprises a flexible and transparent sheet of water-repellent material for covering one side of the cart and at least one connector for attaching the sheet to the cart. The sheet is reversible and adapted to be attached to either of two open sides of the cart. In one embodiment the sheet has a top hem through which a connector is threaded along its top edge. Said connector comprises a cord desirably terminating in two hooks at opposite ends of the cord, the hooks being adapted to be attached to said cart.

Abstract: A windup window shade is provided with windup window shade means which, in the extracted state, make possible different degrees of opacity at the window. To this end, the two window shade web can either be wound on separate windup shafts and spread out in the same direction from the same starting point, or the two window shade webs have been connected with each other and, after having been extended, are moved in the manner of a film in front of the window. Two windup shafts are employed in both cases, wherein in the one case the two windup shafts are located directly next to each other, while in the other case the windup shafts are separated from each other during the extension of the shade.

Abstract: A golf cart canopy attachment includes a shield which has a pair of guide channels formed on a top surface. A raised portion or dormer is formed between the channels. The channels engage corresponding guide channels in a golf cart roof to enable the shield to slide with respect to the roof. A pair of locking grooves are formed on the shield for preventing further movement in either a fully extended or fully retracted position. Stop blocks are provided on side walls of the shield to prevent further outward movement of the shield in the fully open position. A rod extends from an underside of the shield from which a pair of curtains extends. The curtains are moved along the rod on opposite sides to be connected together when the shield is in the fully opened position. When a shield is in a closed position, the curtains are pulled back to stored positions and fastened onto roof supports at the rear of the roof.

Abstract: A folding top for a commercial vehicle includes a folding top frame, bows supporting a roof covering, and side tarpaulins suspended by means of hanging sliders. The folding-top frame includes upper longitudinal flanges spanning at least part of the length of a loading compartment of the vehicle. The frame is supported against a chassis of the vehicle via upwardly protruding supports and stakes. The bows are supported on the upper longitudinal flanges and displaceable in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The side tarpaulins are suspended via the hanging sliders in a longitudinally displaceable manner on assigned running tracks of the upper longitudinal flanges. Each of the hanging sliders includes a fastening plate for connecting one of the side tarpaulins. The fastening plate is of two-part design and includes a first part connected to the slider and a second part connected to an upper end of the one of the side tarpaulins.

The clamping device has clamping rods which are arranged at least at sides of the screening element and are respectively held at a retaining bearing on a lining of a roof and at a counterbearing on a lining bordering on the lower edge of the rear window.

Abstract: A side curtain for the superstructure of a freight vehicle has its upper edge arranged for longitudinal movement at an upper portion of the superstructure. The bottom edge of the curtain includes a relatively rigid engaging device which extends along substantially the whole length of the curtain, is releasably connectable to a tensioning device. The engaging device has evenly spaced bending notches which, when the engaging device is at least partially freed from the tensioning device, guides the folding of the curtain during movement of its upper edge towards a non-covering position.

Abstract: A stowable partition assembly for a truck cab provides privacy for an interior sleeping area mounted aft of the operator space. The assembly has an overhead track depending from the cab ceiling, oriented to define a border between the forward operator area and the aft interior sleeping area. A pair of curtains are hung from their upper edges from the overhead track and are positionable on the track to divide the aft living space from the forward operator space when extended. A pair of stowage compartments are located at each end of the track along the interior sides of the truck cab to receive the curtain when retracted. Retraction of the curtains is provided by roll up retractors disposed in each stowage compartment. The curtains are each attached along one of two vertical edges to the roll up retractor to be wound thereon. An interlocking latch provides closure of the curtains when pulled from the stowage compartments.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for securing a bottom end of a curtain on a curtainside trailer. Each embodiment of the mechanism generally includes a hook-shaped member and a driving mechanism. The hook-shaped member engages the bottom edge of the curtain. The driving mechanism extends the hook-shaped member from underneath the side rail of the trailer so that the hook-shaped member is outboard of the side rail or retracts the hook-shaped member so that the hook-shaped member is positioned completely underneath the side rail of the trailer. The embodiments of the curtain securing mechanism disclosed in FIGS. 1-6 are mechanically driven and include an air actuator which is interconnected to the hook-shaped member to extend or retract the hook-shaped member. The embodiments of the curtain securing mechanism disclosed in FIGS. 7-10 are manually driven and include link members which are attached to the hook-shaped member and to a handle member.

