The tie ring is elastic. The tie ring has at least one embedding groove for embedding the magnet. The magnet is enclosed within the tie ring. A plurality of magnets are annularly arranged along an edge of the tie ring. The tie ring is combined to an annular body of the tie ring and the tie ring has an annular attracting surface. The hole of the tie ring is not a penetrating hole. The tie ring has a plane attracting surface or a cambered attracting surface.

Abstract: A fixed-blade knife includes a unitary blade having an implement, a tang, and a pivot region between the implement and the tang. The unitary blade is disposed between a pair of parallel and spaced-apart side pieces that pivot to cover or expose the implement. In the pivoted position wherein the implement is exposed, the side pieces form part of the handle that is used to grasp the knife. A locking structure locks the side pieces in a selectable position, and a limit structure prevents overrotation of the side pieces.

Abstract: A portable clipper holding apparatus includes a generally “S”-shaped structure having a first arch and a second arch, the first and second arches positioned in an inverted relationship to one another. The first arch is configured for engaging a substrate and the said second arch configured for receiving at least one clipper and/or accessories.

Abstract: A knife holder is disclosed. The knife holder includes a housing and a block portion for holding one or more knives. The block portion is pivotally attached to the housing such that the block portion may be moved between an upright position in which the block portion is substantially within the housing, and an extended position in which the block portion extends from the housing so that knives may be easily withdrawn therefrom. The knife holder may further include a locking mechanism operatively coupled to the knife block, for selectively locking the knife block in the upright position so that knives cannot be easily withdrawn therefrom.

Abstract: This invention is a knife block for storing cutlery that can be locked to prevent the removal of the knives. An adjustable cap piece rests in one of two positions. In the unlocked position, the cap fits snugly over the base and the knives project up through holes in the cap. In the locked position, the cap is raised and rotated so the knives are inside the cap and inaccessible. The locking mechanism requires adult understanding and hand size to operate, greatly enhancing kitchen safety. In addition, this locking knife block requires no alteration of the knives.

The structure includes a guide member having a guide surface which forms an angle with the abrasive surface of the sharpening member. When the blade is inserted into the space between the abrasive surface and the guide surface the blade presses against the guide surface to displace the guide surface linearly in a direction perpendicular to the guide surface so that the movement is a lateral movement in the same plane without any pivoting or twisting of the guide member.
