Abstract: A folding canvas chair includes a pair of improved connecting members of generally L-shape. The connecting members are provided to pivotally connect legs of a chair with a pair of supporting posts supporting the back of a sitting person. The supporting posts can be folded backwardly for an easy hand carrying.
Abstract: A collapsible chair has a base (1) and a seat portion (2) having a seat (6) disposed above and substantially parallel with the base (1). The seat and the base are connected together by mutually foldable front legs (12), front connecting bars (25), rear legs (13), and rear connecting bars (28). If these parts are folded, the distance between the seat portion (2) and the base (1) can be reduced to achieve a collapsed state in which the dimension in the direction of the height of the chair is reduced.
Abstract: In a collapsible baby carriage having front legs (10) and rear legs (14) adapted to pivot toward each other when the baby carriage is to be folded or collapsed, handrails or armrest (28) are provided which project forwardly from the front legs (10) of the baby carriage. Each handrail or armrest (28) has a front member (48) and a rear member (49), the rear member (49) being fixed to the front leg (10). The front member (48) is connected to the rear member (49) by a pivot pin (50) so that it can be pivoted downwardly. When the rear leg (14) moves toward the front leg (10) as the baby carriage is collapsed or folded, the front member (48) pivots downwardly in operative association with the pivoting, folding movement of the rear leg (14), whereby the handrail or armrest (28) itself is folded.
Abstract: The lounge chair is not only pivotal from an upright position into a reclined position via the use of telescoping arms of the arm frame but also collapsible from the upright position into a folded position via hinges at the rear of the chair. The chair can be easily transported and stored in the collapsed condition by either laying flat or by standing upright.

Abstract: A lounge chair with arm rests, of the type patented in U.S. Pat. No. 4,252,371, in which the arm rest supports partake of pivotal traversing movements and are arranged to do so against a bearing surface which effectively eliminates wobble or other undesirable degrees of movement other than that in the plane of the pivotal traverses.
Abstract: A lightweight portable dental examining chair constructed from a series of panels hingedly joined in triangular patterns to form a rigid structure with an adjustable position backrest and a pair of sling-like armrests. A single horizontal adjustment on the base of the chair varies the tilt angle of the backrest while retaining the head of the patient in the same relative horizontal position.
Abstract: An arm chair and its method of manufacture provides a plurality of standardized, build-up, structural components, the components being joined by means of pin joinings at the appropriate joints, the individual structural components predrilled to accommodate standardized fasteners of substantially identical diameter. The chair is constructed in a method which provides a balanced seating geometry to equally distribute stresses applied to the chair. Structural components are of substantially identical cross-sectional dimensions and of substantially identical material. The chair can be folded into a compact, space saving position.