Abstract: A window sunshade for cars includes an elongate foam rubber band adhered on an inner upper edge of a window frame of either of side windows of a car, and a VELCRO hook strip fixed on an outer side of the foam rubber band to fasten with a VELCRO loop strip on an inner side of vertical portion of a T-shaped cross-sectional position bar made of soft plastic. The position bar has a horizontal portion as a rail for C-shaped hooks to hook and slide thereon. The hooks also hook through holes in an upper end of a sunshade so that the sunshade may be hung on the position bar and secured in a spread position by two outermost hooks hooking with two clasping ends fitting with two ends of the position bar.

Abstract: An automobile window shade system comprises a frame (20) formed of hollow horizontal elements (20a through 20d) and hollow vertical elements (22a through 22f) interconnected by T-shaped connectors (24a through 24f). The frame is installed inside the automobile and contains a beaded cord (128) with beads or expansions (130) rigidly attached to the cord. Two adjacent shades (142 and 144) are made of a light-impermeable flexible material and are attached to a yoke. An embodiment with a beaded thread (128) and an expandable spring-loaded C-shaped portion of the yoke makes it possible to shield and unshield windows selectively by fixing the yoke and pulling the beaded cord through the spring-loaded C-shaped hole of the yoke. As a result, the shades are shifted to a new initial position and then moved from this new position.

Abstract: An automobile window shade system comprising a frame (20) formed of horizontal tubular elements (20a through 20c) and vertical tubular elements (22e through 22f) interconnected by T-shaped connectors (24a through 24f). The frame is installed inside the automobile body and contains a cord (42) guided through a plurality of guiding means (64, 66, and 68). Two adjacent shades (94 and 96) which are made of a light-impermeable flexible material are attached to a yoke (84). One end of the yoke is located inside the vertical tubular element (22e through 22f) between two stops (88 and 90) which are rigidly attached the cord. The cord is also connected to a handle (110). When the handle (110) is moved in the window shading direction, it moves the cord (42) and hence the stops (88 and 90). When the upper stop (88) comes into contact with the yoke (84) it moves the yoke and the shields (94 and 96) down, thus shading the windows.

Abstract: A retracting system for flexible side walls utilized for cargo vehicles wherein the flexible side wall is attached at one end to a slidable door used to extend and retract the flexible side wall. This system provides a narrow slidable door connected to a system of pulleys and cables that maintain the slidable door perpendicular to the floor and roof of the vehicle during horizontal movement of the slidable door for closing or opening the open side of a cargo carrying vehicle. The system can incorporate a reversible motor to propel the system and move the slidable door without a pushing or pulling force rom a human operator. The slidable door is suspended from a track at the top edge of the door keeping the slidable door in alignment and decreasing rolling resistance.

Abstract: A curtain installation structure for a vehicle is comprised of a garnish which is installed to cover a pillar of the vehicle. The garnish defines a curtain receiving section at a side end portion of a window. A cover member is hingedly connected to the garnish to close the curtain receiving section. A curtain of the window is slidably connected to a curtain rail which is attached to an upper side of the window and whose end portion extends near the garnish. When the curtain is not in use, it is received in the curtain receiving section under a folded condition, and the curtain receiving section is closed by the cover member.

Abstract: A flexible side wall construction for cargo vehicles that can be slidably opened by a sliding cargo door providing access to the cargo area of the vehicle. The flexible side wall may be compactly folded increasing the user's access to the cargo area of the vehicle. A plurality of connected panels of the flexible side wall include a series of primary poles, horizontally spaced along the flexible side wall. These panels further include upper and lower spring loaded intermediate poles affixed within intermediate pockets which are biased to cause the flexible side wall to fold in an orderly, pleated fashion. The pleated arrangement allows a weather sealing pelmet to properly function when the flexible side wall is fully lengthened or in a compacted position.

Abstract: An improved mounting case for use with a shade unit mounted on a solid surface such as an automotive vehicle or a window of a house or the like. The case is designed to allow the shade unit to be mounted on both curved solid surfaces and on straight non-curved solid surfaces. The case has features which permit it to be pivoted in relation to the retractable shade unit to compensate for the curve in the solid surface. The case may also have features which permit it to be released from the solid surface so that the shade unit may be used elsewhere as desired.

Abstract: A tarpaulin side kit for use with a separate top cover in covering a load on a vehicle having a flat bed and a plurality of post brackets mounted at spaced apart locations along the periphery of the flat bed. The side kit includes a plurality of longitudinally arranged inverted U-shaped bows, a plurality of side posts, and a plurality of side cover sections formed of a flexible, sheet-like tarp material. The side cover sections each have a plurality of pocket sized to receive the posts and support the side cover sections from slipping down on the posts. A weather flap extends along the length of each of the side cover sections and overlies the flat bed to protect the load from weather. A plurality of stake extensions are also provided to permit use of the side kit with higher standing loads. The bows, side posts and stake extension are conveniently stored in carries mounted to the underside of the bed of the vehicle.

Abstract: A system for accessing interior portions of a curtainside truck trailer including a flexible curtain, upper and lower roller assemblies secured to the curtain for engagement with upper and lower rails mounted on the truck trailer for supporting the curtain during expanding and contracting movement along the rails. A support panel is mounted between upper and lower longitudinal edge portions of the truck trailer, and a latching mechanism is connected to the support panel which includes a shaft with a vertical axis of rotation, a latch attached to the shaft engagement with a keeper attached to the curtain. An operating member is attached to the shaft for rotating the shaft about its longitudinal axis and engaging the latch and keeper. A latch guide is captively engaged by the latch and attached to the support panel for guiding movement of the latch into engagement with the keeper. A spring biased locking mechanism for locking the latching mechanism and securing the curtain in the closed position.

Abstract: An automatic retractable shade unit for an automotive vehicle. The unit uses a pleated shade section with a solar reflective coating on at least the outside facing portion of the shade. A thin mounting case is used to removably mount the case in close proximity to nonparallel side posts of the automotive vehicle. A spring bias in combination with retractable cord means allows the shade to be opened and closed against the bias of the spring. The removable fastener mountings used with the invention permit the entire unit to be removed from the front windshield of the vehicle and to be repositioned on another window in the vehicle as desired. The pleated shade section may be closed over the windshield to allow the bottom of the shade to expand more than the top because of the nonparallel sides. The novel construction and positioning of the applicant's shade unit provides a device that has the advantage of quickness and ease of use over prior art devices.

Abstract: There is disclosed curtain hanging tracks made of complementary, extruded members comprising a base portion adapted to be affixed to a wall of a recreational vehicle and a cover portion adapted to be slid onto the base portion and to conceal the fasteners used to mount the base portion on the wall of the recreational vehicle. The cover portion has a longitudinal channel with inturned lips adapted to receive a T-shaped base of a curtain glide. The curtain is affixed to the glides which in turn are slid into the channel so that the curtain can be adjusted.

Abstract: There is disclosed a curtain-hanging track adapted to be mounted in a recreational vehicle having a flat, elongate rail fastened to an interior side wall thereof along and adjacent to the bottom of a window and a support member for said track which is fastened to the outer side end of the rail and disposed between it and the inner side wall.

Abstract: A quick assembly blind for use in combination with an open top boat. The blind comprises generally a rectangular framework releasably secured to the boat and extending above the boat. Drapable curtains depend from the framework to close the blind. A portion of the framework is resiliently mounted to permit quick assembly and/or disassembly.

Abstract: A rain curtain assembly for a golf cart, including a plurality of panels which are attachable to the surface of the cart by a combination of suction cups and hook means. Tie cords are provided for securing the panels to each other to prevent entry of rain and wind to the passenger compartment of the cart.
